Amazing event, You can use the wine bomb to put dizzy efect (the same that u get when u use leins root beer) on other players, the same aplies yo the bombs from the other event, u can troll other players making them Cry and Dance, it is pretty funny, but only works on other players, i don't think it work on monsters
A TERA CONTENT CREATOR!!!! Where have you been hiding?!?!?!...ahem...sorry about that, wee bit of an outburst. It's so nice to see others who actually enjoy playing the game on consoles. Like you, I been on XBox since before it launched, and you can bet I just subscribed to this! Have you done any videos relating to gear, specifically obtaining armor? I been trying to find answers to something, but have had 0% luck. Great to find your videos, will be watching them regularly!
Thank you. I just started making these videos for fun, and to help others, about nine months ago. That is great that you have also been playing since console launch, and that you also still enjoy playing Tera. What is your question about obtaining armor? While leveling, it normally drops when fighting BAMs, and/or as rewards for completing quests. As soon as you reach level 65, you can go to Highwatch to get your Frostmetal gear and Daylight accessories, then you just keep enchanting and upgrading that same armor, to get the higher levels of gear. Other than that, you can buy gear and weapons through the Trade Broker. Gear and Weapons also sometimes drop from multi-player dungeons, but I don't do multi-player dungeons, so I can't give much advice about that.
@@terasologamer i recently got some frostmetal armor. but, i saw it was a 30 day "rental" (big shock there...). is there anything i can do so that i get to keep it after the 30 days are up? i saw something similar on a broker, but it's asking a whopping 1.? million gold. any help with this would be most greatly appreciated.
Yes, I have received many sets of the 30 day in the past. With the leveling event going on right now, you can get the 30 day set for getting a new character to level 65. In fact, 12 of the new characters I created on my new gamertag received those, and I have made them all permanent, so they all still also have the extra set they received from Dougal. Did you also receive the 30 day set of accessories, and do you also plan to make those permanent? If so, then be sure all of your EQUIPPED equipment and accessories are your 30 day items. Each piece shows how much Item XP you have to earn, before you can make them permanent. I think the accessories require about twice as much Item XP, so if you are only going to convert the Frostmetal, then it is even quicker. First, you must go and earn the Item XP, which you get from doing Vanguard missions. Personally, I always go and fight the Naga Battlemasters on the Island of Dawn. I have Elite Gold active (gives an Item XP boost) and this past weekend we had a double Item XP event going on, so I think each character only took me four rounds of 10 Naga BattleMasters to get 100% Item XP for my accessories (and by default my Frostmetal, since it takes less than the accessories). Without the double Item XP event going on, it will probably take you eight rounds, or maybe a couple more if you don't have Elite status. Once you have the required Item XP shown on each item, then you can enchant them to PERMANENT status. You will just need to look at them and see what it takes to enchant them (I can't remember, off the top of my head). It really did not take much, and it is a 100% chance to enchant, once you have the Item XP done. Enchanting a 30 day piece of equipment/accessory is an "all or none" sort of thing. If you do not yet have the required Item XP earned, then you cannot enchant them (0% chance). Once you have earned the Item XP, then it is a 100% chance for enchantment, you just have to get the enchanting materials. Before fighting Naga Battle Masters (or however you decide to earn Item XP), just BE SURE that you have each piece of 30 day equipment/accessories equipped, because you only earn Item XP on items that you are wearing while doing the missions.
@@terasologamer it worked! bwa-hahahaha! now the world will bow before me and feel my wrath with the power of the gods!! ...no, not really. but it sounded cool. all jokes aside, i tip my hat to you, mighty teramaster! can't thank you enough for taking the time to help me with this. i will remember this!😁😁
Thanks for running through everything and explaining that the items are character bound. It helps a lot to know! Hopefully I'll have enough time to get some costumes
You're welcome. Thanks for the reminder on the last video, to go over the bankable vs. nonbankable properties. I was really rushed when I did this one, because I did not expect the event to begin until the next day, instead of late that evening. I ended up being up a lot later on a work night than normal. I didn't realize until the next day, when I got to watch through the whole video, that I mentioned in the video there was very little time to get enough for the 300 token items, but I was actually thinking of the 400 token items (it was actually the 400 token items for which there was very little time). The costumes are only 300 tokens, so you should be fine. You will get 35 tokens the first time you run the tutorials, then the dailies. You will get 25 tokens each day, doing the dailies after that. The event is scheduled to run through the 8th, but I would plan for the 7th being the last day, when doing the math for how many more tokens you need to get a costume, just to be on the safe side.
@@terasologamer The video seems pretty great to me for being made so quickly! Still will be a bit of a grind to get 300 but glad to know it’s more doable. Thank you again for highlighting that the tokens and costumes are not bankable and each character needs to go in and get the tokens on their own. I made special care to read all the descriptions. Also showing what the outfits looked like at the end was a treat!
Thank you. I wanted to show some of the outfits, because these are really nice quality outfits that I would normally expect to have to buy through the store. They are definitely worth grinding tokens, to get these outfits for free. :)
I am sorry to hear that you just found out about the event yesterday. I actually rushed my video that first night it started, to get the word out as soon as I could. I hope you grind them every day and get whatever you can. In my personal opinion, the event is fun to do, anyway. If you started yesterday, you may still be able to get a bikini.
You're welcome. I am very happy to hear that my videos are useful for noobs. My primary focus is normally for people who are new to Tera, or even for those who have never played before, but are considering it. Thank you very much for the kind words. :)
No. If you gather 300 Sea Tokens, then you get the bikini. Guaranteed. Personally, I think these are high quality cosmetic items that are worth grinding for the tokens. The tokens are basically a "shop", where you open them up and trade those tokens for the exact item shown in the tokens.
Yes, it would be great if we could bank the event tokens. On this new gamertag, with all new characters, I have been running all 13 every day, so that each of them can earn their own swimsuit. I did that with the top 13 on my main gamertag, last year. I will be using extra tokens to buy Bravery Potions, to stock up on those. I love these annual events, because they are fun to grind, and they give some nice rewards. For this character, I did a live broadcast of creating her and getting her from level 1 to 65 in about 14 hours (the video only shows her getting to level 61 in less than 12 hours, because TH-cam stopped recording, without me realizing it). I then did a video 14 days later, showing her popping the AlphaGo title, because I wanted to show that my video for getting the AlphaGo title is effective. You may not want to speed through the AlphaGo title as quickly as I usually do, but the tips in there may help you to work toward your own AlphaGo title th-cam.com/video/AYh7iXVXIB4/w-d-xo.html
