  • The BEST Cardio For Heart Health ❤️💪🏽
There are so many different cardios…
… how do you know which is the best?
When it comes to heart health, you don’t want to just run because this puts a lot of stress on the heart, especially long term.
With steady state cardio, it’s too low impact to get a high enough heart rate. You can burn fat, but it won’t get the heart beating enough.
If you only do steady state long term, you can get heart disease.
    The best cardio is HIIT.
This means high interval intensity training, so go really hard for a bit before resting for about half the time.
You want to get the heart rate to go up then come down for a shorter period of time.
This helps fat loss and heart rate.

Some people just pull info out of thier butt and start fitness youtube channels. Getting your heart rate to 60-70% max (easy to mildly challenging) is litteraly the most scientifically proven method to improve heart health and overall endurance for sport. Its as good for you as smoking is bad for you. It stretches your heart and makes it bigger and better and transporting blood, high intensity doesnt do this. HIIT is extremely over-rated, and most people don't/ can't even do it properly. Regular strength training already stressed the body out in the same way HIIT does. HIIT isnt bad, just usually redundant, and a little goes a long way (theres a long explanation as to why, watch pavel on jre for a good tldr). Bottom line: low to moderate intensity cardio is absolutely the single most important form of exercise.

Advice should vary depending upon your age and physical state eg smoker, non smoker, obese etc.
If you haven’t trained for a long time, start slow and work your way up.
Walking a mile or a couple of miles is the probably best and safest exercise, then after a few weeks light jogging for 5mins and then slowly increase to 10 mins, 15 minutes and so on. Also swimming is a good option.
Sprinting is only safe for young and fit people and non smokers.

If you don't work your way up obviously it could hurt you but I highly doubt if your able to run and talk just fine it great for your heart. HIIT should be done after you train steady state for awhile because believe me do a hitt workout for 10 mine 1minute sprint one jog without any prior train you probably Will feel sick HIIT is great for improving stamina and speed heart density and how big you heart is.

This guy almost feels like satire how bad his advice is. For most people 80% of your direct cardio training should be steady state, do that for 30-60 minutes everyday or other day and end it with a 2-5 burst and you will have amazing skin, endurance, a low resting heart rate, good heart health. Once a week or every other week do a more intense 15-20 and youre good.
I mean 34 and have resting heart rate in low 50s with years on in off in the gym. Still look young for my age even while sadly smoking for 20 years. I also have better cardio than most of my peers.

Sorry youngster, what's best for you has nothing to do with myself, meaning I'm 63 years old and I don't smoke are drink or do any kind of drugs. And I walk with a 20 are 40 pound weight vest 2 times a week. Again your information is good for you to keep to yourself, I been working out for to many years and nothing you are saying is anything I have to go along with, 6'2" 235 and I'm in great shape from my home gym also .

As a person who once suffered with hypertension and went it to the Drs office yesterday to hear that my blood pressure is now at 117/75 I have to say I strongly disagree about the steady cardio. The best cardio is one you can do long enough to get results and hit just wasn’t doing it for me

Any recommendations for starters, need to lose more weight and lower my bp. Its not high thankfully but ill get 130/135 occasionally over 85/80 most of the time its normal but i really want to start doing cardio i just hate how high my hr gets lol

    • @mths7
      @mths7 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@swagkidm10 Consume foods that are loaded with potassium and magnesium. Also Celtic or pink sea salt because those electrolytes are very important when relaxing the blood vessels. 30 minutes of steady cardio on a machine 3-5 times a week will also get your heart pumping in the right direction. Stay away from processed foods and make sure you’re getting 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep . Refrain from stress and eat Whole Foods. I went on a mainly plant based diet and it helped me. Keep in mind that it won’t happen over night but as long as you stay with it them numbers will drop
