    You guys are really entertaining! I've mentioned several times lately, that I've been out of the Hobby since 1997. Getting back in has been like a whole new world! With things like having Scale garages, tools, figures, and vehicle interiors, just opens up a long list of possibilities.
    When I got out, there was no "Scalers". There wasn't much of scale ANYTHING.
    I've been a Model Railroader, non-stop, for 40 years. This mixing of Scale looks and accessories really appeals to me! I'm hoping that my long experience in intricate 1/87th Scale high detailed modeling can help me in 1/10th Scale!
    Videos like yours have really brought me up to speed on the current state of the Hobby. Thanks!

    Damn you GCM! Just when I thought my globeliner was finished now I have to pull the cab apart and fully detail it. Now that I've seen how to start I have all these images of stuff I've seen that I can chop/modify/repurpose to create a tiny truck hauler. Thanks for the inspiration to take something common and make it truly unique. Keep it up. Will post video reply/s of my progress

      paul taylor GO for it, Paul! The good news is the total expense of this interior building is really not that high most of the time, and if you really don't like it, then make changes. There's really no set standard to follow when building interiors, so whatever you come up with will be the new standard for that truck! Thanks for the comments!

    I used part of a 4L milk jug to make a dashboard once, it had all the right curves.

    It's been asked several times, if you could post an instructional, non time lapse, video on building a basic interior....
    I for one, would love to see it. Just how to start, really. How to get off of the frame, how to do door panels, how to do rear panels, dashboards, consoles, ect.....
    Once started, ideas will just flow!

    So for a 92 Cherokee 4 door I should get two dinky RC universal interiors and fuse them? Cause once I saw that I thought it was a good idea. And do you think it would be necessary to switch out the transfer case/transmission on my scx10 to make it fit?

    • @GCMRacing1
      @GCMRacing1  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +znovosad555 Yes, the Universal Dinky interior kit is made to work in succession. You can get 2 of those and join them. The stock SCX trans shouldn't be in the way there.

    when yo say braze ,are you referring to actual gas welding or are people soldering these cages? i usually weld mine,just wondering if solder is strong enough?

    • @GCMRacing1
      @GCMRacing1  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +gravydogg1 Brazing is the process of using MAP gas or mix gas to heat up 2 metal parts, and then melt into the joint a brass bronze mixture from a stick. It's way stronger than soldering.

    • @gravydogg1
      @gravydogg1 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks man,im very familiar with brazing on 1:1scale! I just have heard people soldering on rc and call it brazing.. didnt know if you guys were actually brass filling... love your vids man and im watching from US( ALABAMA)
