Fascinating woman. She's 77 in this video. She hates capitalism, which threw me a curve ball - when practiced in a truly free-market society, I have come to the opinion that capitalism would prevent the force of centralized governments to overwhelm the interests of the individual.

Every system is basically as fallible as the last due to the force responsible. Human fallibility and greed. Having a system of private ownership oriented toward profit, a system of public ownership oriented toward societal needs, it all inevitably results in a plutocracy unless we fundamentally understand how we truly vote.

Imf is a private company with its head office ,quite close to the other company ,the world bank. Neither has large amounts of money or even access to cash but has immense power.
So what about the tax haven of Swiss? It’s been a thing way before virgin island and or any other place. Growing up I remember hearing get a Swiss bank account to hide your money. Lol
so do you advocate the sale of essential services and utilities like water, health and transport from developing countries to Western corporations? As well as the simulataneous destruction of labour standards and conditions to the benefit of the big corporations and to the extreme detriment of the people of poor nations?
She and I are against this of course. But changeing this practice is going to be difficult, as it has become standard worldwide by now, even for emerging economies like those in Bric.

Many developing nations are in debt and poverty partly due to the policies of international institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
Their programs have been heavily criticized for many years for resulting in poverty. In addition, for developing or third world countries, there has been an increased dependency on the richer nations. This is despite the IMF and World Bank’s claim that they will reduce poverty.
Following an ideology known as neoliberalism, and spearheaded by these and other institutions known as the "Washington Consensus" (for being based in Washington D.C.), Structural Adjustment Policies (SAPs) have been imposed to ensure debt repayment and economic restructuring. But the way it has happened has required poor countries to reduce spending on things like health, education and development, while debt repayment and other economic policies have been made the priority. In effect, the IMF and World Bank have demanded that poor nations lower the standard of living of their people.
I disagree. Fascism, and all far-right ideologies for that matter, are inherently nationalist and in-group oriented. Groups like these are international and have no sense of "group" outside of influence and political/economic clout. They are the anti-fascist, without the humanist element. They are the Fascist without the cultural mythology.
They're the worst parts of both the left and the right.
