Rastafarians never cease throwing stones at Rome. Never heard of a rastafarian roots musician who performed live in Rome. Abidjan, Berlin, Tokyo, Harare, London, Paris, yes they have all been there and done that, but never in Rome. Now you know why.... The late Sugar Minott said "If you go to Rome, you've got to do like the Romans do, all kinds of sinful things, that is not right for you."

It's actually a figure of speech and not a direct correlation. It also means stay away from bad company else you repeat there behaviour. You could do with a few lessons in the way Jamaicans speak, they tend to use common pros and adjectives to create a cryptic phrase to convey messages.
