    Thank you for bothering to give such a helpful and easy to follow list of items and directions for this rotary tool. I took photo of your tools laid out, emailed it to myself, printed it and labeled the parts so i will have a clue what to do in the workshop!!! Without your video, I have no idea how I would have figured out most of the steps to using this product. Bless you!

    I bought this for the unbelievable price of £18 on Ebay, brand NEW!
    Bought it specifically to be able to cut v joints into thin bamboo. Both the lighter and the darker cutting wheels caused the wood to burn from friction and also reduced the size of the cutting wheels.
    Tried the sander and same thing but I think I applied too much pressure and the sandpaper just flew off. Worked GREAT on plywood (VERY smooth if you go lightly).
    So you might want something else if using it on hardwood.

    Got one last month. Cardboard box was identical but the case is slightly different. You got two accessories I didn't, but mine had three yours didn't.
    - No handle attachment or stone
    - it did have a baggie full of sanding bands and a clear guard attachment, so you could use it and it'd be less likely to send debris flying into your eyes. Also came with a jaw chuck, it looks like a tiny version of the chuck on a drill. I think you use that to replace the collet if you prefer. Actually it looks a lot like the thing on your Dremel you showed at the beginning.

    Tacklife have flooded Amazon with hundreds of power tools, many seemingly competing with each other in an overloaded market. I would love to know what they are all about! The rotory tool like you reviewed can be had anywhere from under $10 up. Where does this Tackline fit in quality wise with the competition ??
    Just about any of them should do the tasks you demonstrated.

    I bought a Tack Life and for simple very light use it worked fine, but as soon as I used it for grinding and cutting bolts it overheated. The collar part got stuck and I could not change out the bit. I used a strong grip and the damn thing broke off (the collar and it's internals. The week before that the shaft tool stopped working after a few weeks of using it. It was always loose and finally stopped spinning although the tool itself was working. I had it just a little too long to send it back so lesson learned "You get what you pay for" I am now looking to buy a Dremel 4300

    Since the tool comes with very vague and limited instructions, I just went by logic as to how to finally use this for something after having bought it quite a while ago. I need to use the small black cutting disc but could not ever get the attachment to stay locked in to the tool itself. It never occured to me that there may be something amiss or perhaps missing, until I watched your video. I am assuming, as I did when I initially began assembling it for cutting, that the chuck should work just like any other chuck found on a common drill where you twist and a collar inside will then clamp down on whichever accessory is being used. This does not happen on mine. I understand how the button works to lock the inside so it does not just spin freely allowing you to then tighten down the collet. I've also used the wrench after hand tightening to no avail. So assuming that part does function just like a drill does to tighten down on a bit, then I think mine is either missing some inner piece or just broken. Disappointing, but at least now I can stop messing with it and concede that it's a lost cause thanks to your demo. Thanks for taking the time to post...

  • @kamil-cn7vf
    @kamil-cn7vf 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good video, but it misses the thing that made me struggle for a few minutes. At 2:26 the chuck is already installed. If you have to install it yourself, the important thing is that there's a metal (copper?) thing that goes INSIDE the plastic part of the chuck, you install them both together. Only then you install your bits. Hope that helps.

    Make your own sticker and slap it on to become one of many manufacturers. It looks cute but if one thing needs replacing it is straight to the bin. A discussion as to what is inside the case is usual on a review.

I needed to get a rotary tool so that I can score a slot in a battery terminal carriage bolt that I could no longer tighten a nut too. I bought this same rotary. I have had it for almost a year. It overheats very quickly every time, which makes it very uncomfortable. It is the first rotary tool I have used. Is quick overheating typical for all rotery tools? I use it for various things, including car detailing. I got 2 inch backing pads that attach. Besides the heating, it has no other problems.
