What I think is gonna happen (in Div3) - Kelso gets killed by the Hunters of McManus (or by then) Natalia while confronting them. - McManus takes over The Division, making it "evil". - The Hunters become the "SHD Agents". - We (the actual SHD agents) get marked rogue, and we can't use I.S.A.C. anymore. - (In the first mission) We get easily captured (because our skills dont work anymore) and taken to prison (Rikers Island or something like that) and interrogated for the "kill switch". - Some Rogue agent(s) break us out. - Now we have to do a stealth mission until we are outside of the prison, which is where a Hunter sees us, and for ego reasons goes after us solo (sort of a horror mission). - at the end when we almost die we get saved by the last rogue that sacrifices his/herself to kill/K.O the Hunter. - When we are at the meeting point, we get surrounded by Rogue Agents. And this is where Keener steps forward and tells us the hows and why's (put the dots on the i's). - We now join the Rogue's and A.N.NA. becomes our new I.S.A.C. Network, and we can start fighting "The Division". - But because of McManus we have to start over making alliance's with other "Faction's" (earn their respect). And with that they open their resources for us. ▪︎ The Civilians - Supplies - Access to certain territories - Dog (companion) - Vanity Vendor ▪︎ The True Son's - Gear/Weapons - Access to their territories - Vanity Vendor ▪︎ The Rogue's (as they (besides Keener) don't trust us yet). - Skills - Skills vendor Buying bigger mags for turrets/drones No more infinite ammo for skills, etc. - Vanity vendor - 1 strap backpacks!!! - Tech/Survivor/Recovery links back!!! - 🔥Classified❤️🔥Reclaimer🔥 Anyways...😬 Now we have to safe communities from the Hunters or "SHD Agents" that were ordered to put a strict Martial Law in all those safe havens (making the communities like prisons/work camps). After we have done that, we can take out the head of the snake or...Hydra👀 So we go into that last mission, and eventually get into that last room where McManus/Sokolova is/are, and.... A.N.N.A gets shut down, so that only the Hunters will have their Tech online. But little did they know that Faye Lau & Scheaffer had uploaded A.N.N.A into the Diamond Network. So... either we will still have our Tech online (or comes back online from within the Diamond Network). Or we both (Hunters & us) lose access to our Tech (because A.N.N.A takes Diamond with her), and the room becomes an old Wild Wild West shoot out for a moment. Anyways I can't wait for Div3!! (I'm not pre ordering it tho, I've learned my lessons with 1 & 2)
I think these next few months are gonna be epic! Maybe when Directive 51 gets chaged (or removed) and presumably ISAC goes down permanently, thats when we start using ANNA. Also, it will be interesting if they incorporate the "back door" that allows people with specific clearance to over ride the Warhounds and other mechs that Black Tusk uses.
Keener trying to build a team with the new tech system “ANNA” made my Theo, hinting the 6 watches. While doing the last manhunt missions you can hear Keener and “ANNA” pretty much makin fun of “ISAC” as if its like a less advanced system. Since Keener knows, im also guessing in the DLC that Keeners team which includes us we end up going against something more advanced or like a bigger problem in a way. Thats why he knew he needed a even more advanced team with new tech to face off whats ahead of us. Theo’s a mastermind too if you think about it..created the whole “cloning” “holograms” and created a more advanced ISAC system; ANNA
Isn't like Theo didn't create ANNA? It was Alexander and Claire Ortiz who created that AI? I suppose Theo could modified it, but he didn't created ANNA. Maybe I'm wrong, because my lore knowledge of div 2 is really blurry

You really should be careful.” So yea im not surprised thats the reason he made ANNA and the whole rogue network. Keener made sure to keep him alive cause he knows he needs him. Also adding onto my theory, i think in the DLC might be about Keener showing us “The Bigger Picture” maybe its him showing us whats really out there whats really been going on, and then i think thats when it it’ll let us have a choice of fully going rogue or staying a puppet jumping through loops. I think keener is really just trying to let us think he's on our side but he really isn't and maybe he is trying to kill the guy that the only black tusk left or at least free him to get info for him self. Keener said he wanted his watch which in my mind makes me think he is going to try to hack the system or something
If I've interpreted this correctly, if we combine the maps of The Division 1, Warlords of New York, and this upcoming Brooklyn DLC I think we'll have covered all of the map shown in the E3 showcase, and more. Imagine if they connected them all up into one big playable area. Of course, that would require porting the entire map from Div 1 into Div 2. And maybe vice versa in a DLC for Div 1? I doubt they would do that though. Even though I think the setting is much better in winter I just don't think they'd want to remake all of the Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn maps into winter for a game they've kind of moved on from.
Great minds think alike. My estimations are aligned with yours. I was impressed with the First Rogue season ending. Looking forward to Brooklyn and beyond. As for Division 3, I hope they incorporate some of Heartland into it. I don't see any end to the black tusk or Kalvin until sometime in Division 3.
UBI as a whole is in deep shit, but Div2 and Crew2+Motorfest seems to be still afloat nicely. Here hoping these IPs dont crash just yet... RIP to the F2P division Spinoff tho :(
It would be way too much work for them, because this is still Ubisoft, as decently as they've done with Div2 I still take a pile of salt with everything they do or say. But looking at it optimistically, it would be cool if the events of Brooklyn happen and then in the next game they give us a choice to side with the Rogues or McManus. Obviously they had plans to recruit us during the Recruiter season, another hint also being the hunter we fight in the hunt for Kelso (the message we're given if he kills you), so what if during those events we do things that make us question our standings with both sides, but we're so successful at our missions that McManus reaches out again and gives us a choice at the beginning of the Div3 to side with him and become a hunter. I know it would be a big undertaking to try and write stories and events for the 2 different sides, depending in what people want from it, but it would be cool nonetheless. Maybe if you side with the Rogues, your allies are more like guerilla fighters and you have to rely on safehouses that are scattered around the city, kind of like we have now, but with no BoO, while the Hunter side has you working with the Black Tusk and all the benefits that cime with it and having bases in central locations, rather than safehouses. Like I said, huge undertaking that would never happen, but it's cool to think about

as always... Tom Clancy's stories are just the top notch for old school thriller. (haven't played the whole manhunt since I'm gathering Nemesis first then ending those boss with it 😅) I bet the dlc will show some deep state stuff like Amherst being financed by the Black Tusk or the Black Tusk & Ellis know about Amherst and take opportunity of it instead of preventing the catastrophe
There was definitely a reference in Hunted to the Division being ordered to disband. I'm not sure if I missed something, or if there is a gap in the lore for Div3 to fill in

I think the Watches are a solid theory. Overall I think there was a little fudging done with this Season due to it not originally being planned (Brooklyn DLC delay), and then the ongoing changes happening to Seasons 2.0 coming next month. If the narrative was planned for Seasonal Characters, and they're now no longer coming- that could have impacted things too. We'll see what we learn heading into Y6S2!

This might go off track, but hear me out (this is gonna be a little wild) What if the devs bring in the other titles in the Tom Clancy universe? I mean, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6. Ive been playing Breakpoint, and you can have characters from Rainbow 6 as AI team mates, and they have some gear from the 3rd Echelon. I think all 3 groups are in more or less the same timeline (theres even reference of the Ghosts giving or receiving help from the 3rd Echelon) My point is, if theyre still alive the CIA and NSA directors know Cal, and are probably aware of his motivations/intentions. What if we get some backup From Nomad, and Sam (or his predecessor?)
If you remember ghost story, the drones are backed up by a secret frequency within earth that help them communicate with eachother. That could be the new system the div have to face
Looking forward to the DLC for sure. I do like how they have sprinkled in some of the lore from the book series into the game world. A small example is the propaganda broadcasts. Some of them have Natalia Sokolova speaking before the reset. If you stop and listen she talks about the Roamers that is a trucker faction from the book series. Almost done with Compromised and looking forward to reading Hunted. I highly recommend the book series folks.
Keener making stipulations to keep his coms and watch leads me to believe he'll somehow get Schaffers needed data to use for himself, and we'll somehow get screwed over yet again.
Definitely possible! One detail they added in a previous Comm though was that Black Tusk's biometric systems are nearly impossible to dupe with cloned DNA/data. You really need the person themselves to get in. But maybe Keener will try to break Bardon out 👀
@@RogueGold I would take issue with Bardon's biometrics still working after being captured. SOP for any organization that is using that level of security after someone has been compromised or captured is to lock out their credentials.
I still REALLY hope that we can go to where the tutorial was in the Brooklyn DLC and that they keep that area the same as The Division’s. Also with Keener talking about recruits and all of that I don’t think I’ll be seeing and JTF action in Brooklyn which I was hoping for. I also hope they give the “Resistance” actual designs similar to that of the enemy NPCs but I don’t have hope for that, what I mean is they have whole outfits instead of randomized clothing parts.

I noticed today that we are already using all 3 AIs. I was running OW and my watch was red. It turned orange when I engaged a CP also my tech device(was running a skill build) has the diamond logo from Black tusk on it.
I'm hopeful the True Sons turn on the Black Tusk and join us considering that Anderson has been dead quiet for the past few seasons. I hope that the events of season 9 and 10 made at least some True Sons realize that Anderson might not be doing what is best for the True Sons. And who knows, maybe Keeners army has some LMB remnants?
Not gonna lie but all this makes me sad Heartland got canceled in favor of XDefiant because the initial lore was that the Division agents in that game had begun to lose trust of the Division which would have lent itself perfectly to the current storyline.
I am also gutted about Heartlands but I do believe a lot of it will be incorporated in upcoming seasons and Division 3 so hopefully we can get some of the content
So heres what i think could happen in the dlc, with a new zone, keener and his group would try to stage a guerilla warfare style offense against black tusk, with key players trying to weaken black tusk overtime before sending a final strike, like theo hacking servers to gain access to drones and warhounds, schaeffer helping small units with training and infiltration as he has biometric access to gain entry to secure compounds, leading to more intel and drones (unless sokolova knew about this and revoke access from him), keener could coordinate with multiple units and other factions, as he is kind of known as the puppeteer and he has influence, for us its helping them be effective, and gain more people and resources, plus with more people, more chances for people to help infiltrate BTSU and weaken them from within, its my guess and really trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
With consideration that cal could try to revoke access to isac, I think that Anna would still give us access to our tech as isac, Anna, and diamond are kind of different (not sure they have access to tech). My idea is that once we got the rogue network up it would cause other rogues to regroup at Brooklyn and fight side by side to take down btsu and the hunters, maybe Theo already put Anna into their systems and is waiting for the trigger and cause there tech to either A) shut down or B) make it so that it goes against them as before keener hacked a marauder drone on liberty Island, and guessing Theo was still alive during that time, he could already have a back door in or making new code to get through it again

I am having second taught on even purchasing the dlc because at the end of the day it became useless this year. People without the DLC are now doing what we do. It should be free.
I hate to be the downer on your theories but there's a few holes. 1. Natalya was already talking about St. Louis and its radiation issues which was in Recruited. So that pokes a hole in the timeline you mentioned. 2. If Calvin McManus had the authority to shut down the Division and ISAC he should have done by now. 3. If the Division was shutdown by McManus then how do the characters in the novel still have SHD tech and why are the cores still active? 4. If Keener has a list of all the Hunters then how does no one in the books know nothing but rumours of them? Plus its obvious they didn't find them all. 5. If McManus disbanded the Division all agents would have red watches except that's not true in the books which are in the future. These are questions that have no answers yet. Personally I think that the Brooklyn dlc is going to be when the Division goes to Brooklyn and find the hidden Black Tusk base. Hopefully since there's been such a push about hunting hunters that next season or even the dlc has us hunting hunters. Also for all the folks pointing out Keener took extra watches for rogues...I'm guessing that was meant for the seasonal characters that certain fans killed.
1. As mentioned in the vid, Recruited takes place between September/October of 2016, which was around the timing of Seasons 9, 10, 11 for the game. So that all lines up 👍 It's Compromised that takes the big leap into the future. 2. Perhaps the only person able to make that command is the President, and while McManus is in the line of succession, he hasn't been sworn in yet. Could be a plot point of the DLC. 3. Making a declaration and carrying out a deactivation are two different things, he might state that The Division's cause is over and that they no longer have authority- but my guess is that most Agents would keep fighting/working given the state of the world. I assume the only way to shut down the Cores/SHD Network is from within, which is why we see Natalya try to attack the Texas Core in Hunted. 4. Not explicitly explained in the lore to my knowledge, but TD2's narrative director and the Crossroads author have talked about how the lack of national infrastructure leads to a big communication desert. So even if DC Agents know about Hunters, the rest of the country doesn't automatically until an effort is made to get the word out. Plus, it wouldn't shock me if Keener is more withholding of that info than he's suggesting (trojan horse theory). Also if he were to die in the DLC, and the roster is lost with him, that could be another explanation. 5. See no. 3. Also there was a Comm in the past few Seasons (might have been Y5S2?) talking about how ISAC's code is flawed, and he isn't recognizing the line of succession change, therefore not updating to mark us Rogue (that's paraphrasing, I'd have to go back and check the exact quote). By the way- none of this is retaliatory, I love the discussion! And will happily admit I'm wrong on any of these points 😄 Just wanted to share my follow-up thoughts. Would love to hear if you have any more
@RogueGold 1. Being honest, I don't have a complete timeline available so my bad. Just seems off timeline wise, something I can't put my finger on. 2. McManus is way down the list of succession though. But like my own idea for Division 3, there's a lot of politicians in front of McManus. So the Black Tusk would have to find and kill everyone ahead of McManus. Which I thought would make a great game concept traveling to different cities in the U.S. trying to find these politicians. I could go more into my idea but I don't want to bore everyone. 3. I don't think Division can be deactivated without an actual president...which leads to shortening the politicians in line again. Deactivated on the electronic level probably doesn't need to be from the inside because they used the program from an electronic device from inside an aircraft. I think its proximity based, at least for Miras program. But the whole rule of three is that they would have to take out all three cores. 4. True there is a communications drought but the novels show cross country communication is entirely capable. Heather Ward contacts Brenda on comms and so does the agent wanting to capture Mira, a couple times. Also while regular comms may be down there's still three cores that's whole job is to relay ISAC information across the country. Meaning logically if anyone had information on hunters (Manny, Kelso, our agent) that would have been reported and recorded through ISAC. Most assuredly after the events of the novel it would have been reported. So while the local JTF isn't getting the memo, something as terrifying as an almost unkillable enemy who is undercover in the Division who is able to scramble skills, coms and take .50 cal hits seems like something to report. 5. ISAC wouldn't recognize the change in government because Ellis was the last one officially recognized and sworn in. So without an official ceremony to confirm next in line. So ISAC doesn't follow succession because the line has ended and it hasn't identified the next in line. So without confirmation of death of the politicians in line before McManus ISAC is unlikely to allow McManus to be president.
They need to resurrect some of the former rogues who weren't evil we went after and the 1 rogue suddenly revealed to have been a hunter that heloed keener and faye but we take her out easily she didnt even fight like a hunter
I still don't think we have Keener at the boo cause the Brooklyn settlement is to important so I think cause he said he needed his watch and Comms I think it's Parnell in disguise 🤔🤔🤔
I think this would break the trust with the Agent and he genuinely does need us so I doubt it, I just don't think he's worried about being incarcerated. His comment in the living quarters of the bunker would indicate he had already planned to get captured so it's part of his plan. He probably has everything set in motion, like he said on liberty Island, everyone has their part to play, he just needs to conduct the orchestra.
How hard must it be to remove biometric access? Most secure facilities IRL will deny you unchallenged access if you have not accessed the facility in a large amount of time.
I could be mistaken, but I thought I remembered them stating that the biometric system was created by Birdie/Claire Ortiz, as they were the only ones knowledgeable enough that Natalya had to pull it off. With us rescuing Birdie, and with Claire MIA, Black Tusk might not have anyone who's able to modify/revoke access.
Keener picks up a briefcase with new watches 6 in total at the end of the mission. Guess who will be using these watches? Keener, Kelso, Manny, Theo, Scheffer and you the player will be using them to counter Black Tusk. 😎

Starting over is optional- but they have streamlined leveling a bit. There's an Expansion you can play through, several game modes, etc... lots of stuff to dive into!
I believe it only says that because that's how they had to code in this XP event- there's no new target or narrative content coming for the remainder of this Season. I think it'll all be laid out/displayed better if they continue these once Seasons 2.0 goes live, since they'll likely be redesigning all of the UI for that
Unless I'm mistaken, the Dumbo map is all accessible in Div 1's original Brooklyn tutorial zone (minus some of the building interiors). So a re-imagination of that area (probably in homage to TD1) could certainly happen, yeah!
I think it would be awesome to see a prequel as a spin-off, but it's not my hope for TD3, personally. That would essentially mean that they couldn't make it a live service/looter shooter like the first two, as the narrative would only have a handful of weeks to span across before hitting the timeline of Div 1.
I finished the manhunt for keener and missing 4 files as usual for a manhunt when I've gone through the manhunt sometimes I needed help y aa I always missing the files
You'll collect the remaining few Comms from replaying the final mission, be sure to pick them up from the Chimera boss each time 👍 You can replay the mission on any difficulty

It's set for release with Year 6 Season 3, which as of right now is coming around February 2025. There was never a June slot for next year mentioned- you might be thinking of when it was going to release in June of this year, prior to the delay that was due to Project Resolve
I hope we get a new weekly task something like •hunter hunt (Basically Anna or vanguard gives us a rough location to find clues to uncover hunters and eliminate them for a good chunk of XP and maybe a blueprint from said hunter specifically tide to Said hunter that would be awesome

A few things: Not sure why some people are so hyped up about playing rogues. To what end? Or is it just 'kewl'? All this love for Keener still perplexes me. What, specifically, has he done that is good for the country as a whole? All this "Keener was right " BS. Right about what, exactly? 1st wave got screwed over? Cal, Nat, & BT are enemies? We know all that already. We have to ally with him to defeat BT? Perhaps, but after that what then? We have seen Keener has his own unknown agenda, but we can be sure that whatever it is, it is focused on one person: Keener. And he has no hesitation in killing anyone who gets in the way of his plans, as he has demonstrated in the past. In spades. What is the point of a game called The Division if the Division is shut down? I will admit I am more of a traditionalist, so if the TD games go in the direction of abandoning the Division's initial charter, I will likely quit playing.
The Division needs to be Ubisofts main game they left TD2 to make Avatar (lol why?) imo and nobody plays them The Division is not the type of game you can make and then have a Skeleton crew take over the game...
My suspicion is they didn’t even start on this dlc until recently. They just kept stringing us along. A mistake with this new dlc will kill this franchise and no one left to buy a D3.
First how did keener survive in my cannon play though from hundreds of m16,m60,mini gun bullets and grenades to all over his body honestly the should've very scared and very weaken fro. M so many bullets my dad Eve says bullets to the head instant death as armor doesn't fully stop bullets. And regardless of what keener wants I stand for the USA and Constitution of the USA that the founding fathers wanted.I don't stand with the corrupt politicians and elites and pmcs. My character helps the civilians and militias so the USA can be rebuilt as a true land of the free and home of the brave. Considering most of the old corrupt politicians are dead,along with many of the corrupt elite minus the remnants backing the black tusk. Cause I will not go killing civilians and militias just because Kenner tried to do it. And many of his followers wanted to destroyed the settlements I've been helping many full of children I mightadd.
Keener has been portraayed as this bad arse agent. The manhunt final fight against the warhound just proved that he was just a 🐱. Didn’t even help. All mission he was dropping his clones and he couldn’t even use the decoys during the fight. He just kept hiding. I was expecting fighting alongside him was going to be epic, but it ended up being the same as any NPC fighting alongside you in any control centre. Not impressed.

Most of TD2's content/efforts these days is in PVE stuff. That said, they've done some solid adjustments to Conflict/DZ this year, but just changes to the existing content/format, no new additions.

So... either we will still have our Tech online (or comes back online from within the Diamond Network).
Or we both (Hunters & us) lose access to our Tech (because A.N.N.A takes Diamond with her), and the room becomes an old Wild Wild West shoot out for a moment.

Keener trying to build a team with the new tech system “ANNA” made my Theo, hinting the 6 watches. While doing the last manhunt missions you can hear Keener and “ANNA” pretty much makin fun of “ISAC” as if its like a less advanced system. Since Keener knows, im also guessing in the DLC that Keeners team which includes us we end up going against something more advanced or like a bigger problem in a way. Thats why he knew he needed a even more advanced team with new tech to face off whats ahead of us. Theo’s a mastermind too if you think about it..created the whole “cloning” “holograms” and created a more advanced ISAC system; ANNA
Isn't like Theo didn't create ANNA? It was Alexander and Claire Ortiz who created that AI? I suppose Theo could modified it, but he didn't created ANNA. Maybe I'm wrong, because my lore knowledge of div 2 is really blurry

I think keener is really just trying to let us think he's on our side but he really isn't and maybe he is trying to kill the guy that the only black tusk left or at least free him to get info for him self. If I've interpreted this correctly, if we combine the maps of The Division 1, Warlords of New York, and this upcoming Brooklyn DLC I think we'll have covered all of the map shown in the E3 showcase, and more. Imagine if they connected them all up into one big playable area. Of course, that would require porting the entire map from Div 1 into Div 2. And maybe vice versa in a DLC for Div 1? I doubt they would do that though. Even though I think the setting is much better in winter I just don't think they'd want to remake all of the Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn maps into winter for a game they've kind of moved on from.

As for Division 3, I hope they incorporate some of Heartland into it. I don't see any end to the black tusk or Kalvin until sometime in Division 3.

It would be way too much work for them, because this is still Ubisoft, as decently as they've done with Div2 I still take a pile of salt with everything they do or say.
But looking at it optimistically, it would be cool if the events of Brooklyn happen and then in the next game they give us a choice to side with the Rogues or McManus. Obviously they had plans to recruit us during the Recruiter season, another hint also being the hunter we fight in the hunt for Kelso (the message we're given if he kills you), so what if during those events we do things that make us question our standings with both sides, but we're so successful at our missions that McManus reaches out again and gives us a choice at the beginning of the Div3 to side with him and become a hunter.
I know it would be a big undertaking to try and write stories and events for the 2 different sides, depending in what people want from it, but it would be cool nonetheless.
Maybe if you side with the Rogues, your allies are more like guerilla fighters and you have to rely on safehouses that are scattered around the city, kind of like we have now, but with no BoO, while the Hunter side has you working with the Black Tusk and all the benefits that cime with it and having bases in central locations, rather than safehouses.
Like I said, huge undertaking that would never happen, but it's cool to think about

I think the Watches are a solid theory. Overall I think there was a little fudging done with this Season due to it not originally being planned (Brooklyn DLC delay), and then the ongoing changes happening to Seasons 2.0 coming next month. If the narrative was planned for Seasonal Characters, and they're now no longer coming- that could have impacted things too. We'll see what we learn heading into Y6S2!

What if the devs bring in the other titles in the Tom Clancy universe? I mean, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6.
Ive been playing Breakpoint, and you can have characters from Rainbow 6 as AI team mates, and they have some gear from the 3rd Echelon. I think all 3 groups are in more or less the same timeline (theres even reference of the Ghosts giving or receiving help from the 3rd Echelon)
My point is, if theyre still alive the CIA and NSA directors know Cal, and are probably aware of his motivations/intentions. What if we get some backup From Nomad, and Sam (or his predecessor?)
If you remember ghost story, the drones are backed up by a secret frequency within earth that help them communicate with eachother. That could be the new system the div have to face

Looking forward to the DLC for sure. I do like how they have sprinkled in some of the lore from the book series into the game world. A small example is the propaganda broadcasts. Some of them have Natalia Sokolova speaking before the reset. If you stop and listen she talks about the Roamers that is a trucker faction from the book series. Almost done with Compromised and looking forward to reading Hunted. I highly recommend the book series folks.

Definitely possible! One detail they added in a previous Comm though was that Black Tusk's biometric systems are nearly impossible to dupe with cloned DNA/data. You really need the person themselves to get in. But maybe Keener will try to break Bardon out 👀

I also hope they give the “Resistance” actual designs similar to that of the enemy NPCs but I don’t have hope for that, what I mean is they have whole outfits instead of randomized clothing parts.

I noticed today that we are already using all 3 AIs. I was running OW and my watch was red. It turned orange when I engaged a CP also my tech device(was running a skill build) has the diamond logo from Black tusk on it.
Honestly with all the hunter stuff I really hope we get to see something similar to Survival, since it was the first time they appeared

Not gonna lie but all this makes me sad Heartland got canceled in favor of XDefiant because the initial lore was that the Division agents in that game had begun to lose trust of the Division which would have lent itself perfectly to the current storyline.
I am also gutted about Heartlands but I do believe a lot of it will be incorporated in upcoming seasons and Division 3 so hopefully we can get some of the content
So heres what i think could happen in the dlc, with a new zone, keener and his group would try to stage a guerilla warfare style offense against black tusk, with key players trying to weaken black tusk overtime before sending a final strike, like theo hacking servers to gain access to drones and warhounds, schaeffer helping small units with training and infiltration as he has biometric access to gain entry to secure compounds, leading to more intel and drones (unless sokolova knew about this and revoke access from him), keener could coordinate with multiple units and other factions, as he is kind of known as the puppeteer and he has influence, for us its helping them be effective, and gain more people and resources, plus with more people, more chances for people to help infiltrate BTSU and weaken them from within, its my guess and really trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
With consideration that cal could try to revoke access to isac, I think that Anna would still give us access to our tech as isac, Anna, and diamond are kind of different (not sure they have access to tech). My idea is that once we got the rogue network up it would cause other rogues to regroup at Brooklyn and fight side by side to take down btsu and the hunters, maybe Theo already put Anna into their systems and is waiting for the trigger and cause there tech to either A) shut down or B) make it so that it goes against them as before keener hacked a marauder drone on liberty Island, and guessing Theo was still alive during that time, he could already have a back door in or making new code to get through it again
Overall just my hunch

WONY was $30, and this DLC is said to be smaller in size/scope, so $20 is my guess.
I am having second taught on even purchasing the dlc because at the end of the day it became useless this year. People without the DLC are now doing what we do. It should be free.

I hate to be the downer on your theories but there's a few holes.
1. Natalya was already talking about St. Louis and its radiation issues which was in Recruited. So that pokes a hole in the timeline you mentioned.
2. If Calvin McManus had the authority to shut down the Division and ISAC he should have done by now.
3. If the Division was shutdown by McManus then how do the characters in the novel still have SHD tech and why are the cores still active?
4. If Keener has a list of all the Hunters then how does no one in the books know nothing but rumours of them? Plus its obvious they didn't find them all.
5. If McManus disbanded the Division all agents would have red watches except that's not true in the books which are in the future.
These are questions that have no answers yet. Personally I think that the Brooklyn dlc is going to be when the Division goes to Brooklyn and find the hidden Black Tusk base. Hopefully since there's been such a push about hunting hunters that next season or even the dlc has us hunting hunters. Also for all the folks pointing out Keener took extra watches for rogues...I'm guessing that was meant for the seasonal characters that certain fans killed.
1. As mentioned in the vid, Recruited takes place between September/October of 2016, which was around the timing of Seasons 9, 10, 11 for the game. So that all lines up 👍 It's Compromised that takes the big leap into the future.
2. Perhaps the only person able to make that command is the President, and while McManus is in the line of succession, he hasn't been sworn in yet. Could be a plot point of the DLC.
3. Making a declaration and carrying out a deactivation are two different things, he might state that The Division's cause is over and that they no longer have authority- but my guess is that most Agents would keep fighting/working given the state of the world. I assume the only way to shut down the Cores/SHD Network is from within, which is why we see Natalya try to attack the Texas Core in Hunted.
4. Not explicitly explained in the lore to my knowledge, but TD2's narrative director and the Crossroads author have talked about how the lack of national infrastructure leads to a big communication desert. So even if DC Agents know about Hunters, the rest of the country doesn't automatically until an effort is made to get the word out. Plus, it wouldn't shock me if Keener is more withholding of that info than he's suggesting (trojan horse theory). Also if he were to die in the DLC, and the roster is lost with him, that could be another explanation.
5. See no. 3. Also there was a Comm in the past few Seasons (might have been Y5S2?) talking about how ISAC's code is flawed, and he isn't recognizing the line of succession change, therefore not updating to mark us Rogue (that's paraphrasing, I'd have to go back and check the exact quote).
By the way- none of this is retaliatory, I love the discussion! And will happily admit I'm wrong on any of these points 😄 Just wanted to share my follow-up thoughts. Would love to hear if you have any more

1. Being honest, I don't have a complete timeline available so my bad. Just seems off timeline wise, something I can't put my finger on.
2. McManus is way down the list of succession though. But like my own idea for Division 3, there's a lot of politicians in front of McManus. So the Black Tusk would have to find and kill everyone ahead of McManus. Which I thought would make a great game concept traveling to different cities in the U.S. trying to find these politicians. I could go more into my idea but I don't want to bore everyone.
3. I don't think Division can be deactivated without an actual president...which leads to shortening the politicians in line again. Deactivated on the electronic level probably doesn't need to be from the inside because they used the program from an electronic device from inside an aircraft. I think its proximity based, at least for Miras program. But the whole rule of three is that they would have to take out all three cores.
4. True there is a communications drought but the novels show cross country communication is entirely capable. Heather Ward contacts Brenda on comms and so does the agent wanting to capture Mira, a couple times. Also while regular comms may be down there's still three cores that's whole job is to relay ISAC information across the country. Meaning logically if anyone had information on hunters (Manny, Kelso, our agent) that would have been reported and recorded through ISAC. Most assuredly after the events of the novel it would have been reported. So while the local JTF isn't getting the memo, something as terrifying as an almost unkillable enemy who is undercover in the Division who is able to scramble skills, coms and take .50 cal hits seems like something to report.
5. ISAC wouldn't recognize the change in government because Ellis was the last one officially recognized and sworn in. So without an official ceremony to confirm next in line. So ISAC doesn't follow succession because the line has ended and it hasn't identified the next in line. So without confirmation of death of the politicians in line before McManus ISAC is unlikely to allow McManus to be president.
They need to resurrect some of the former rogues who weren't evil we went after and the 1 rogue suddenly revealed to have been a hunter that heloed keener and faye but we take her out easily she didnt even fight like a hunter
I still don't think we have Keener at the boo cause the Brooklyn settlement is to important so I think cause he said he needed his watch and Comms I think it's Parnell in disguise 🤔🤔🤔

I think this would break the trust with the Agent and he genuinely does need us so I doubt it, I just don't think he's worried about being incarcerated. His comment in the living quarters of the bunker would indicate he had already planned to get captured so it's part of his plan. He probably has everything set in motion, like he said on liberty Island, everyone has their part to play, he just needs to conduct the orchestra.

Most secure facilities IRL will deny you unchallenged access if you have not accessed the facility in a large amount of time.
I could be mistaken, but I thought I remembered them stating that the biometric system was created by Birdie/Claire Ortiz, as they were the only ones knowledgeable enough that Natalya had to pull it off. With us rescuing Birdie, and with Claire MIA, Black Tusk might not have anyone who's able to modify/revoke access.

Starting over is optional- but they have streamlined leveling a bit. There's an Expansion you can play through, several game modes, etc... lots of stuff to dive into!

I believe it only says that because that's how they had to code in this XP event- there's no new target or narrative content coming for the remainder of this Season. I think it'll all be laid out/displayed better if they continue these once Seasons 2.0 goes live, since they'll likely be redesigning all of the UI for that
Do think that they might use the dumbo map from xdefiant or some of the map ?
Unless I'm mistaken, the Dumbo map is all accessible in Div 1's original Brooklyn tutorial zone (minus some of the building interiors). So a re-imagination of that area (probably in homage to TD1) could certainly happen, yeah!

I think it would be awesome to see a prequel as a spin-off, but it's not my hope for TD3, personally. That would essentially mean that they couldn't make it a live service/looter shooter like the first two, as the narrative would only have a handful of weeks to span across before hitting the timeline of Div 1.

I am currently level 40 on ps. I was 30 for some time but could never access the dlc. I have no issues on xbox (yes I have the game for both).
@@JC-lk2ed that has to be some bug, you shouldn't even be able to start leveling beyond 30 until you go to New York.
Edit: The only issue I have found after a quick search has to do with a few people not knowing you need to be World Tier 5 to access the Expac

All this love for Keener still perplexes me. What, specifically, has he done that is good for the country as a whole? All this "Keener was right " BS. Right about what, exactly? 1st wave got screwed over? Cal, Nat, & BT are enemies? We know all that already. We have to ally with him to defeat BT? Perhaps, but after that what then? We have seen Keener has his own unknown agenda, but we can be sure that whatever it is, it is focused on one person: Keener. And he has no hesitation in killing anyone who gets in the way of his plans, as he has demonstrated in the past. In spades.
What is the point of a game called The Division if the Division is shut down?
I will admit I am more of a traditionalist, so if the TD games go in the direction of abandoning the Division's initial charter, I will likely quit playing.

My suspicion is they didn’t even start on this dlc until recently. They just kept stringing us along. A mistake with this new dlc will kill this franchise and no one left to buy a D3.
D3 is going to be a prequel to D1. We’ll be working alongside keener until we splinter and the first wave is wiped out.

First how did keener survive in my cannon play though from hundreds of m16,m60,mini gun bullets and grenades to all over his body honestly the should've very scared and very weaken fro. M so many bullets my dad Eve says bullets to the head instant death as armor doesn't fully stop bullets. And regardless of what keener wants I stand for the USA and Constitution of the USA that the founding fathers wanted.I don't stand with the corrupt politicians and elites and pmcs. My character helps the civilians and militias so the USA can be rebuilt as a true land of the free and home of the brave. Considering most of the old corrupt politicians are dead,along with many of the corrupt elite minus the remnants backing the black tusk. Cause I will not go killing civilians and militias just because Kenner tried to do it. And many of his followers wanted to destroyed the settlements I've been helping many full of children I mightadd.

Keener has been portraayed as this bad arse agent. The manhunt final fight against the warhound just proved that he was just a 🐱. Didn’t even help. All mission he was dropping his clones and he couldn’t even use the decoys during the fight. He just kept hiding. I was expecting fighting alongside him was going to be epic, but it ended up being the same as any NPC fighting alongside you in any control centre. Not impressed.

Is the division 2 worth coming back to? I have no interest in the whole pve aspect I just wanna go in the dz and fight people like in the division 1
Most of TD2's content/efforts these days is in PVE stuff. That said, they've done some solid adjustments to Conflict/DZ this year, but just changes to the existing content/format, no new additions.
If anyone here thinks the DLC is going to cost less than $29.99, I have bad news for you...
