2024 Elections | Zuma not eligible to stand as a candidate for the National Assembly

Former President Jacob Zuma cannot stand as a candidate for the National Assembly after the May polls. This after the Constitutional Court clarified that Section 47(1)(E) of the Constitution disqualifies him. Zuma, however, remains the face of the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party on the ballot.
