Wild _Toilet unfortunately rob passed. they never mentioned it but he died in a Porsche 911 GT3RS. What an amazing guy, so sad to see him go 😔

Lonman, Kim Dotcom and Alex Roy were the top 3 drivers of the 2000’s era Gumball
I remember a great clip of the 2004 Gumball in Morocco, Kim chasing down Lonman, saying something like "this guy is nuts"
And the boys from GT3000, with the Gulf livery on a GT3
Those three were ‘Gumball’ back in that era. It’s a shadow of its former self now.

@@Samuel-my2ik There are two Rob Kenworthys, one runs a business called GTMaritime, the other (GT2 Rob) was embroiled in a major international VAT fraud case along with his brother Adam. If you google "Phuncards-Broker" along with their names you'll find all sorts on that.

The gt3 was up for sale years ago for not a lot of money. I was on the 2004 gumball and if I remember rightly he got arrested and spent a few days in jail.

Yeah, I hate to be the killjoy but I’m not a big fan of that kind of stuff. I just see it as wasteful...unless it’s a certain small list of cars (Pontiac Aztek, PT Cruisers, other abominations that are unnatural and an affront to all lovers of transportation).

Concerning the water pump failure: I was wondering if doing donuts in the SL55 was a good idea. That might have blown it. In the E63's of that era, having tight steering angles while going full throttle easily kills those if i'm not mistaken. See Tyler Hoovers green E63 for reference.
With the roads being so empty recently due to the virus, it’s the perfect time to let these cars absolutely rip. If only there was a guarantee of not getting sick.

That is fucking insane how they were driving those cars and passing on the median and then hiding in that ditch. Watching that Porsche and Mercedes driven like that by that rally driver is fucking awesome. 150 mph in the rain!!!! Holy shit!!!!! I remember white knuckling it 80 mph in the rain in my Torino with bald bias ply tires but 150!!!!!!!
Hi Ed, a little special request if I may. In the early days of Gumball there was a character by the name of Mike or Micky or something. He was a big guy and drove an SL on a number of Gumballs. He was wild on the roads and seemed unique and a tonne of fun. Most interestingly, however, he was the man behind Megaupload -- please find him.
