- How to install a rear video camera on MQB / PQ platform tailgate / hatch / trunk button / handle replacement. Camera is by a company called Sinosmart.

@@laymandiyI also received and installed it. Now my screen goes black. You get 3 options to adjust the light color, but the screen remains black. It says parking camera not available now. Any idea what this could be due to?
Sounds like your video connection is either faulty or not in properly

You need to check the measurements of your existing boot handle. I selected mqb camera A for the saloon / hatchback install I did..
I tested my camera and ir work with no coding on a seat Leon 5f st 11/2015, but when i unmont and put everinsing stock the parkpilot stop working.. the sensor make sound but the image of the sensores note apear.. hope ir work again with the camera

Do you have to run rca leads etc or does it just use existing looms?

You need to measure your tailgate button and compare against the link.

You need to order the right one. Measure the dimensions of your exact handle and check the curves of the handle I used was MQB CAM A which fits Skoda Superb

Not this particular one there maybe other aftermarket solutions
hi, i installed this camera on my A3 but now when i turn off the car the mmi stays on. is it normal? could it be a coding issue?

Normally infotainment stays on even after car turns off but the screen should turn off as well after opening the door
