    MAAAN the way you present it, the way you put all the footages, the way you talk, the thing you taught, everything deserves more than a sub or like! Love your vid man!

    If anyone else is having problems with the vertices not following the plain axes after some more fiddling with the movement of them, you can press the reset button on the hook midifier in edit mode, that fixed it for me.
    Amazing tutorial, very nicely edited, clear instructions and everything, thanks a bunch!

    An above average youtube tutorial! Thank you! Have you considered animating the deceleration curve while catching? Like animate the hook to match the speed of the cloth, catch it with the moving hook, and then slow down to get a more natural look.

    • @lewisanimation
      @lewisanimation  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed the tutorial! And thank you for the suggestion! I think that could work quite well, I believe I was creating this for animations where the cloth needs to stop more suddenly like someone catching it, but if a smoother motion is needed then decelerating the empty absolutely I think could work! :)

    For Stage 5 about catching the cloth, Select both empty and Cloth, the go to Edit mode, Select the vertex, and press ctrl P to parent Empty to vertex, then as the simulation goes the empty will follow that vertex so you don't need to animate the Empty. Hope this Helps, I just tried it out and it works

    • @lewisanimation
      @lewisanimation  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for your comment! I've tried it and it seems potentially like a really cool option to use. I haven't tested it enough to see how well it works with other animations and pins but it's certainly something I'll look into!
