The dose makes the poison. There’s a difference between handling raw, pure powder you could breathe or get in your eyes versus a diluted liquid mix. And even then, there’s a difference of risk in handling liters of the stuff for a whole apiary vs the milliliters that goes in a hive. To say nothing of differing biology between our species.
