This scripture study class is what led me out of captivity, and helped me come to know Jesus better. I will forever be thankful to David, Emily, and Grace for helping me to feel revived about faith and to share that with my own children, and the youth I teach at church. Thank you from the bottom of my heart 💜.
I'm grateful for Don't Miss This. I love that it is not a strict Sunday school class. I love the new perspectives that are more relatable. And gain more understanding from this than any other scripture study I've ever experienced. Thank you!
“Life is less about what you experience and more about how you perceive, reflect, and are changed by what you experience.” it is in the reflecting and recounting what is happening that we can shape our perception, cultivating a survivor’s attitude and active serenity.
I'm so grateful for being introduced to this channel. I needed help preparing a youth Sunday school lesson, so I watched this episode. I was hoping to get a good teaching plan, and I ended up with a warmth in my heart and tears in my eyes. I was stirred up in remembrance of what Jesus has done for me and the love He has for me, and all of us. Thank you so much for taking the time to invite the Spirit into people's lives.
It does keep getting better and better. Thanks for your insights of these chapters. They have helped me so much. When I look back on my life . . . He was there. At the time, I didn't know that He was there. It was after the struggle had past, when I realized it. He was buoying me up the whole time and I didn't really know it at the time
Thank you for your insights, both of you, for scriptures we have read and heard many times! So grateful!! The one thing that i have learned fron listening to your video over the last few years, and i think that you emphasize, especially in the old testament, is God's continuing love and patience with us and meeting us where we are!! And i need that!! So grateful for the added boost of remembering we have a Heavenly Father that loves us! Thank you!!❤
The questions rarely allow me to leave with dry-eyes. That introspection and recognition of what my soul actually responds to, is imperative to my continued faithfulness and devotion over the years.
Today's section was wonderful! I am not a daily journalist, but I do write thoughts and reflections down most Sundays. I have certainly seen great value in doing that. I too love temple recommend interview questions but today felt it's value increase further. Thank you both for always helping me see something I would have otherwise missed.
My husband, a new member of the church, was called to teach the 16-17 year old School School class. I am enjoying your lessons now from a completely different perspective. They are wonderful! Thank you for the ideas you share that inspire more ideas. ( I was also going to mention how much I like Grace’s dress, but decided maybe I shouldn’t)
Dave did s fireside for a YA ward my dad was Bishop over and he is such a cool guy and great gospel teacher. I really love how Grace stepped up after Emily’d calling as young women general president and see she was raised well by a great gospel teacher too!!
These videos are great but I wish there was a quick recap as to where in the book of Mormon we are. Like a few sentences about the previous video. Keep making this great content!
People walk away from the church because they are not taught true doctrine and they dwindle in unbelief. "True doctrine understood changes attitude and behavior." - Boyd K. Packer. When we teach the doctrine of Christ, we do not teach the baptism of fire and the holy ghost as part of the process of getting on the straight and narrow path and experiencing a mighty change; it was not mentioned in this video. Then we teach that all you need to do now is endure to the end; of course, people are walking away! Once you receive a mighty change from the Savior, you then know that you are on the straight and narrow path, and you CAN imagine that you will be able to sit down with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and enter into the rest of the Lord eventually in this life. Those who have never had this experience and become new creatures will not be able to imagine ever achieving these other great blessings.

I soo agree!!❤
Me too!💖🙏💖🙏
Same for me. The Spirit is so strong when you humbly come to learn. It's true: there's power in gathering and sharing.

I hunger and thirst after understanding of the scriptures

Believe in Him. Thank you very much😍👏
Very good lesson and so much to learn on the page and in-between the lines. Nice presentation.
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ want to be in your story/life-not a bystander. Let Them in.
I just got called to teach the youth Sunday School. My history with this will help me be prepared to stir them and help them to think.
Grace, you are powerful! Thank you for your testimony!! 💗

❤I love this scripture study class. I love the part about digging deeper into the questions. Have ye been spiritually born? When? What happened?
I think it's important to think about and repent everyday
Such a great lesson, thank you!
Another good one guys!
My dear Institute and choir director, Bro. Cropper at Weber State would say If not me, who? Then add If not now, when?
Thank you👏😊♥️
I want Gracie'd dress!
Thank you. I’m interested in knowing what journaling app you use Grace. Please let me know.

They leave I'm assuming because everything they did was to be seen of men. All we do is about building our relationship with God and Jesus not man.
Please tell us verse you are in.
❤
what is the scripture reference for the word of the week
Alma 4:19;51
Also Exodus 35:21
@@christinelabrum8257 thank you
Watched your PC and your word of the day is not legible but overall great like always, thanks
Love your "lessons" but when you put things on a white background I cannot read or see them.
At the beginning you're too light-hearted for me
I love this podcast and the laughter. Y’all help me feast on the words of Christ! Keep up the great work of making the scriptures so relatable!
