Hi I really love watching your videos because I learn something new every time. I’m 16 years old me and my two younger brothers started makeing syrup 4 years ago now and we tap about 550 trees. I really enjoy all of your videos since I can learn new things every time especially when it comes to increasing vaccum!
We get caught up ,in all the things we have to do. Getting the woods ready. It’s good to real back a little. Enjoy the quite woods ,and the snow. Always learning something from your videos. Nice job Scott
I’m in Northern Vt and out of 1700 taps, all sugar maples I have two very large reds that I have never tapped. Been sugaring the same bush since 1975…..guess I l’ll slap a few taps into them🍁. I meant to say red maple vs. white…oops.😀

Beautiful weather for tapping. Great video, chicken wings sound great for supper.
cold days aren't that bad as long as your hands and feet stay warm. If they don't it is miserable
Think everyone is a winner

So where are you located? Looks as though you have a lot of soft maple and white maple?
