Also a lot of the modern hawaians descended from Ilocanos (northern filipinoes) so there is also a possibility that her mother has filipino blood too and that she met nicole's father in a pinoy party due to them both having pinoy relatives. You can also see that Nicole has that typical mestiza beauty of a pinay though they are quite rare nowadays or at least not much in the limelight of showbusiness.
