Carolane Gordon We want them to live in a sanctuary in Africa with their own kind. They are NOT pets- they were rescued from the illegal pet trade. Yes, they can be aggressive because they are wild animals, but mean is a word I only use when describing humans.

I have also one baby baboon, I rescued too.. exactly the same case than yours.. I’m looking some place for her, but here in Saudi Arabia also don’t care about it so I don t know what to do with her but for me was impossible let her in her cages in the market, the condition there is horrible to any animal!!

If these baboons are not pets, then why are they forced to wear human clothing over their fur. Diapers are understood. But tops, blouses, dresses, onesies forced onto captive furred primates blocks their #1 social-bonding activity, which is grooming each other's fur.
Then stop treating them like humans
I agree that clothing sends the wrong message, but I can assure you we are doing everything in our power to build them a large habitat where they can grow up as naturally as possible. Oakland Zoo in California is helping us launch a fundraiser this month. These babies witnessed the murder of their mothers and entire troops. Out goal is to bring awareness to the sick illegal trade of infant baboons in Kuwait- yes they are in Kuwait and we want to move them to Africa.

Vicki Frederick they are in Kuwait where there are no options for baboons who are smuggled into the country. It is illegal but laws are ignored. We are looking at sanctuaries in Africa right now.

Yes they will be mean they are tempered that way just as chimps are no matter how you treat them they will turn and they are natural aggressive and one day they will find out the hard way, since they think only ones that are mean are the ones who have their families slaughtered and then are raised by mean humans but tragically this person will learn the hard way I just hope none of the poor dogs or humans are injured or killed for this person to find out . baboons are the worst also they will kill their own offspring for no reason and eat the thing. Yes all of them kill offspring and babies but these are the worst like they are naturally aggressive like crazy...

There’s an elephant sanctuary in Hohenwald TN. I don’t know if they take other exotic animals but it came to mind. The sanctuary probably has the right type of forest area,etc perfect for baboons, monkeys etc. Just a thought.
