I had to laugh at the announcers saying at the end RBY didn't get the turn he needed for the 15 point tech fall, so instead he won by a 24-9 major decision. This was right after mentioning how they aren't math majors (7:50). Yep, they got that part right at least.
To be honest I have no idea. I get why he isn't 1 because of Gross, but he should be at least 2 after the Iowa duel. And yes, technically desanto injury defaulted out, but that shouldn't matter towards seed placement. Doesn't matter though since 9 out of 10 they will meet in big 10
Yup- and I’m new to seeing King and I thought “this guy is losing interest now that RBY has discouraged him with top tier hustle and directional changes...” - but in the first period you can see his skill level and obvious strength is quite enough to eventually hang with the top ten.

Sometimes guys get hurt and they panic thinking it is worse than it is, you see it in all sports. Paul Pierce left the NBA Finals in a wheelchair and returned later in the game. In wrestling you don't have 30 or 45 minutes to compose yourself.

I think it's because of the injury default. Desanto should def. drop a spot. I could care less if he injury defaulted.
