- Teddy was one of more than 30 beagles used in a laboratory pesticide test for Dow AgroSciences (now called Corteva Agriscience). Following our investigation, he and the other dogs used in this cruel experiment were released from research and made available for adoption. Thanks to your support, Teddy now lives in a loving home. As a beagle mom, it pisses me off that they're prime subjects. They pick beagles because they're so damn sweet...messed up
My wife and I adopted a Beagle laboratory pup. He is a really sweet dog but emotionally scarred. No wonder when you see whats been done to them.
Them labs should be closed down .Its horrible wat they do to the poor dogs and even other animals .Its not rite wat they do to our furbabies testin out pestisides on them .Its cruel barabaric .The same should happen them scumbags evil monsters .
tthe only reason you're alive and your loved one's are alive is because of animal testing, that stupid makeup all women wear are animal tested to ensure safety, thbe basic development of cosmetics such as makeups woud intoxicate a woman, but animals are used to make sure that doesn't happen. I SALUTE every single one who is involved in any animal wellfare organisation... I will always be grateful to you for giving animals a better life, all animals, because ALL lives matters. NO animal should EVER have to face a life in misery, NO matter the reason. There are SO many chemical laboratories to fill the need of any research....
Now the public is finding out more about Beagles being used for testing. I'm glad you guys were way ahead of everyone else that is just now catching up!

I appreciate your sympathy, but your pessimism is misplaced. Though it was a backyard breeder, not a corporation as with these Beagles,, my Beagle mix had who knows how many litters before she was given up at around 6 years old. She is a sweet and treasured companion. And even abused animals can become great pets if adopted by the right, patient and loving person.

Kind of disturbing to see and know that there are actually people out there who are able to work in these labs. It really makes me think, do they even have a heart? How are they able to do something like that?

Sociopaths. Absolutely appalling excuses for human beings. No sane person with a conscience could ever work in that environment.
Sometimes people are forced into those jobs due to financial and legal conditions. Imagine being forced to do things like that to animals. Even in animal slaughter houses all the dirty work is done by people who have no choice. They are forced to do those jobs. I feel bad for everyone involved except for the higher ups that force them to do this stuff and governments that won't do anything about it.
That kind of person is called Fauci syndrome. Go search what he uses out tax dollars to test on beagles

All of these labs that use animals for testing should be shut down. My son's girlfriend works at one that test on beagles. I think its horrible that she works there.
I would rather work digging a ditch than work in a lab that tests on animals. She has NO excuses.

Aww Teddy is such a good boy! I hate animal abuse and neglect and suffering. I look into my pets eyes and think about all those abused and neglected and suffering animals and I dont and cant see why people can to this to cute Nature animals. They are around for peoples love and fascination. Not for experiments and everything else people do. When I get older I'm going to rescue I dont care how hard it is. Animals to me are my motivation to try and not give up on hope. I want someday to own a huge property and have alot of money to do this and rescue and treat and love on these magnificent animals. And have others help me also to help them.
These people will pay for what they do to these animals....God knows who you are !!!!!
The research labs should all be closed down, and all involved in them should go to prison, because it should be against the law for cruel, evil people to do any harm like this to poor, sweet, innocent animals who have no voice and were meant to be loved! Also, any human being that is treating animals like that should have the same thing done to them! I am a strong supporter of the Humane Society and donate every month! I thank God for sending all of the precious, caring people to be these animals angels, and for rescuing them, from their hell, and providing them with medical attention, food, shelter, and loving homes! May God continue to bless all of you!
this is a great time to mention that we shouldnt eat animals! cows have the same joyful happy souls as these dogs with just as much of a right to a beautiful life
I do not think animals should be should for testing at all and such facilities that do this horrible practice should be shut down. I so very thankful Teddy was rescued and I pray all these animals are rescued.

Its vile that our own money went across seas to this... it's heartbreaking, horrible, and just demonic. We need to care about life more in this society. why? The sole reason you're alive is because of vaccines that have cured you from disease's before animal testing boomed, the life expectancy was 25 years less... Many died from diseas's, your lucky smallpox is gone etc. Polio, chickenpox lowered... Those rats that get tested on, their sacrifices are the sole reason that you are alive today.

After that eye opening information y'all put out after your investigation, I made the decision to go natural. I also only use environmentally safe products that are not tested on animals. There is lots of info online. Its easy to do. My home is cleaner for it, and my cats are safer for it, and I am healthier for it.
That was hard to watch. Instead of rescuing them after they've already been abused, why can't we get laws passed to stop animal testing all together? People are much more in tune to animal suffering these days, & I think it would get passed...

An onion can kill a dog, yet it is good for people..... I say pay people who are willing to be test subjects. I'm sure there are millions of people out there that would stand in line for that!

The early stages of vaccines could harm a human for life and kill them, and the short lifespan of a rat allows for long lasting effects to be observed. You really think cures for disease's such as rabies could of been made using vitro methods LMAO. The only reason you can have a pet is because of vaccines made that helped animals such as dogs from rabbies etc. You really think you magically just are cured from disease's such as chickenpox?

I’m so happy that those 4000 dogs were removed from the lab. I’m glad Teddy got a new home and Pray rest get good homes. I just love beagles And know how sweet they are. they don’t deserve being treated so bad.

How heartless someone has to be to not only put this stuff in an animal, but how does someone hold the animal down while its being done. It should be obligatory for all products developed by testing on animals to be registered on a database that consumers can access. I had not thought of pesticides being tested on animals. Another good reason not to use them

I love animal rescue stories but in the case of research it’s especially heartbreaking and sickening to think about what they’ve been forced to ingest - and the effects that’ll have on their bodies in the future. Is it still worth the rescue? Absolutely. But it’d be great to have the company’s that do the testing then pay for their inevitable medical bills.
Jesus, please put the guilty people in jail, revoke their license to practice. These people are wicked. Take down that facility, and any facility that does the same thing. This is horrible , what happened at the research facility.

My sister was a beagle and she passed a few years ago. I want to apply to work at one of these places so I could literally open all of their cages and "accidentally" prop open the back door to the facility so they could all escape and go home with me. Who could do this to any dog, but especially my favorite animal ever....the beag. 💔
The humans that do these cruel tests on these animals & knowing they will die from these terrible things are inhuman. These animals have feelings. They hurt as we do in pain, they love unconditionally & are looking for love & kindness. They do not realize they are being harmed & abused like this. They wag their tails at these people in those labs, thinking they are gonna get loving attention, instead they are being hurt & are dying by those abusive hands with those terrible tests. I thank the lady who got those beautiful beagles out of that awful, filthy, hurtful, murdering & inhumane lab. Do you think God approves of this cruelty being done to these beautiful animals(not only done to dogs(the cats, rabbits & monkeys & more.)he created? I don't think so.........
