    Can this plugin allow characters to leave footprints on dynamic objects?

      @@pandajumper not quite - if you leave a footprint on something and then that thing moves, the footprint would stay in place. For something like that you’d want to attach Decals, OR you could use 1 render target per object (I’m thinking like, dynamic floating islands)

    ngl… i adore this update and all that it does, but i wonder how easy it is to implement in my own project, since im just a noob to UE. I doubt is plug and play, but would you say that someone with very lil experience with UE could use this?

      That’s a great question - there are definitely parts that can be plugged and played, however the plug-in as a whole is more of a “multiplier”. So if the more experienced you are, the more crazy stuff you’ll be able to do

      Getting it all set up is very simple, but creating your own effects requires some material graph/shader knowledge

    could this work for vehicles say a ship? in terms of any and all interactions with water?

    Would the water interactions work with Fluid Flux coastlines for instance?

      As long as the water meshes can draw to the RVT, it should work fine :)

    I think recall that the plugin doesn't work on multiple levels/stories of a building, but do you think it would be fine to use in a first or third person if everything takes place at ground level?

      Hello hello - I’ll need a bit more info. Engine version? And have you tried debugging the effect by plugging it in to the base colour of the grass to make sure it’s being read properly?

    Just take my money. Where can I find the video of the style file. I doubled the resolution. But the spread of the wind seems to become a square. Adjusting the style file seems to return it to a circle. But there are still some problems. How should I set it? .And will nanite be supported in the future? After turning on nanite.My landscape vegetation went crazy. They were flying everywhere XD.

      Yessir - there will be an update soon for compatibility (just need to test in 5.5) and then another content update (rivers/water expansion) if they've fixed some bugs with Nanite/RVTs!

    would be insane to get it to replicate for tps/fps multiplayer shooters. But I guess it is nearly impossible, even bigger studios struggle with it.

      It doesn't need to replicate at all - it all runs client-side :) Many users have been using it in their multiplayer projects without any issues

    just curious, why is it excluseviely for 5.3+? what makes is unable to work on 5.2?

      I believe "Sample RVT" was added in 5.3, or some other function I can't remember. I can try and compile it for 5.2, it might work

    neat, but now that i think of it, dont you plan on selling, perchance, prismatica fighting system as well?health, injuries, weapon swinging, weapon hitting, weapon hit reactions, armors degrading, weapons generating hits on characters, arrows getting stuck in wood/bouncing off stone...
    you know the good shit that comes with responsive combat :)

      but wait, does that means prismatica is not happening? What happened? What did you got snagged on? Overall story? Narrative? Because, from what i have seen in the vlogs, mechanically you have it down neatly

      @@Drakuba It's still happening, it just means people will be able to see all of the inner-workings and code and use it/learn from it for their own projects, as well as contribute systems/assets to the project. Obviously there will be some legal/IP agreements that they'll need to agree to before getting access and I'll still be selling it as a game for the general public

      Yes - if you can get normal WPO working with Nanite foliage then this will work just fine :)
