Correct! I'm not a fan of scotch either...both the mezcal and scotch share some similarities in their flavor profile that I don't find all that appealing. The smoky, peaty, leathery aspects just don't work for me, and I've tried. I've had a couple cocktails made with mezcal that I can get into but we used a really mild 'gringo' mezcal. I have been forcing myself to be more open with mezcals, but it has been a struggle. Thanks for watching!

Great shot! Small FYI ... tequila is mezcal. All tequila is mezcal, but not all mezcal is tequila. It's similar to how Scotch is a subset of whiskey.
