Got my new w/c two weeks ago it's so cool to see how much time and attention to detail when in to my Tilits w/c Washington to Tennessee it only took 5 days to get here. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Does that mean you can't get these outside of the US? Because I live in the EU And should get one of these so I hope I would not have to travel to the US Because of that
I've been looking over a half a dozen brochures for a new wheelchair for about a month (including this company). I had narrowed it down to TiLite and Invacare. This video (and related comments) have sealed the deal. This is where I am going to order. And it will support American manufacturing at the same time.
I was paralyzed chest down when I was 8 years old, and my seating specialist said that the “Ti Lite Twist” was the best youth chair on the market for users who wanted to remain athletic. I just turned 22 and still use that chair today! (I didn’t grow to be much bigger below my injury level) I can relate to Chelsea a lot, I never felt disabled growing up, I was able to play and hang with my twin sister who is extremely athletic
I was using an old quickie wheelchair when I got my first TiLite chair. I felt how solid it was, Much easier to push, Very light weight. And going over curbs, having to wheelie the front casters is a blast. When I have to do that, little kids are always loving to see that.
Thank you for this. My 3 year old just sat in the demo chair for the first time yesterday. It'll take 3-4 months to get his. But, in the 20 minutes he was in it he couldn't have been happier. It was his first time in one. Being out of the stroller and in control of his body was a beautiful sight to see. The day he gets his chair we are going in the back yard and have a funeral for the stroller in the form of a bon fire! ***He has CP and is able to walk. Walking is hard and exhausting. While he can do it he has little control over his body.
Great looking wheelchairs and love how in the video it was said we want the first thing people to see is the person not the chair. I have Spina Bifida and really appreciate seeing great companies making great products and hiring individuals who are in wheelchairs. Keep up the wonderful work.
I know this video is yrs old but I appreciate your hard work for making Tilite chairs after seeing this video. I just received mine a few weeks ago but my hangers/leg bars didn't meet up to par so I'm still waiting on them. Hopefully I'll get them in two weeks. I'm so looking forward to it because my older chair brought nothing but bad vibes.
I really like this video, it helps me 2 know who and how these chairs r made, & i just want 2 say thank you 2 all who makes these chair. thankkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk u.
I use google translator, I hope I can express it correctly, my name is Badr from Saudi Arabia, I like this chair and I will buy it soon, it has won my trust
I've had a couple TiLite wheelchairs, as well as a couple of other brands, in my thirty-four years with Spina Bifida. In fact, my current chair is a TiLite Aero T; and it's the most comfortable chair that I've ever sat in. I blame the Rep that I had at the time for not truly fitting me into my first TiLite, they seemed more interested in selling a product, rather than ensuring that the product fit the customer.
I'm due for a new chair. I'm considering something different besides the folding units I've always had. I'm still very active and I think a rigid frame might be easier to load into my car.
Love my Zra...and this was just an ex demo, not a brand new totally custom one! My friend who's thinking of getting a chair tried it and was stunned at how light and agile it is compared to the depot chairs she's used before.
as much as its light weight, pushing on a rim attached to a wheel is stone age.A simple two lever rachet,or one way clutch is about 40 percent more efficient. That with a light weight RC type electric drive chain, you have a wheel chair that can take you anywhere.I guess I will have to build it.
10 day assembly, 6 month delivery... There is definitely a disconnect there. But I'm sure it's more red tape with insurance than the manufacturer dragging its feet.
I'm thinking about getting a tilite whhelchair . I have bad arthritis in the lower part of my body. Instead tring to fight it to get around I figured I should look into a wheelchair . TIlite would be my choice over all of the others do to the lite weight the chairs are like the rigid tr and zr.
Hi, I'm from Indonesia, how do I get this product in Indonesia. Is it expensive. I don't have a lot of money. Help me really need a wheelchair. For 30 years I have never been out of the house. I beg I really need a wheelchair that is like yours.
Quien pudiera. lamentablemente mi obra social no me cubre algo de esta calidad, soy paraplejico l4. mi presupuesto no da para obtener algo asi en argentina .ojala algun dia pueda tener algo asi de calidad.
I am riding in a quickie gp rigid frame the seat sling is being held up by metal wiring one of my caster wheels berring broke is wobbling I am having issue with insurance my healthplan is HMO no specialist want to see me. I can't enroll into another health plan. I am active and very independent. My chair is in its dying days. I've had this chair for 7 yrs. Is there anything anyone can do for me? Gabe
Dude, sorry to hear about your moses wheelchair and issues with insurance, I've had my fights with insurances. I have brittle bones and I ordered a titanium chair from quickie. Insurance company kept denying it cuz they claimed it was for sports. Idiots. I finally got it but it was a fight. But my question to you and everyone that comes on here is why are you asking for help in the comments section? If you really need help go to the company. And if you are going through insurance do your homework. Find out exactly what is covered and whatnot. Then if it was like my fight, I was about to begin threatening them for not providing services I paid for. But that was years ago. Now I'm looking for another chair. But come on use common sense.
You know would be great instead of you guys pushing your wheelchair various styles I’ve been trying for two days to find a video to show me how to replace the bearings and McCaster forks for Maggiore ultralight but because you know how one side of the washer that holds your fork to the frame or the stem one side flat one side surrounded well unfortunately I didn’t pay attention to which side it was pressed against the bearing and I have looked and looked on TH-cam quickie people with quickies have made videos but no one with Tyler I mean I like your chairs I’ve never had any other chair but non-sealed bearings in the front. Forks why isn’t that a sealed bearing because if you go into a roll in shower and pack pack firewood plus I finally got a roll in shower my bearing goes out every year on my left side every year it be fantastic if it i sealed. And then a question why do we have to go through MPJ mobility all in one mobility why can’t we buy direct from you were the ones that use the chairs in the market that they add to those chairs compared to what I buy them from spin life it’s $3000 I think tops if you go through a mobility store it’s almost like I remember my chairs being $11,000 for a freaking wheelchair Lizer things people need they can’t have life really without them and they’re so fucking expensive it’s on real market it’s unreal and then maintenance so if you live in a small town like I do with there’s one place in Medford. Some jerk off Jody marble works there I needed bearings same issue right because I washed my car and my truck and water gets in there and then the bearing Caesars up you can’t turn her fighting your wheelchair for mobility nothing makes me more mad it took six months for those people to get the parts I requested it when they finally got a hold of me I had words for them six months it’s ridiculous now I just go to the local bearing store and tell them what I need to take it to the local automotive place have them 15 bucks which I wasn’t even going to charge me because I’m handicapped but I said no man you did work you get paid 20 bucks I tipped him five bucks it would’ve taken at least a week if I had to go to mobility place maybe three months depending on how back log they were why don’t you become more user-friendly for the consumer and not the middleman tickets to tack on his extra pricing because not all SEI‘s have insurance luckily I got hurt at work I guess you would call that lucky but it’s frustrating irritating and you become discussed it after a while for me to find knew of another chair that was better or easier to fix or I would try it but it’s hard to change and if you’re back or a bit more just go.. And you need to throw some more fix it videos up for us the people that keep you guys working I’m not the people that rape us with their exorbitant pricing it’s insane insane but you have to pay what is added on by mobility company which is $12,000 for a Wheelchair laugh my ass off now I get it for three grand I just stick with the measurements I had prior unless I’ve gained a little weight with wires add that get a new chair bone no extra $8000 spent for my new tennis shoes i.e. transportation.
When you get older, the wheelie popping and sports is not the selling point, being lighter and easier to maneuver is, arthritis eliminates the interest in the other.
Wheelie popping has been quite useful, for me at least; the fact that TiLite chairs are lighter and easier to maneuver definitely helps with the wheelie popping. Though, funny story, at thirty-four I still keep wheelie bars on my chair because I like to lean back into it and relax without having to worry about cracking my head open falling backwards.
T-Lite should be available directly from the factory to skip the thiefs dedicated to sell localy the chair. Its insain the way they are pricing this needed equipment. I paid 5500.00 Euros for a Kuschal K Series. I would have prefered the T-Lite but the wheelchair mafia bastards in Portugal make a price that is crasy. If I could by directly I will order one asap. Think about it. Think on who really needs a nice chair. The end user. Thanks. Best Wishes Gabriel

That's really great, I should rather get a TiLite since I am qutie weak so it needs to be light weight for it to work for me
Thank you for this. My 3 year old just sat in the demo chair for the first time yesterday. It'll take 3-4 months to get his. But, in the 20 minutes he was in it he couldn't have been happier. I use google translator, I hope I can express it correctly, my name is Badr from Saudi Arabia, I like this chair and I will buy it soon, it has won my trust

I have one of your chair ....I just must say your vendor is bad but your prodicts is GREAT!
Thanks
Coincidence, I just received my first wheelchair 18 hours ago.
I'm thinking about getting a tilite whhelchair . I have bad arthritis in the lower part of my body. Instead tring to fight it to get around I figured I should look into a wheelchair . TIlite would be my choice over all of the others do to the lite weight the chairs are like the rigid tr and zr.
Jason Quinn if it's your first chair, maybe you should try an aero z or a zra. They can adjust, so that's probably better for a first time user.
How much this chair? Tell me please, I need it
