- Dr. Jacque von Hämsterviel’s is the former partner of Dr. Jumba Jookiba, the cofounder of Galaxy Defense Industries, and the primary financier of Jumba’s illegal genetic experiments. He’s the long time employer of Captain Gantu and Experiment 625, the most evil rodent in the galaxy, and is the true big bad villain of Lilo & Stitch’s epic saga, and today we're going through his full story.

It's kinda interesting that both Jumba and Hämsterviel consider all the experiments as their own. Hämsterviel funded their creations of course, so he believes that they are his property to be used as his disposal, while Jumba single-handledly created them all and after his reformation he created almost like father-and-son/daughter-like connection with all of them (save for few initial exceptions like with Clip) and Stitch.
Ah, yes. Dr. Hämsterviel, voiced by Jeff Bennett. What more can I say other that he’s a funny maniacal villain right next to Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

The name and thumbnail was like unlocking a hidden memory. I think of the tv show from time to time, I’ve seen the last 2 movies just once and somehow I forgot this character existed. Giving him background like this makes me more invested in the Lilo and Stitch lore.

12:49 actually they skipped 10 more years so they skipped 20 years altogether; you may be getting confused with someone in the episode saying that “HamstervielVille” hasn’t been Kokawa Town for “at least 5 years”.
Also fun fact in the anime Stitch we see more of Jumba & Dr. Hämsterviel’s school days at the EGU along with Delia

10:14 If I were to guess, since his lab is activated through voice activation there is no way to deactivate and hide his lab once he teleport himself away. This would possibly lead to Galactic Federation to discover his lab, recapture him and put him under stricter security.
Some genetic experimentation might been involved in Rufus.
He can talk and do a lot of brilliant stuff
Well, Jumba thought Rufus was Experiment 607, so there may be something there.
Yeah that was something I actually liked about the live-action Kim Possible movie where Ron finds Rufus in a lab instead of just getting him at Smarty-Mart….unless of course Smarty-Mart has some ties to genetic experimentation given all the other exotic animals they sell but whether or not that’s the case was never really explored in the animated show.
Hämsterviel is the most underrated Disney villain out there. I like him a lot despite being a bad guy. Wish there was FUNKO! Pop of him.
Wow! I had no idea that there were so many Lilo and Stitch Crossover episodes! Also, it was neat to learn and theorize about such an underrated Disney villain! Very cool time line and villain arc exploration!

Hi, Isaac! This is random but since you are big on Disney facts/characters/stories, I was wondering if you had reviewed the Villains’ Lair series by Pattycake Productions? Maybe see how accurate the villain acting is and see if the original plot line maintains continuity with original Disney stories? I will admit the schemes and interactions seem a little darker than in original Disney at times but I think that is simply because there is little distracting “goodness” due to no heroes being present. It might be wise to watch it alongside Pattycake’s Princess Academy series as both share a timeline. If nothing else, I have little doubt you would enjoy an episode of the series!
With having Hampstervile’s hideout being his prison cell it’s a very similar idea to how Taurus Bulba’s hideout worked in the Darkwing Duck episode Darkly Dawns The Duck.
I'm actually surprised that the TV series and the movies never had Hamsterviel hire a bounty hunter as that would be an interesting storyline showing him fed up with Gantu and so he decides to hire someone who's more confident

Oh wow now I have a new apretiation for the Lilo and Stich Cinematic Universe. This was such a ride I feel like I just watched a full anime recap
Originally Dr. Hamsterviel wanted to capture and take control of Jumba's experiments but since it was too little too late Lilo and Stitch turned all of the experiments from bad to good and 3 years later that's when he decided to not just capture all of the experiments but to kill them all with his own creation Leroy number 629. Leroy let me tell you he was like a terminator that just won't stop.
I admit the idea that Hamsterviel was captured before Jumba & Stitch would make a lot of sense, maybe one of his money making schemes finally backfired on him. Either the United Galactic Federation discoverd were the money was going or Hamsterviel did tell them about it after he was captured in order to make it seem like Jumba was the mastermind behind it all.
I saw someone referring to Hamsterviel as a rejected Captain Underpants villain and I love that description so f**king much

Your best guess: why couldn’t Dr Hamsterviel use his teleporter to escape from prison? That has always bugged me since I was a kid since that teleporter could even teleport Gantu from the prison back to Gantu’s ship

Ghantu was never a villian. He was a victim. I loved the Finale when Ghantu realizes he doesnt needs Hämsterdam, in fact even lazy Reuben is a better comerad.

its funny that in the German version of lilo and stitch his name is van Hamsterdam and he speaks german with a dutch accent.
Yeah, and in the Swedish version, his full name is Dr. Jacques von Hämstervuul, and he speaks Swedish with a French accent, probably due to the French first name he has in both the English- and the Swedish version, Jacques.
And also, ”vuul”, is something that sounds like/rhymes with ”hjul” (Swedish for ”wheel”), and Hamsterviel dislikes being called ”Hamster wheel” and/or ”Hamsterhjul”.

You skipped the part where Hamsterviel was gonna sell all of Jumba's experiments to Lady Delia and join forces with her, throwing Jumba under the bus, most probably ratting out Jumba out of vengeance after he decided not to give up his experiments thanks to Yuna, Pleakley and Stitch telling him of Hamsterviel's plan

I think that Hampsterviel didn't teleport himself to Earth because, if he did, the guards would have discovered his teleporter. He still needed that teleporter if he ever got sent back to prison.
you mean his teleporter among all the equipments hidden in his jail cell. im suprised they managed to hide all of that i mean just do a circuit check and they should find that his jail cell is running more power despite having just lights, security restrains and the door
