Everywhere we go, there is ruin. Reminders of the faceless terror that dogs our steps. We have not stopped except to rest the horses (it brings me a sick joy to see that even these steeds, glossy-coated with braided manes, are not immune to the stress of this journey. I was not with my mare for long, but she served me loyally--and she was hardly of so gallant a lineage). We pass cities grayed by soot and ash, the spires of their great halls extended like beggars’ hands; other caravans driven by gaunt oxen and haggard farmers, their skin sallow and teeth rotted; abandoned campsites with fluttering tents and fallow farmland and rural graveyards swarming with thick shoals of carrion birds. Once we trotted past a small thatch hut with a door that hung open like a mouth agape. I peered into the stillness within and was quite startled to see emerging from the gloom an older woman in a stained frock, her skirts torn and coated by a substance I could not identify. When I looked upon her face, I swear I felt all the blood leave my body, for her countenance was nothing resembling a human’s. I shouted at the driver in a wordless panic, which quite ruffled the feathers of my travelling companions--that is, until they caught sight of her themselves.
She chased us for over a mile, I think, even with the horses at a frothing gallop. She should not have been able to move as fast as she did, stumbling and loping as she was, her gait strangely elongated.
I had another dream last night. I cannot recall its shape just now, in this dusty afternoon light, but I know that I woke feeling an immense dread settling upon my shoulders--the sense one has after witnessing something he should not have.

I found it. I did. A way through the marches, orcs don´t use it, orcs don´t know it. They go round, round for miles and miles. Come quickly! Soft and quick as shadows we must be.

Maybe it sounds strange (at least my mum thinks it is) but I love to just sit and listen to this or go to sleep to it. Very relaxing to put yourself into another world.
For Halloween, I was thinking that an abandoned carnival in a swamp would be a unique concept with the sounds of children screaming, alligators hissing, frogs croaking, mosquitoes buzzing, cicadas clicking, and clowns laughing in the foreground of the sounds of a steam organ playing notes in a tempo that steadily increases from a low pitched grave to a high pitched presto in order to emphasize foreboding and hysteria before the final low pitched vibrato to emphasize failure to escape.
C'est vraiment cool! Les autres morceaux d'ambient sont souvent beaucoup trop "présents". Les tiens restent discrets et donnent vraiment le ton pour chaque partie sans déconcentrer tout le monde. Continue !

The one part out of the entire trilogy is when frodo falls in and the ghost show up that one part I can not look or I'll have nightmares for days.

I don't think I can't stand another second in this awful place! my robes are always damp, my spell book is near falling apart, and the bugs keep finding ways to bite me even with all this armour! just admit you're lost and I'll portal us away from this nightmare. No "special weapon" is worth this!
