But you see, the game lasted more than 2-5 turns, therefore it's automatically good, balanced and fun.
They only make it look like this because they make every possible misplay there is and have extremely suboptimal decks to begin with.
Every single format they played so bad it's hilarious people are taking it as a representative example

Playing BA in Necroz format seems pretty exciting, I gotta say.
I also like how Maxx "C" is essentially a sidedeck card for taking on Infernity in H.A.T., since most other decks in the format are going to either set a bunch of backrow in their opening play or try to OTK going second if they do special summon a lot. Also Soul Charge being a potential 5 for 1 limits how much advantage you can get off of it in other decks attempting to rebuild their boards.

@@__-be1gk Because he mostly plays Master Duel, where he can't play them. Which is why he hasn't played them in a long time and forgot how fun they are. Which, you know, is why he wants those formats in Master Duel. To be able to play them again in the simulator he plays.
I like the current rules but I hate the current top meta decks of just negating everything the enemy can do. If they banned all Sprites permanently and gave Mathmech some 1 limits on its negate xyz monsters then this would be the most fun the game has been since 5D.
To be fair, ALOT of us have been telling konami since pretty much the release of master duel that we wanted classic mode as a seperate ranked ladder like hearthstone has, or as just a seperate restricted mode all together.
Personally i'd love it if it had cards maybe up to 5D's with synchros because I loved infernity / Tech genius decks.
All of these formats feel like different games. Konami should at least try to implement some of these in master duel, I'm sure lots of people would be interested.
Definably Since edison and goat are actually the most popular alternative formats
they don't want to put in old rulings and want to sell new cards

used to love playing U.A. into burning abyss. slugger just stops all the effs from going off and basically negates all the floating the deck can do and they can't summon monsters strong enough to hit over your defensive monsters

Nekroz format was my first competitive format and BA was my first truly competitive deck. Watching that game brought back a lot of Memories.
I havnt enjoyed watching Yugioh this much in a long time. Ty for bringing back amazing memories.
Recently got back into master duel and had a fun match against traptrix using tenyi Phantasm
Edison format brought back college memories when i went to the break room some guys would play and i would watch good times

Its in the same chain its fine, If it was solemned he would have to activate on a new chain, but couldn't because it no longer would be on attack declaration. The whole chain there was responding to attack declaration.
I wish I could had a 2016 format, a couple really cool triangle formats during that time.

Dueling Book looks like a lot to set up and play, but worth it if you want to replicate old formats and eras of Yu-Gi-Oh. Does this game have native PVP? I've been on YGO Pro for a few weeks now, but I'd like to try this out with friends and to recreate old decks instead of using Master Duel.
Duelingbook is just a website you can use for free, no download or extensive setup required, it’s actually quite easy to use, just remember that it is entirely a manual simulator so you have to remember all your triggers and follow all the rules yourself as if you were playing with paper cards
There is a ranked ladder and unranked lobby so you can play with other people online or with friends as you wish
It's nothing to set up, it's literally just a website.

Not positive, but I think it's that he drew metamorphosis while he had scapegoat set. If he had activated scapegoat during coder's end phase then he'd have been able to summon TER right away to out the Jinzo. But because he didn't, he had to wait an extra turn. Which is also probably why he emphatically called that he was using scapegoat during coder's next end phase.

Instant Fusion treats the summon as a fusion summon. Very cool and balanced card.
