    Love my Pace 8 - I've had for only ~ 6 months. On runs > 10 miles, I'll ditch the 500mL bottles and just use my 2 L bladder. It's so comfortable, you do tend to forget it's there. Perfect for 50K distances.

    I been running around my home 🏡 n this quarantine so I can grab my water bottle from my steps. When the lockdown is over I’ll be on the roads. Before the lock down I was running 5-7km with no water break as after 7km I was done. Then during the lockdown , my range extended to 10-13km daily and one long day of 15km. Been taking a sip of water at 5K and 10k. When I’m on the road I won’t have my steps to keep my water since I’m not going to be running around the house. So a hydration vest might be something I would have to consider , since I’m doing these longer runs. Especially as I hope to be able to do a half marathon by the end of 2021.

    Excellent review, thank you! I've been using the Salomon Adv Skin 5 for years, and I'm ready for a change. The adjustments on the USWE look excellent. I'd like to get some feedback from anyone that's used a bladder with it. I'm shopping around for vests - can you recommend any others that I can compare this one to? Just bought this on your recommendation - question- if you use a bladder does it move as it empties? I'm used to have a loop at the top to fasten in the top of the bladder that I don't see on the Uswe pace?

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  ปีที่แล้ว

      I only put a bladder in it one time to test it and I didn't empty the whole thing! I usually just use it with soft flasks. Yeah, that could be an issue although I didn't think it was a problem at the time.

    This is clearly not made for women. The closure would go right across the breasts and that will then make it sit on the body incorrectly. Unfortunate manufacturers can make mens and womens shoes but can't make upper body vests/harnesses that fit correctly.

    • @its_Matt_B_
      @its_Matt_B_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m ashamed to say I hadn’t thought about it, but you’re 100% right! This closure system wouldn’t work with women’s anatomy! It is a shame! Check out some vests from Nathan and Salomon; they make specific women’s vests! 👊🏽
