I have the GR3 and absolutely love it. The entire GR lineup are legendary cameras. It's light weight, easy and quick to pack, it's very low profile and if you know what you are doing as a photographer you can capture some splendid images with it. It's also wide enough which allows you to capture different situations.
I always seemed to brush past them since I'm not really a street photographer, but man, this thing is awesome for capturing the day-to-day. Thank you for the love my brother!
I have the Ricoh GR or one can call it the version 1. It was affordable but not the new GR3.. Unfortunately, the GR1 does not have Wifi, so, it is a bit troublesome to transfer my images into my Tab.
Amen to that my man! The convenience is what drew me, the ability to not think at all before I shoot and capture the day-to-day is so refreshing. (I'm not negating the art of composing ;)
@@SpencerWhiteman Did you touch the white balance? I found sometimes it will get orange when lighting is not enough, other than that I am really satisfied
Super camera. I printed some pictures 40x50cm and believe me the details hold great. It's an amazing little camera. Too bad for the dust issue, but you can't have everything. I shoot mainly wide open so it's not a big problem for me.
Absolutely! Yes the dust issue in an interesting topic, I know that the GRIII was supposed to clear that up a bit. I also shoot wide open most of the time so I never really seen dust on my sensor either ;)
Is anyone experiencing a glitch with the GR2 when clicking the Menu button or the rocker to access options, when the shooting dial is in certain modes like P or Auto? The Menu screen and options suddenly disappear as if I clicked the Menu button or rocker to exit
Love my GR2 as well. I'm pretty conscious about carrying my fuji in public and this camera really helps with that. My only issue is constant dust inside the sensor even after having a permanenent lens cover. Also, I have no wifi. Could this be a variant without wifi? Either way, I always have it with me and enjoy shooting with it.
Don’t make me buy another camera lol My GX85 is on its way. You work is amazing bro. I am actually getting into Vintage lenses I want to start with the Canon FD ? What are your thoughts between the canon FD and the Nikon Ai-S ‘s...
Haha that's awesome! Thank you so much for the kind words my brother, both are amazing lenses, I went with Nikon's because they're supposedly a touch sharper than the Canon's, at least my 50mm 1.4. You can't go wrong with either though! :)
@@SpencerWhiteman thank man. I ordered the canon FD 50 mm f1.4 to start with. It was cheaper than the Nikon’s so I wanted to try first and see. But looking at what people are saying about this lenses I am afraid I might be spending more money on vintage lenses lol.
Hey brotha! This little guy is all over the place, since it isn't sold new anymore, I believe the going rates are around 400 USD. It can easily get confused with another model called the Ricoh GR "Digital" ii, which is much cheaper, but it's older and doesn't output the same image quality. As far as the affiliate links go, I don't have any since it can only be purchased used ;(
Spencer tells us that he doesn't know the history of the Ricoh GR cameras without telling us. Shutter button/// lolllll. HI SPENCER< WELCOME TO CAMERAS! and TH-cam. If you're going to make videos, do your research. Don't be lazy, or you wont be successful here.
Extremely portable, lovely positive film profile, nothing beats it for the streets for me...definitely one of the greats!
I agree my man!
Could you share your Positive Film settings for Vividness, Contrast, Sharpness? Thanks!
@@rocx.4297 Yes please that would be very helpful
That would be awesome (please send the settings)
Only in JPG or also in Raw?

My first camera, in 1960, was a Ricoh SLR that held up very well.
I am really pleased that they are
making cameras still.
The Ricoh cameras have always intrigued me, loved this breakdown Spencer!

Erik Satie. I'm already liking it
it's quite hard & expensive to find this beast in France, you're lucky, thanks for the video
all that and build in flash makes this camera perfect daily camera that is always with you. Absolutly love it
Amen to that, I've used the flash a bit and have found it to be pretty useful in certain instances!
Once again, another awesome video! Keep crushing it dude 👌🏻
Thank you so much Dom, I appreciate it so much!
Beautiful coffee photos
yaay for new videos from Spencer!
Haha thanks brother!
Cheap, tiny, point and shoot apsc. 😍 Thanks for the review.
Of course my friend, thanks for watching!

Amazing footage in this video and images as well. One of my favourite editing styles;)

I definitely love the Ricoh!

I haven't used a Ricoh camera. I really like the small form factor and the images you took looked beautiful. Great vid as always.
The form factor was the selling point for me no doubt, thank you so much my man, likewise :)
Awesome video, thanks a lot... greetings from Europe.
I really appreciate it!
You can print much larger than 8*10 with the sharp 16MP images from this camera. MUCH larger.
Absolutely my friend!
Great video. Thank you.
Thank you so much Marcin!
That piano is so sad sounding my guy 🥺 beautiful vid :)
Haha thank you my dude!
Great review. Please, what song is used in this video?

Yes! The buttons don't effing work right. Barely used this camera - it's so frustrating. Cheaply made junk. Only functions in auto mode now.

WiFi was one of the few things added when they went from the GR1 to the GRII. It's in there somewhere, keep looking.
How tf did they make a devices that sucks up dust so easily smh
Do you happen to know the camera settings you used to take these pictures ?

The picture quality output is clearly razor sharp.
Next time please omit the music. It is annoying.
