I write JEVER, It took me a good 5 years to find some sort of natural flow. I write my J's like a D to match the extension on the leg of the R. My V tends to be the biggest letter to make the EVE section work. I'd love to be critiqued by you bro, been watching a long time and love how your brain works. Thanks for sharing!
yo thank you for expressing thisssss! writing HOOT had that flow paradox issue, I started writing ZOOT because I can kinda bookend the O's with a particular hand style of Z and T that are almost mirrors which flips that flow distribution... and then I'm paiting myself into a corner because I don't have a ton of Z's or Ts that still bookend... I don't Write either much to your point NEXERs piece and the weight on the X, I make my Z in NOZYUM the anchor and somehow it doesn't ruin flow despite not being 5 letters or centrally located. I LOVE GRAFFITI, SEEN is one of my favorite Writers his throwie hand style inspired me to figure out HOOTZOOT
Lol hoot would be a hard name for most, I can certainly see the hurtles on that one, I mean all the names you listed would be rough for most people. Props to you for taking the challenge and overcoming
@@Theartistblock big Up Bro, I went up to NYC (I'm from Central PA, surrounded by state parks living on a mountain we own) and walked 100 blocks in a day from my hotel in Bushwick to the Scrapyard bombing black and white Montana Alien cans and dumping Garvey, Inkredible Red, and Murder Ink Chrome outta Molotow Dripsticks like every block. I respect whose already up and I'm not tryna confuse or swaggerjack. DOSE was my OG name, and I got a buncha character additions I use with that one, it's conducive to real trippy shit 😳🤣
Hey man, do you think OLE is hard to manage? I have painted for about 10 years now and recently it’s clicked to me that, I actually have a hard time weighing up and flowing a whole piece together. OLE is in the centre of my word for example GOLEM” sometimes I compose my piece leaning to the left & have the L leaning to the right, I took this idea from sofles back in 2013 when he used to do straight letters! Cheers bruddah
Ole seems like a fun one and I can for sure see what issues the name might present. Weight with the LE vs the O would be rough for sure but I like your solution. Seems you've learned your name well over the past 10 years
@@Theartistblock For sure man, the OLE part just has little negative space gaps, I gotta turn my letters or try add extensions onto the neighboring letters to fill those gaps and keep proportion. I wish i watched your videos a long time back, I would of swapped words a long time ago haha.
It doesn't much matter where they are. Also, if you're keeping it simple then double letters shouldn't and wouldn't be an issue at all since all letters work together automatically, so if theirs even an issue it's because you're adding too much style and that's causing flaws in the fundamentals
This is an extended version of the last vid. I initially put up a poll asking if people wanted a short, or long tutorial or both. Long won the poll but i had a family emergency that same day so I didn't have time to edit the long. For this reason I decided to post both, the short version first for people that learn better with condensed info, then the long version for advanced people who like to dig deep into topics.
Lol oh no dude don't feel dumb at all. You'd be surprised to know most never think of this stuff or know it. These amazing artists typically stumbled onto it without realizing why they did what they did.
Double letters are something a lot of graff artists don't realize they struggle with at first! I didn't realize til I watched this.
Lol double letters are certainly a trip up for many people. I know I certainly struggled with it

Keep 6 is great fro double letter education
very good video!
i love double letters
How about double e? 🤔 or double l? 🤔 cause these are the letters I am having a hard time with. And both letters are back to back.
Idk but double e are really hard to me to
I write toasty and having two T's is so hard for me for some reason
Nice vid
I think geser would have fit in this as well.
What if you have double letters at the end

@@Theartistblock ty for responding, and keep up the good work!
Letters pushing one another... that happends to me with the T and the V
Yea T is such a huge culprit of that. One of those problem letters for many people
@@Theartistblock I hate it, both T and R, I always include them in my tags bc I love how they sound but I cant get them to flow no way
