Thank you for visiting Cambodia. I highly recommend you to do quick google search on Cambodian popular dishes, just like any country they have the popular dishes that foreigners tends to gravitate toward. I highly recommend you tried: amok, nom banh jok, Kay teav Phnom Penh, lot cha ( which u tried in this video along with chives cake), lok lak (viet influence) , fresh Khmer desserts, Khmer beef hot pot, beef stick such ko Arng. Your reaction to Cambodian food might change after you tried those.

I would recommend you to try typical Cambodian food during your next visit to really get the flavor of Cambodian cuisine. Some dishes are distinct with regional flavors. For example, you may find similarities in noodle soup, fried rice, or fried noodles across Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and more. I would recommend you to try something really Cambodian 😊

Yeah, my stay was too short, & I didn't get to try much authentic Cambodian food which I believe will be delicious! 🙂

4:50 this is a traditional cake of Cambodia called Num Kong, made from rice flour in the form of ring with caramel coating on top. It's very popular for morning snacks. You should buy them from local markets which are freshly made and more tasty than in supermarket. BTW it's supposed to be crunchy and sweet.

Nope, but I did try Cambodian curry, it’s delicious! Also, I bought the snack from a supermarket so it might not be as fresh, it was real tough! 😅
