Hi there - definitely not rude! This viola design has a functional purpose (to make it easier to play up high, like some guitars have a half circle cut away....same idea). It was made by Alan Baumforth, a maker who lives near Seattle.

@@dinonuggies7976over ten thousand looking at the maker. I have a copy made by Eastman called the Pietro Lombardi Tertis that sounds good for around 3k. It’s not close in quality but on the cheaper side

Hii. What is the size of your viola ?

Hi Guilherme,
The viola I am playing is 16 and 5/8, but the string length is actually rather short for a viola of that size. The string length is 14.5, but would probably over 15 inches for a typical viola of this size.
