Dimash's arrangement of this was influenced by two things: his desire to perform in a neoclassical style and his need to do well in the competition. Dimash specifically wanted to combine elements of classic bel canto tradition with pop music. He realizes that it makes him different but it is what inspires him (he confirms this in practically every interview). For this particular show it is a competition for singers and it is expected that they will put their own spin on songs by others (they can sing a max of two of their own songs). The show producers also make it clear if they want to do well with the voting audience they need to bring them to their feet through vocals and stage presence.
The more you listen to it the more it grows on you, the same with 'Hello' and 'All By Myself', so enjoy

А разве рок группы не исполняли баллад. Да это баллада, но в стиле рок. Я занималась этим в своё время, поэтому могу так рассуждать.
Я слушала интервью Димаша после исполнения этой песни. Он был недоволен тем, как выступил. После второго тура его вызвал министр культуры Казахстана. Целую неделю он вынужден был не готовиться к третьему туру, к исполнению этой песни, а заниматься мероприятиями чиновников. Димаша вызвали ещё раз после седьмого тура чиновники. И перед восьмым туром ему делали уколы в горло, потому что голос пропал. Деловые чиновники не собираются понимать усталости от перелётов, нервных напряжений певца. Им нужно себя показать

Thanks so much for this. Singer was in 2017 & he has been studying Mandarin & English & dance & is so much better now. For Singer non English songs have stories & performance with subtitles on channel Gloria Wu & next in line Is Mandarin Autumn Strong & episode 8 is Mandarin Daybreak. PLEASE use back story & song with subtitles for both. I am an emotional woman who after watching story & words can't stop crying every time but you are a strong man so I don't expect you to cry but both stories are very important. PLEASE FOR BOTH SONGS. 🎶👱♀️😃💓

Next on Singer 2017 in episode 4, is Late Autumn/Autumn Strong. Gloria Wu’s version is strongly recommended, as not only does it explain the story behind, but also gives English subtitles (nor is there a problem with copyright strikes, as she is a Dimash Dear, I believe!)

He was a "black horse" for the "Singer" show and the youngest contestant, nevertheless he was awarded the second place and has immediately got a contract with the chinese producers. For the past 2 years he was impressively awarded many times and triumphantly held solo D-Dynasty concerts in China. At the American Music Awards, "Hollywood Music in Media Awards" the song "Moonlight Over the Sea" he performed was recognized as the best soundtrack to the original video game. I hope one day you listen to the song and share your opinion with us. Thank you for your honest reactions to Dimash.

Возможно, я не права, что предположу, что у него несколько в другом направлении от рока интерес к пению. Это было его конкурсное исполнение, где нужно было показать большой спектр вокальных возможностей, а не то, что больше нравится. И давалось на выучивание песни на языке которого он не знает и репетицию, очень мало времени. По сути, его исполнение всех песен на разных языках на этом конкурсе в Китае, с минимальным количеством времени на изучение и репетиции - героизм. Остальные участники пели на английском и китайском языках, которые хорошо знали, Димаш эти языки совсем не знал. Для него этот конкурс был тяжёлым испытанием. Песню "Daybreak" он исполнил на китайском языке, больным, с высокой температурой. На Ютьюбе можно найти ролик на эту тему. Как Димаша водили к врачу и врач делал ему укол прямо в горло. Потом он говорил своим фанатам, что петь в таком состоянии он не советует никому, это опасно для голосовых связок, но ему легко было петь при разогретых от высокой температуры голосовых связках. Посмотрите, как он эту же песню исполняет в Бастау. Этот конкурс для очень серьёзных и уже зрелых певцов. Димаш был самым молодым участником, из чужой страны. И то, как он сразу изумил всех своим выступлением, и сразу завоевал сердца зрителей, сделав их своими преданными фанатами, говорит о многом. Я надеюсь, что ваш профессиональный интерес к Димашу не пройдёт, ведь он только начал набирать силу. Каждое его новое исполнение не оставляет равнодушным никого, особенно того, кто понимает в вокале. Great reactiom. The heartbeat at the beginning seems to be a count down to the performance. I've seen some of the others and it's there for all. He's 6'3" so when he drops to his knees he's channeling the pain to get the high notes :D. In a competition I think the contestants have to show off a bit to make an impact.

Somebody said that Brian May was shown this, and he liked it. For the next episode #4 "Autumn Strong", it's good to use the videos from Gloria Wu's Y.T. channel, not just for the English subs, but also for the short intro which goes into the background of the song. This is also recommended for Ep.7 "Daididau", and especially Ep.8, which not only describes the tragic backstory, but also the situation Dimash found himself in when he lost his voice the day before he had to sing.
The problem with that version of Autumn Strong is that it has the wrong pitch, though.
@@evandarianmai9753 I just think that for a first time listen, the emotional impact of knowing the story behind the song, and Dimash's worries about singing in Chinese, which are in Gloria's introduction would outweigh what might be lost by the song being a semi-tone lower. It still ranks as one of the most beautiful things he has done. Of course the ideal solution would be to watch Gloria Wu's intro, and then switch to the other - but I think that's to much to ask a reactor to do. The other factor is that Gloria's version was posted in Sept. of 2017. What would have happened to it to change the pitch between then and now ? The other "Meanwhile In China" version came out in Feb. of 2018 and is a semi-tone higher. I think that it is more likely that that version was copied on a machine with a speed which raised the pitch, and that nothing was done to Gloria's version, which is the one being blamed for being incorrect. I guess one way to find out would be to find a good shot of the keyboard player's fingers, and see if the keys he was playing corresponded to what we were hearing. Anyway I think Gloria Wu's version sounds fine, and it might actually be the correct one anyway. I don't play keyboards, but that would end the controversy if it were possible. PS- I just checked the London Concert, and that is in the higher key, so my theory is probably wrong, but I still think that having the story is important for a first impression.

Димаш - это самонастраивающаяся, саморегулируюшаяся и самоизбирательная вокал-машина универсального диапазона. При такой скорости сценического развития Димаш через десяток лет придет к совершенству во многих стилях! Но сегодня мы видим прекрасного художника, открывающего для нас новые музыкальные горизонты. И неважно ни произношение, ни качество расшепления - гораздо важней донести до слушателя смысл исполняемой песни. Такое ощущение, что Димаш берёт песню, как заготовку, пусть даже это супер хит вроде Show Must Go On, а потом обтачивает её по-своему, чтобы получить другой шедевр!!! Сегодня Димаш становится профессионалом в неоклассике ( по-другому, кроссовер), хотя на этой полке уже достаточно профессиональных исполнителей с классическим академическим образованием из Китая и Казакстана. Но Димаш - первый!!!!

The high run he does just after the guitarist came one and before "my soul is painted" was imitating the guitar from the original. 👍👍👍😊

Next episode is Autumn Strong, one of his all time best performances, you can check out Gloria Wu Dimash channel for translation of the backstory and the song. Dimash performed a duet Queen medley/tribute with Super Vocal Boys on 2019 Singer show. It was out of the world rocking great, Dimash could be a huge rock star if he wanted. You will have to find that performance on FB, Viemo or v.qq.com because YT still has it blocked for no reason. Other TH-camrs reacted to the performance without any problem. Enjoy!

Гений высоких нот и не более. Из шикарной песни сделал одноразовую жвачку. Фредди Меркьюри не орал и песню хочется слушать еще много раз, а это раз послушал и больше не тянет. Исполнеие любой песни этим мальчиком настолько предсказуемо, что кажется слушаешь одну песню.

скорополительным решением. С такими вокальными данными и способностью брать высокие ноты, существуют десятки исполнителей, но их отличает от Димаша лишь то, что в их раскрутку не вбухали такую кучу денег, как в его. Это всего лишь моё мнение.

Я тоже переживаю за его колени, но надеюсь, что занятия таеквандо не даром прошли ( правильно написала таеквандо? не знаю). Думаю, что Фредди не разочаровался бы этим исполнением и в суд на Димаша не подал бы.(Он ведь не Пудовкин, хи-хи-хи). Мне очень понравилось выступление Димаша, хотя ему самому не очень, самокритика на высоте.

In my view,Dimash did a real great job in covering Queen's song.I heard that Dimash was required to sing this number with only one-week practice.Dimash just speaks Kazakh and Russian.Howeverhis pronunciation didn't spoil the singing techniques and vocal ability.Moreover his stage presence is so thrilling and captivating.Just love Dimash..!!❤❤

If you watch others like Hua Chenyu when he was in the singer or even Lion, the group they keep showing during the video, you will get the heartbeat sound. Late Autumn!! you will want to see the introduction of the song too, Gloria Wu is good with that. Also, I would like to say thank you for giving us your time to make these.
