Hello dave, it is amazing that i have been learning a lot through your videos and it would be great if you give us a video on "copy geometry vs shrinkwrap vs independent geometry", Thank you

I don’t think there’s enough content to merit a video on that. Copy Geometry is when you want to reference a part. Shrinkwrap is when you want to reference an assembly. I’ve already covered that in their respective videos. How are you using Independent Geometry? Are you talking about the result of the Collapse Geometry command? If so, I’ve never gotten the point of that command. Maybe you can tell me how you are using it.

@@CADPLMGuy Thanks for replying. I got confused as i can select geometry with both shrinkwrap and copy geometry commands. Also i wanted to know the predominant way of using independent geometry instead of collapsing to get one.

The Collapse Geometry feature is the only way I know of to get an Independent Geometry feature. Why are you trying to get Independent Geometry? I don't understand your motive.

@@CADPLMGuyI thought i could use it for something else. Thanks for clarifying

    Hello Dave,
I did not know this rule of 1/3. But when we don't know the tool radius that will be used, can we just apply the rule: "round radius > 1/3 of the depth" or should we rather know the tool radius beforehand to adapt the rounds accordingly?
Likewise for the round of the floor, what round radius when we don't know the tool radius used?
    Thank you!

I think I made a video on that subject several months ago. Have you searched the videos on my channel?

Okay, I just looked, and you're right - I never created a video on drawing templates. I will add that to the list.

Ramesh, the video on the drawing .dtl file will be released tomorrow morning (Thursday, April 18) at 6:00 am Pacific time and the drawing template video will be the following morning.

Why Creo Parametric has kept everything complex for small small things as compared to other programs?

It’s a trade off between capability and simplicity. Do you complain that a CNC router isn’t as simple as a table saw? Generally I find when people make comments like that, they are unaware of the full range of functionality and edge cases that Creo can handle that other software can’t.
