Starting strong in Darwin for the first day of exercise #PitchBlack24, as aircraft took to the early morning sky for the first wave of flying operations.

Was really hoping there would be a RAAF presence at RIAT this year. Loving these Exercise Pitch Black posts. So good that it has no pesky background music.
Would be awesome to see the aircraft types shown on screen. Great to see som many in Oz.

I was on SQ252 and we where stuck at taxi b2 awaiting to cross rwy 29 for 1 hour... it was fun seeing these beautiful machines take to the skies. RSAF lets go!!!

Basic and brainstorming method of pre flight briefing.
Understand the goe political situation of neighbour country whether they are actually prepared for war and this is a proactive measures to counter any aerial war.
Better knowledge of Air traffic control and its task associated with ground duty operations.
Air combat and tactics to deal with dogfight, means two nations fighter involved or engaged in hunting down each other. Usually this would be simulation more of real practice.
Latest upgrades and software knowledge of versatile fighter jets.
Avionics studies and new technology chapters which can be reinnovative in nature and designable.
Fighter pilot ejection and survival techniques during contingency and war crash.
Fighter pilots become more competitive in nature.

What you view as historical baggage, i true friendship for us. You would be delusional if you think that US considers Australia Japan South Korea as equal partners or allies. India is a regional power & emerging global power, we cannot be in anyone's camp. We put national interests first, unlike other american so called "FELLOW COLLEAGUES" - Peace

@@sherwinblosca998fyi, that exercise is not just to show off or anything but it trains and helps the PH pilots learn some ways in dogfighting. Remember, multiple fighter jets are useless when the pilots are untrained when it comes to dogfighting.

@@peterhart3898 Thank you. It appears that it would be an ideal aircraft for getting into remote highlands airstrips. Unfortunately made by a company that pleaded guilty to charges of supplying aircraft and aircraft parts using dodgy export data after it knew that the aircraft, ostensibly sold to a Chinese company, was going to North Korea.

This is the Mitsubishi F-2.
They did not call it an F-16, also it is an F-16, the Japanese AirForce made small modifications to it though, that is why it is called the F-2
