He had his own company and there was never shortage of work. My dad loved his uncle very much. As a child we used to visit them every year in Crailsheim for a couple of weeks. As a young woman, Iived in Crailsheim for a couple of years. I have fond memories about the town. These are the first images of Crailsheim during the war. In all the years I've spend and lived there, I never met a German who would speak about the war.

ehrlich, selbst als Crailsheimer keine leichtes erraten. Das folgende Bild zeigt das Gebäude nochmal im Hintergrund, und da ist das "Papier und Schreibwaren" geschäft Fr Blek ? daneben zu sehen. Der Sonneneinstrahlung zur folge und der leicht fallenden Geländestruktur im hintergrund folgend die gebäude leicht fallend, würde ich im Bereich der heutigen Volksbank oder am Schlossplatz suchen. hab mal nach alten karten geschaut: leo-bw bringt ein suchergebniss mit einem PDF auf seite 16 die Karte von 1945 (zerstörte gebäude) im bereich Schloßplatz / schmale straße, da wo heute in etwa die einfahrt zur Tiefgarage befindet passt sehr gut zum gesehenen, auch wenn davon heute nichts oder nur noch sehr wenig zu erkennen ist.
