Pro tip: Learn Japanese if you're serious about dating a Japanese person 🙂 It's impossible to learn the language without also absorbing part of the culture as well.
I am married to a Vietnamese woman. I am from Puerto Rico. If you truly love someone....you will learn from each other.....and pretty much nothing they do will be a bother. If there is something that bothers you about your girlfriend or boyfriend....you teach each other. And adapt and make adjustments. Is not hard. My wife taught me no kissing in public. haha. But I taught her that is okay to hold hands. And sometimes holds hands and walk very close to each other. Almost like a wrap around hand holding. This was before marriage. Now it's all okay...except the kissing in public part. haha. If you love someone..you just want to be with them. No matter what.
Very spot on video. The best way to explain Christmas to Japanese people is to tell them it’s like oshougatsu (January 1st), it’s a family affair. And the other way round (from a Japanese point of view) it’s to explain that Christmas Eve in Japan is like Valentine’s Day. My husband is Japanese,I’m French, and we live in Japan but I make sure to celebrate Christmas the French way : on Christmas Eve, always at home, with beautiful decorations and lovely food (and we open our presents at midnight). It took him years to get used to it but now he expects it 😅 And NO Kentucky Fried chicken (yes, it is a thing on Xmas Eve in Japan 😳)
If you're going to date a Japanese women, make sure you meet her in Japan. A lot of guys have met girls in their home country and dated for years sometimes, before moving with them to Japan and all of a sudden found themselves in a relationship with a person they don't recognize anymore (once they go back into "Japan mode"). At least if you meet in Japan you already know what you're getting yourself into (kind of).
Still doesn’t work in the case of (most) Japanese. Most of them change RADICALLY after they have kids. More so than in other cultures. Otherwise it seems like solid advice ;)

Japanese females are still female. If you date a Japanese woman, you need to have a Sigma mindset and you have to WANT the relationship, but NEVER NEED the relationship. No woman on Earth is worth being in a negative situation. No matter who they are, if they are creating unhappiness and refuse to address and change it, you leave that female.@@maegalroammis6020
Do you think it's stressful to be in a society that requires consistent conformity to the societal pressure? Do you think the younger Japanese prefer to express themselves individually or continue with the traditional conformity?
For me, it’s very stressful. I always felt out of place at school. And I couldn’t keep up with Japanese job hunting. So I decided to stay at uni and then took a year off!😅 Of course there are young Japanese people who can’t stand the atmosphere where everyone has to be the same just like me, but I feel like there are so many more people who try not to stand out among the rest and try to be “normal”
@@maegalroammis6020 depends where you are in Japan. Tokyo is a big no. Try going to Osaka, Okinawa, Fukuoka and other cities your experience will be different.
It's much better to introduce your partner to your parents when you're considering marriage. Otherwise, usually parents get involved and complicate your relationship early from the beginning
@@maegalroammis6020 not every Japanese person is like that, and while it's true that they hide their true feelings, it's often done to be polite and to avoid conflict
Hi, I’m from California and the way I was raised, it was always “ladies first”. I find that many American women are surprised by simple gestures such as opening a door for them or letting them pass by first, or waiting for the lady to order first at a restaurant. I think that women from any culture appreciates this kind of treatment. Thanks for the great video, you are a stunningly beautiful young woman. 🙂
@@syedhasan4572 Thanks for letting me know I have been brainwashed. By the way, I am half Japanese, I have been stationed in Japan for 3 years while in the USAF and grew up in Hawaii, I have had many girlfriends of different ethnicities. All I said was factual that the Japanese girls in Hawaii are better than in Japan. My Japanese mother agrees with me. So maybe blame my mother for that Lol!
I think cleanliness is not just about personal, its also about the surrounding, your home, how you take care of your home, clean and neat, how you view the neatness and cleanliness of your home tells a lot about your personality
I'm from the US and my best friend/my everything is from Japan, I believe she's from Nagoyashi and we've been so close for these past several years. I really want to know everything about Japanese culture, proper etiquette and eventually how to speak the language because she is so precious to me and I want to be as respectful as I possibly can. One thing she told me that stood out the most is that when she was kind of sick, she went out and got a haircut at a salon. I asked her why she didn't just cancel and she told me that in Japanese culture it is considered rude to cancel a hairdresser appointment. I didn't know this before, that's very interesting to me and I can definitely understand this! Thank you so much for this amazing video. Learning Japanese is definitely a challenge for me it's just so different from any other language and you can not cut corners when it comes to Kanji (as I learned the hard way lol) though I'm very excited and eager to learn! 🇺🇲🤝🇯🇵
I can't really agree with this. After I started going out with my first Japanese gf in Japan, I saw her parents regularly, maybe once a week. I sometimes had dinner and drank with them. I also went to their house a few times a month. After my gf and I had been dating a few months, I even slept over at their house. She used to come to my apartment and sleep over all the time while living with her parents. They obviously knew she was sleeping with me. That relationship lasted about 5 years. My second gf introduced me to her parents basically as soon as we started dating. WIthout even having dated long, Christmas and the New Year were approaching. She invited me to stay at her (parents') house for the New Year holiday. I slept over for a few nights, spending a few days with her and her family. Once, when her parents went out, we had sex in her room. The strange thing though was that she was very concerned about her curfew. She would visit me in my apartment on the weekend, but she would always leave before it got too late. I would sometimes ask her to stay the night, but she always refused. Only one time did she actually sleep over. She lied to her parents, saying she was at a friend's place for a party that went too late, so she missed the train. However, we did take a couple of short holidays together, staying in hotels for a couple nights each trip, and she said her parents wouldn't mind about that. That relationship only lasted a few months. My third, and last Japanese gf lived on her own and her parents lived in a different part of Japan. We just started dating, then I left to return to my native country. We had a long distance relationship for a very long time. I came back to Japan for a while and we saw each other, but I never met her parents or sibling. After we had been going out for about 6 years, her grandfather died. I asked if I could go with her to the funeral and she was really shocked. She refused, and I was sad. She was surprised that I was sad. We broke up too. Anyway, those were my experiences regarding meeting family.
Wtf The subject here is normal girls. The ones you meet don't seem like normal girls at all. If only you had sex in front of her family.Even a couple from Europe and the USA won't do what you do😂😂
Sorry to hear about your relationships, I guess not all of them do work out for japanese and foreigners then because of cultural differences and beliefs
seven reasons why japanese doesn't make good friends AT ALL, why none/few of them are trustworthy in fact: first, they makes zero efforts to speak other languages and anyway when we try to speak japanese they laugh at our accents and they don't forgive bad pronounciations secondly, they refuse to show their feelings no matter how polite, kind and respectful we are. just because they refuse to put us in their friendship circle for some reason (in fact it's only when they get drunk, it's shamful) thirdly, they love to criticize the others in their back. they judge them without knowing them, they don't give us any chance. they don't tell our mistakes, how can we improve ourselves. fourthly , they feel the horriblenot human need to have many close little friends. Fiftly, they take foreigners like walking dictionnaries/wallets sixth, even if they do have many cultural flaws, and assume bad things about foreigners they still minds about being criticized for some reason while we do it for a reason sevently, they judge easily on our appearances while it's not our fault if we're build like that. "buuuuh tall or older foreigners=bad people cause we live in a island" i like japan, for what it has naturally, but i do not get why its locals are so well seen in the world. NO NEED TO reply me with bad faith comments like nyeh theres ppl like them everywhere in da world"
Hi Layla, you mentioned that being skinny or thin is important for Japanese girls. Can you share what you typically eat in a day and on weekends? Do you also have cheat days?
7:22 If you are used to the smell you won’t smell it but for a foreigner Japanese people usually smell like soy sauce cuz (I guess that Japanese diet contains a lot of soy sauce, I don’t really know how much they consume it though)
Haha. You are just like my wife. Tip to guys 1. groom yourself well. We are talking nose hair, body odor, clothing, hair. You want that clean vibe. Even now, I take a shower the first thing I get home, before I hug her. 2. Be verbally affectionate. She will never say love or even like, but she loves it when you do. Blast her with verbal affection, be as corny as possible. 3. Be decisive. She tends to overthink when it comes dating. This coupled with general lack of display of affection makes it difficult. So you can't be the same way. If she is it, make it happen.
You mention on being decisive. I will chime in on this. I had lived in Asia for 11 1/2 years, and in general , you as the male have to be decisive with things, even if the ideas are not the best - such as what to eat, where to go on holiday, etc.
The intersting thing is, I think Japanese women who are open to dating foreigners, already expect the foreigner not to act by Japanese dating standards. They can throw all their conventional thinking out the window if they wanted to, knowing that the person they are in a relationship with is more open to atypical behavior. For example, the women I've dated while living in Japan didn't mind PDA (nothing crazy, of course), I've met their parents, their friends (within a few weeks).. but of course, it always depends on the person and the situation. Concering #3, I have a hard time getting my girlfriend to exercise, since it's not just about diet. She's not overweight, but I believe the older we get, the more it's important to have muscle mass. Is it rare for Japanese women to enjoy exercise? Thanks for the video!
No, Japanese people do not smell like soy sauce! 🤣 When I lived in Tokyo, I was surprised that people were not smelly, even on packed trains. Japanese ladies are lovely, but they are different from American girls, for sure. It took me a while to realize that they show love in different, more subtle ways than Americans. There's something more meaningful about that. They aren't throwing the word "love" around casually, so when you realize they do have love for you, it's an authentic emotion, not just a word. Thank you for the interesting video!
The part about Christmas was fascinating. In the U.S. It's usually family and your partner in you are in a serious relationship. Christmas Eve, though is often the date night reguardless.
the whole "ladies first" is always about putting your date/wife/loved one first, giving them priority because you want what's best for them and to show them how important they are to you. Also a man is supposed to stand when a lady enters/exits a room and sit after the lady sits and should a lady leave a table to use the rest room a man is also supposed to stand when they leave and return and wait until the lady has returned to finish her meal even if the guys food gets cold.
I was lucky to meet a cool girl who didn't worry about eating too much and wasn't scared of my perfume and body hair haha. Though she said that she often felt like a Japanese alien 😥 another time I asked some girl friends of mine what they thought about feminism but they didn't even know what it was! That was so crazy to me. Sometime it seems rough to be a Japanese girl. Great video, I love to hear your opinions and experiences about such topics! You have a lovely personality. Couple / dating activities would be an interesting topic as well. Japanese don't really go for coffee dates and romantic beach walks, right?
Thank you very much!!✨ I often felt like I was out of place in school as well. But now I have found my English boyfriend who gets me really well!☺️ Now I don’t really care what other Japanese people think about me. I know! I think there are many Japanese people who are not consious of social issues like that at all. I think that’s mainly because Japan doesn’t have so many beautiful beaches! ( Usually beautiful beaches will be so crowded in summer and won't be as romantic) I know many Japanese couples go to Starbucks to drink coffee! haha
@@BitesizeJapanese1 aw you already have a bf :( just kidding congrats he is a lucky guy. I already dating a japanese girl , I got lucky as well but there are challenges but the benefits outweigh those :)
@@BitesizeJapanese1 I think you can never please everyone. Everyone has different demands. Person A thinks you're great, person B doesn't. Then person B says, how about if you do this and then person A doesn't like you anymore. ^^ Best answer stay as you are. Take care of yourself. I don't know how it looks in Japan with freedoms, because if you read every wish from the lips, you can also constrict someone. Faith for everyone it is important to be able to develop in any imagination. @Arteris Dewberry has written something similar.
Feminism destroyed western countries that's why you came to Japan looking for an actual woman cause your country they act like men, don't want to get married don't need a man thanks to feminism. I don't know what you mean by Japanese women are pressured, no one on earth is pressured. In fact, in Japan its men who work hard and have to do everything.
Feminism is too vague to be universal. Feminists can’t even agree on it. Culture/tradition can be perceived as anti-feminist even if it’s desired by those who practice it.
Being a Filipino, it's quite normal for men to treat women with care. Let them enter an establishment first, and assist them if need help. If you ride the train in Manila, there are areas dedicated for Women and elderly (usually at the front). But now, "equality" culture slowly replacing it.
I'm most impressed with everything I've heard and seen in your video. Before anything else, you are gorgeous; you speak in an interesting, relaxed, and convincing manner; your pronunciation is flawless; you dress nicely; you give really helpful information about the subject at hand; your eyes sparkle; and your smile is captivating. Cheeres and best wishes to you from Belgrade, Serbia!
2:41 Honestly I hope that WON'T disappear. I think it's good that japanese girls (and guys should too) are more conscious about gaining weight. Here in the west people are just waaaay too loose on eating. We have a huge problem with overweight people (especially in the US), to the point where it can be considered a widespread disease. "Oh I don't have time to cook", "But McDonalds is so tasty!", "Prepared food is so conconvenient", etc. People just stuff their faces with unhealthy stuff, it's disgusting. Please do NOT import this culture to Japan. And yes, I'm aware that you can also overdo it and become underweight. But when you look at how many people are underweight and how many people are overweight, then overweight is obviously the far bigger problem these days.
First thing, I think you are adorable. I liked your video and for those of us who are not very familiar with Japanese Culture, it is very insightful. Interesting fact about how Christmas is celebrated in Japan by Couples going out on the town. Thank you for sharing.
Your advice is insightful and practical. How men cannot treat someone as lovely and sweet as you as anything less than a princess is beyond me. I assume a foreigner would be expected to speak somewhat fluent Japanese to be successful in dating. Could you do a video on communication? What topics should be avoided? Which are good 'icebreakers' or conversation starters?
Thank you for such an honest review of Japanese cullture. I would love to return to Japan! Would it be accurate to say that the Japanese people are very 'self-concious'? My impression is that the Japanese people are under a lot of pressure to perform well. Some countries have a strong patrarchal culture as well as a 'shame based culture'. Would you consider Japan to fall into that category? I find myself wanting to say to a few of my Japanese friends as well as a Japanese sister -in -law , 'Relax'. You are loved and accepted. Be gentle on yourself.' I have loved my trips to Japan. There are many wonderful things about the Japanese culture! And, you do such a wonderul job with your presentations and teaching! You are an excellent ambassador for Japan! Cheers!
I really thought the number one would be about cleanliness and hygiene. Japanese culture is mostly about being clean neat and tidy, organised and very particular about minimalistic
1:19 My biggest worry about dating a Japanese girl is how her parents might feel about it. You see, I'm from outside Japan (I'm British), and I'm also autistic.
This video is laid out like Luffy's gear system. Gear First, Gear Second, Gear Third, Gear Fourth: Smell, Gear Fourth: Clothes, Gear Fourth: Hair Style, And of some reason there's another one, Gear Fourth: Body Hair, and finally Gear Fifth
She's says this yet there's literally thousands of videos of Japanese girls and some women showing a lot of affection towards their bf or husband, especially in public.
Been dating my jp girlfriend for 4 years. Just checking the comments to see how many single men desperate to marry a japanese 🤣 bro they are certified weeb. Just an advice, japanese people won't like you if the only reason you like Japan is because of "anime" I don't speak from experience because I'm not a weeb 🤫🥱. That's also when I first met my girlfriend in an unfortunate turn of events.
What kind of "event" ?? How come she interested in you? Do you know japanese language? What's the restaurant name? I'll be sure to drop off by sometime You're younger than me but you already had a girlfriend so im feeling envious of you 😂😅
@@rain-gt8cu It's a very looong story, but I wouldn't mind telling it. It was night time in Kabukicho. No, I don't have any ill intention of going there, I was just exploring... It's my first time in Japan so I use most of my free time visiting places. I was just walking and minding my own business then a group of 4 girl came to me. They look nervous and scared. I ask them what's wrong but I don't think they know english (Idk japanese language so it became awkward lmao) they keep saying "save us" but I legit don't know from who and what. I saw 2 japanese guy chasing after them but they tried to act like they weren't when I look at them. I need confirmation if they are really going for the girls, so I took out my phone and ask the girl for selfies (while walking forward) and I was right the 2 guy were following us but slowly so they don't get caught (brilliant move by me ngl) but I really don't know what to do 🤣 fight them? Nope. I don't want to start a ruckus. So I told them to just follow me and after some walk intense moment we reached the police station. Those guy don't have the ball to come to us 🤣 I stayed until a taxi came to pick up them, that's where we parted our way but one of the girl asked me for my number, I don't want to just give my number freely to strangers but she said when she have the time she wants to thank me properly. I'm an introvert so it's hard to say "NO" mostly to women. Can't be helped so I just gave it to her. And you guessed it? that's right, the girl that asked for my number is my girlfriend 😂 I don't know why she's interested in me. We started dating for few months while I was in Japan but I have to go back to Singapore (my country) I mean I'm still a college student, what you expect? 😂 I was originally from US but my father remarried to a Malaysian woman from Singapore after my mother passed away. After finishing university I told my parents I want to live in Japan and they agreed to. The japanese dining owner that I mentioned said he also wanted me to work with him since he doesn't have any male children to take over the place, I secured a job straight right there😂 he even rent a whole apartment for me but I stopped him, don't wanna put burden on him. I told him my girlfriend said I could live with her in her place. I met her parents and they also fine with me living with their daughter. Man my parents-in-law are nice 🤣 her parents live somewhere else btw. So about me know japanese. Nope I don't but I'm still studying it until now...she taught me japanese I taught her english. I don't know if I should really say the name? It's not your everyday restaurant people going to. It's a teppanyaki that's all I could say. There's many teppanyaki place in Tokyo tho so goodluck finding me XD Tuff man but my girlfriend is the one who confessed to me 😂 im an introvert there's many stuff i can't do.

In the end, any foreigner who wants to date a Japanese woman must be aware of the fact he needs to choose an open minded Japanese woman, cuz you know, otherwise she will not date any men who is not Japanese, and I have seen that a lot of men who want to date Japanese women, forget their perspective matter too, and when you act like that, you may get in a relationship where one orders and the others obeys and that's a formula for the disaster. Also please, be aware of the fact that you should never hurry up and date the first Japanese women you meet, take your time and meet many Japanese women, the more you know the more knowledge will you have and the better will be your choice.

Quite amazing. No wonder I like Korea women so much better. Koreans are kinder and not as judgemental about others. I've dated both cultures for years, so I have the experience to speak on this. Finally, married a Korean woman. 20 yrs. 2 sons.
People always say "just be a White guy", but before I was taken off the market (once I got over the stigma attached to IR dating) but I've actually done better with Asian women than my own and other groups. Never had an issue. People watch too much tv qns and don't live in reality. If you're a decent person and know how to strike up a conversation without being creepy or overaggressive ( well, in America and Europe that depends on how attractive you are), you can do well with women from any group. It's mostly the men who have a problem, not the women.
A girl who you later on in life can benefit from your mastery of the language. It’s unfair to assume that anyone in the relationship should have to spend their time for advanced communications. Physical signals are always a plus for both when learning your partners manurisms.
❤❤❤hi ❤new follower today... I've known many different nationalities of women in my life, but I think Japanese women are one of a kind. Keep uploading the great work... mankind need you girls , now more than ever❤❤
I recently started seeing a Japanese girl, but she has lived here in America for 20 years. However, many of the things listed here still apply. She doesn't show affection, and I thought she just not interested. Not the case. She also smells good all the time and takes care of her body. Very clean too!
@6:25mins I think for the usage of perfume, it all depends on where u lived. I'm from Singapore, and u know our weather here is very hot and humid. So we tend to prespire alot more. Recently, i was in a public bus in Singapore, and there was this japanese lady who sat in front of me. I could smell her body odour. So maybe if she use a heavier perfume, then that might help. Nonetheless, very good video. Very informative 😊
@7:10: American guy here, studied Japanese in college, know a little something about the culture. I’ve never heard of Japanese people smelling like shoyu, lol, nor have I noticed any Japanese people smelling like that. Maybe it’s more an Asian impression of Japanese people :)
So I have this problem with smells, I ask for people to use less perfume and all, since where I come from some use way too much. I have allergies all the time and headaches too and when I learnt Japanese people have such a preference I got really happy xD
One of the reasons I like Japanese women is because most of them have natural beauty and they tend to be modest and humble. The woman I was with had a job that was more professional than mine yet she still enjoyed my company for quite some time. She would wash regularly, use a mild-scented fragrance, but never shaved. She was a bit of a tomboy, and still quite cute young looking by western standards. She loved sports like baseball and tennis and was quite knowledgeable. Men would often compliment her looks and ability when we played sports together. She was by far the coolest woman I ever dated. In private, she was very open about things, but in public it was almost the opposite and was it was like the things she mentioned in the video. Even when I visited Japan most of the women I met were quite humble and polite as well. If you are kind and polite to them, they will most likely reciprocate.
Regarding Christmas - I’m guessing Japan would be totally baffled by the Jewish tradition of getting Chinese food on Christmas. Simply because those are often the only restaurants open on Christmas, and Christians generally prefer to stay in with family. To be fair, that also seems strange to Midwesterners and others *not* from an area with a high Jewish population lol
As a Black man, I'm good with the "ladies first" mindset. I like how Japanese women actually see men like that. While American women don't like that mindset sometimes. I think dating in Japan will be better for me because a lot of American women are too stuck up and picky.
@@BitesizeJapanese1 Oh yes it is! Al ot of them are strong independent women. They usually don't like it when a man loves them too much or else it is a turn off. They even find nice guys who treat them well with respect are normally creepy. I don't get it. It's like we put our girlfriend's first. But many women in America don't like that.
@@KxmpleteKxllapse Dude I live in Amercia and I hung out with both American and Asian women. To be honest, I feel like Asian women are more better to express their true feelings than American woman. Many America women play too much mind games, and don't take relationship that seriously. Also Feminist is a big thing in America. That's why it's very hard to marry American woman over Asian women from Asia. Of course both sides aren't 100% true. I just feel way more connected with Asian women.
I really adore japanese culture. You do not care about latest fashion and perfumes that make you dizzy. We westerns are so brainwashed to think we need expensive perfumes, clothes and other things otherwise we cannot be happy. This is also making finding a "normal" girlfriend really hard.
It seems like a mistake to not introduce the person you are dating right away in Japan. I heard that parental consent is extremally important. Nearly all Japanese will not marry their lover if the parents do not approve.

So I decided to stay at uni and then took a year off!😅
Of course there are young Japanese people who can’t stand the atmosphere where everyone has to be the same just like me, but I feel like there are so many more people who try not to stand out among the rest and try to be “normal”

Not today's modern American women.
My understanding and observation is that American Men treat women more kindly than the Japanese men treat women in Japan. Am I wrong?

By the way, I am half Japanese, I have been stationed in Japan for 3 years while in the USAF and grew up in Hawaii, I have had many girlfriends of different ethnicities. I was thinking about dating with a Japanese girl before realizing Kanji exist.

This was super interesting! (Even for a straight girl🤭) thank you so much for the research and explanations!
Thank you very much!😆
I can't really agree with this.
How are you doing now?
seven reasons why japanese doesn't make good friends AT ALL, why none/few of them are trustworthy in fact:
first, they makes zero efforts to speak other languages and anyway when we try to speak japanese they laugh at our accents and they don't forgive bad pronounciations
secondly, they refuse to show their feelings no matter how polite, kind and respectful we are. just because they refuse to put us in their friendship circle for some reason (in fact it's only when they get drunk, it's shamful)
thirdly, they love to criticize the others in their back. they judge them without knowing them, they don't give us any chance. they don't tell our mistakes, how can we improve ourselves.
fourthly , they feel the horriblenot human need to have many close little friends.
Fiftly, they take foreigners like walking dictionnaries/wallets
sixth, even if they do have many cultural flaws, and assume bad things about foreigners they still minds about being criticized for some reason while we do it for a reason
sevently, they judge easily on our appearances while it's not our fault if we're build like that. "buuuuh tall or older foreigners=bad people cause we live in a island"
i like japan, for what it has naturally, but i do not get why its locals are so well seen in the world. NO NEED TO reply me with bad faith comments like nyeh theres ppl like them everywhere in da world"
Absolutely incorrect! I have lived in Japan for many years and this is bs! Sorry
Thanks!
NICE VIDEO. it will be helpful for me in future.
Haha. You are just like my wife. Tip to guys
1. groom yourself well.
Thank you for the information, It was very useful
Japanese women who go to the gym to stay slim goes too much in most cases. They get thin to such an extreme that they look like a dried squid 🦑
Also a man is supposed to stand when a lady enters/exits a room and sit after the lady sits
and should a lady leave a table to use the rest room a man is also supposed to stand when they leave and return and wait until the lady has returned to finish her meal even if the guys food gets cold.

But when you look at how many people are underweight and how many people are overweight, then overweight is obviously the far bigger problem these days.
but up to a point it's a good thing. The problem is; they obsessed with it
First thing, I think you are adorable. I liked your video and for those of us who are not very familiar with Japanese Culture, it is very insightful.

Your advice is insightful and practical. How men cannot treat someone as lovely and sweet as you as anything less than a princess is beyond me. This has to be one the prettiest girl i ever seen in my life
People always say "just be a White guy", but before I was taken off the market (once I got over the stigma attached to IR dating) but I've actually done better with Asian women than my own and other groups.
Universal truth, if she likes you, just be cool. Don't push. She will let you know when she's ready.
A girl who you later on in life can benefit from your mastery of the language. It’s unfair to assume that anyone in the relationship should have to spend their time for advanced communications. Physical signals are always a plus for both when learning your partners manurisms.

Who wanna go to Japan apart from me😁😁😁
@7:10: American guy here, studied Japanese in college, know a little something about the culture. I’ve never heard of Japanese people smelling like shoyu, lol, nor have I noticed any Japanese people smelling like that. Maybe it’s more an Asian impression of Japanese people :)
A japanese girl telling you the moon is beautiful is about the closest to an 'i love you' as you can get
So I have this problem with smells, I ask for people to use less perfume and all, since where I come from some use way too much. I have allergies all the time and headaches too and when I learnt Japanese people have such a preference I got really happy xD
😂 my perspective doing normal is good enough. Example brush teeth , shower, haircut, take care of self.
There is a video by a Japanese comedian why you should date/marry a Japanese woman.
I see! that’s interesting! Do you think that it’s because feminism is really popular in America?
@@BitesizeJapanese1 Oh yes it is! Al ot of them are strong independent women. They usually don't like it when a man loves them too much or else it is a turn off. They even find nice guys who treat them well with respect are normally creepy. I don't get it. It's like we put our girlfriend's first. But many women in America don't like that.
@@arterisdewberry9467 what women what u met that are like that tho? 👀
Seems to me many Japanese women are very modest and humble. Vanity and narcissism is a really bad trait in East Asian and/or Japanese culture.
What's funny is, for rule 4 that applies to all women not just Japanese ones.
So...if you don't hug and kiss, how you keep the relation going??
