We’re finally back, and have quite an adventure to share with you. Last summer we joined a team of seabird researchers on a Puffin rally around Iceland! Using our wildlife photography skills, we captured images of Puffins in flight, to help the researchers determine what prey the Puffins were eating! For the role we happily accepted our job title for the next fortnight - ' The PUFFARAZZI ’.
Join us on Day 1 where our mission begins, hitching a ride with the Icelandic Search and Rescue team onto the small island of Akurey. Here we discover how tricky photographing these fast-moving birds in flight can be. On day 2 we venture up into the highlands, joining the team on a bird survey at the tourist hotspot, Landmannalaugar, passing by an active volcano on route.

Hey, I’ve met Rodrigo!! He was monitoring the puffin colony on Heimæy in July this year. We were all so excited when it was evident the chicks have started to hatch in their burrows 😊 one of the highlights of my year!
This is awesome! Harry and Ed have produced such a great content out of the conservation work we do in Iceland with puffins 😍. Can't wait to see the whole season 😍😍

Hi, guys. I love the channel and I think I've watched everything you've put out so far. However, the color grading in this episode is phenomenally awful. It was a struggle to watch the opening minute or so, and it didn't get any better once you landed. I couldn't get any further. It quite honestly made my eyes ache and is...unnatural, to say the least. Your skin tones are akin to radiated satsumas and the saturation is so high the hi-vis jackets actually reduced visibility. It's possibly the worst grade I've seen on TH-cam in the last couple of years. Please take the video down, stick a REC709 LUT on the footage and due a subtle grade from there. If you want to do a teal and orange grade (why would you on a nature doc?) then there are walkthroughs and guides aplenty. It is honestly worth doing it right and re-upping the episode before the series goes into full swing. As it stands, the current grade is an eyesore and a nauseatingly florescent stain on an otherwise fantastic lineup of content.
