Nice, for cutting the bar I do it the trial assembly way, lightly assemble the full length bar in the switch poking out through the door, close the door, fit the plastic handle assembly on the bar, hold it roughly in place, measure how far too long it is poking out & cut off with said measurement - but agree they are a hassle

Thats how i used to do it. attatch bar through door, push door handle on, measure distance from door to handle, cut that off
