Our VRF Grab Bags (GB) videos are compiled from content from our cameras as Mods and fans spot something neat while watching our cameras. In the GB you will, of course, find a variety of TRAIN content, special trains, maintenance, steam, diesels, interesting rail cars, cool paint schemes and more. You will also find fun people, city events, boats, planes, cars (sometimes going wild) and nature. Thank you for taking the time to sit back and enjoy these highlight reels that we call "Grab Bags"!
We were told the oversized item was a special equipment move for Wever Fertilizer.
That's what they told them Revenooers, too😉
Funny: sign says "Portugal" but equipment had Swiss text on it...
What would "Granny" from "The Beverly Hillbillies" have given for a still of that size?
Kind of looked like a huge septic tank
One thing about it it’s going by truck.
"Come for the trains stay for the gas leak" - virtual railfan
Gas leak? Does anyone have a match
@@DavidUrban-y3cthankfully for the neighbours of that place, no one had a lighter.
Thankfully Loram was not grinding rail across the street!
@@raeward8092 I'm glad I wasn't up there because I'm eating toco bell
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains in multiple locations, especially 2 adorable deers in Deshler, Ohio, Loram, railgrinder, in Elkhart, Indiana, 4 electric transformers in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and so much more, @Virtual Railfan, thank you very much and have a wonderful week.
I liked seeing the deer, but it has me wondering how many get killed on the tracks each year? I know that there tend to be a few fatalities on highways, especially on the TransCanada Highway route, so assume that a few deer get hit by trains each year?

Loved "Grit, Heart, Drive" and the launch really rocked--another great one!!
Gotta love those first stage landing burns!
That's one BIG pressure cooker!
Good shot of the launch..And the items that we see coming off it , Were the capsule payload doors..Which will be recoverd and used again..it also shows the stage 1 returning , again for reuse. may be 15+ launches on that...
2:21, Wow! Now that is a big load!
12:43 That Lehigh Valley heritage loco is my favorite of the bunch!
UP patch ex-SP 6318 @ 4:18...28 (!) years after the merger, still in original paint. A 'True' heritage unit. BNSF has a few like that as well, kudos to the railroads who embrace their past without interference of the paint shop... 🤘
Hi Virtual Railfan & it's is Randy and i like yours video is Cool & Thanks Virtual Railfan & Friends Randy
Cool grab bag from VR
THE OVERSIZED LOAD looks a septic tank for the Jolly Green Giant!
Pressure vessel for either a ethanol plant or an oil refinery.
Evidently it was owned by “Wever Fertilizer” (according to the pinned comment) so it’s probably for the production of chemical fertilizers or pesticides for agricultural use
Nice looking NS GE, nice paint scheme and video!🛤🚂
Awesome grab bag and what they were moving in ft Madison was cool and I like the race between the freight train and amtrak train
Good to see 'Illinois Terminal' again at Elkhart, thanks VRF.
0:25 the EXACT model & number too!
2:37 now you know why I like the word OVERSIZE pluralized with a D on the end
as in OVERSIZED LOAD! if I was a truck driver all my signs would be spelled with a D! =P
I note by the company letters painted on the surface that this oversized item was manufactured in Germany; it has travelled a long way already!
Thanks for the catches 🎉
Great episode. Thank you
Four apparently identical transformer tanks westbound around the Curve at 09:02. The retired electrical engineer that I am wonders from where they came, and where they are heading.
0:10 WOW! Delaware And Lackawanna 1804 is an ALCO RS11 originally built in 1956 for the Duluth, Winnipeg, and Pacific railroad
0:30 UP 1989
1:39 I thought that was an old house a first, but nope it's giant storage tank pieces made by Arsopi of Portugal
4:16 SP gray leading!
4:38 NS 1072 leading
4:58 ALC42 sounding its horn through Ashland with a P42 behind it
5:29 CPKC 9375 and a KCSM GEVO
6:07 wave from the front door of a 7-unit lash-up (one of them is a slug)
6:48 green and white switcher from S&S leasing (SSRX)
7:08 NS 4822 "Moving the Weight Of The World" which was recently revealed in Altoona
7:35 MRL SD70ACe
8:33 NS, KCSM gray, and CP red triple-heading
8:50 transformers and old boxcars over horseshoe curve
9:55 Revelstoke Fire & Rescue engine 1 responding to a gas leak. Does Canada have "call before you dig" laws like the US does? It's where the utilities have to be marked before you dig into the ground or plant trees
11:20 small Loram grinder at work, followed by the large one
13:16 Patrick Henry private cars
*Awesome Catches*
nice catches!
Wow Loved Thanks VRF ❤
That over size load reminds me of the three story house they moved one night in 1990..Wow.
Great to see 4822 - only wish you could see the American Flag on top in the shape of the NS horse head logo!
The CPKC paint scheme looks nice.
Firstly ALCo is cool
Maybe it's heading to Scranton for maintenance, as it's owned by Genesee Valley Transportation.
@@maynardcarmer3148 On it's way to the Falls Road in Lockport, according to another video.
@claytonkillenbeck1102
The Falls Road is where it normally operates- between Niagara Falls and Brockport. I see it there all the time. But it is eastbound on CSX in the video and the most likely destination is Scranton, where GVT has their main facility.
Those DL ALCO’s are so nice looking. Always cool to see them!
That is the business I am in I have two of those Hoffers with all wheel steering .
Like this one very much impressed with this one
My brother came to ask why he could hear sirens, I was watching Revy live at the time!
He / she has been very elusive.😢
10:42 Call Before you Dig!
6:53 Correction: The reporting mark is labeled for S&S Shortline Leasing, a locomotive leaser based out of Farmington, UT
Did anyone else notice that the CPKC scheme lines up with the CN one?
WOW NS 4822!
That beautiful RS11 at the start! Delaware Lackawanna likes their ALCOs, I wonder why it’s moving?
It's a shame that the little park at Fort Madison was tore out.
Now there's some heavy metal
That Southern Pacific engine can use a paint job
Oh deer😮😂❤
What was that giant tank thing, and where was it going?

We were told the oversized item was a special equipment move for Wever Fertilizer.
Virtual Railfan, has anyone given you any spots for Utah at all?
Sorta missing out with no spots where I am.
Should have used Telstar by the Ventures for the SpaceX launch😁😁😁😁
7:13, NS 4822! Moving the weight of the world!
If only if I was there from Friday
Be waving at Altoona, Pennsylvania
1:54 - That is probably “A MIXING TANK” for “SOLUTION”…..
2:29 - The “PIPING” is “HEAVY DUTY” heated solution mixing tank……
🦌

A Mega Still?
Darth Vader trail’s on a NS intermodal train
Oversize Load Truck
Who else actually likes NS 4822? I sure do!
2:20 I would’ve taken it by rail
Not often do we get to see the fairings come back down during any rocket launches.
7:13 I really don't need such a big loco on the layout, however... NS 4822, should you become a nscale model...

Oversized load
A large portajohn on Fort Madision?
I videoed NS 4822 through Duluth, GA, on 6-14-24 for my TH-cam channel. It was the 3rd unit, just like at Cordele. Hope it will lead when it returns northbound.
Virtual Railfan is my favorite place for watching trains and thanks
for showing trains and everything that is train related thank you.
