Livestream first look at the Asobo Canadair CL-415 Pelican in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020

Tonight we're taking a first look at the Canadair CL-415 Pelican in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. This is the "preview" aircraft given to people that have pre-ordered Flight Simulator 2024. If this is the standard we can look forward to, I'm looking forward to the new simulator!
The aircraft doesn't come with any documentation, so I've written up a start-up checklist - available below - I will improve it as I learn more about the aircraft:

I live in Canada, and have seen this very plane land on my lake (we all think the lake we live on is MY lake! lol) and take on water and then take off again right in front of me. This simulation is simply spot on! I actually have photos of this plane and a close up of the pilots looking at me as they turned and flew over my house. This simulation is stunning!

I may be mistaken but from what I could dig up on the web it's nickname is the "Super Scooper" but on some flights it was given the call-sign "Pelican" with a designation #

Also found some placeholders in my aircraft selection screen. I wonder if the extra aircraft from the Aviator Edition I bought might also be available!

I hope those sun visors are stowable in 2024 as I find they interfere with rearward visibility. Nice if they could flip upwards

Thanks for the video Jonathan, it appeared in my content manager today as well. I like 'new' looking aircraft as well. I think there is often way too much 'wear and tear' texturing on most planes, especially the military ones. Time to play after some sleep
