I have OCD, depression and anxiety..
I was thrilled when Dr. Goodman mentioned
Clomipramine because that is a wonder drug
for depression and OCD!
It’s an older drug but it’s very effective.
My ocd manifested in intrusive thoughts starting around 17 but I was molested by
my grandpa at 3 and he continuously molested my mom while she was growing up.
So I guess that’s the traumatic event that triggered all my stuff.
I’ve tried therapy but I haven’t really clicked with anyone yet.
Not sure where to go from here, so I appreciate these videos.

What do you do when you have depression from ocd and ocd latches onto treatment and you ruminate about meds and side effects, so that treatment becomes a trigger?

This exact thing happened to me, I’m triggered by treatment and therapy and meds there’s no cure for this, just be yourself

The article you put in the chat with more info on depression is 11 years old. It seems that much of what was in the article, although written by Dr Abramowitz may not have been included in his book and I wonder if the article is outdated.
