@@jbortiz98true he doesn’t have the luxury of saying no but he also has been doing it all his life being an athlete and competing during Ramadan because he grew up in the states. The guys from overseas are from Muslim majority regions/countries so they probably aren’t used to it.

There’s no reason why they couldn’t put that Apex card on in Oslo for hermanson. People would come out for a UFC event anyway, plus you’d have a ‘local’ fighter. Just because that card wouldn’t sell out an arena in some no mark US city, doesn’t mean it wouldn’t sell outside. They just need one local fighter and an arena. Most cities in developed countries have an arena. Same goes for Rozenstruik. You could put that card in the Netherlands and it would be immediately better

I honestly think they stopped simply because it's too much work. Less travel, less red tape. Younger Dana would be livid.
The worst thing to happen to the UFC has been the ESPN deal. It’s gone directly down the drain. At a significant angle from the action and quality of matchups to production and decisions they’ve made in the commentator booth. It’s just declining steadily. Sure they will continue to sell but it is not as good as it was from 05-15, were the golden age of mma as far as ufc, WEC, pride, strikeforce

Referencing Dana on the Full Send podcast, he referenced possibly changing “everything we know” so I started to game out what that could mean, adding in the buzz around the 165 lb weight class as well as some rumored match ups, I think this would be the card that the fans want to see.

Around 39 min -I’m that fan, i watched every single UFC card from 2017 - 2020 from the early prelims until after the post show with Mike Heck. After that I’ve watched most main cards and have missed less then 10 because of work. Although I did miss a care entirely for the first time this year because I wanted to go out on a Saturday and the UFC is watered down so the card sucked

You can still have the Apex format but add a small crowd. $20 a pop. People unfamiliar with UFC will come to Vegas, check it out and decide if they like it.

37:38, I’ve got to disagree. I will be tuning in for fight night cards every time but I cannot motivate myself to stay up to a stupid hour to watch am Apex Card.
I would literally take a Belal main event over Izzy getting gifted an undeserved title shot. He has lost the belt twice over the span of a year. Feed him to Khamzat
Defended his belt 8 times. Held the belt for 4 years. Has history with the current 185 lb champion so there’s drama to be made. One of the losses he gained it back almost immediately. If DDP wins you get more drama with a Sean rematch and if Izzy wins you get drama with a Sean rematch. Sean’s one of the biggest stars right now and it looks he gets another chance regardless of the outcome. Also Izzy is one of the biggest stars so why wouldn’t he get some privileges? He lapped the division.
he has 5 defenses,... and the most overrrated reign ever the middleweight divsion was by far the worst division in the UFC Izzy never even fought 1 good wrestler which tells you how shitty MW was nowadays he wouldnt get more than 3.
