I love his songs about going to Mexico. It brings me back to my days as a young and crazy Marine. I was stationed in Yuma, AZ and slipped off to Mexico most weekends between San Luis Rio Colorado, and Mexicali. I also spoke just enough Spanish to get myself into trouble lol.

I'm old. I grew up in South Texas. I remember in high school going with buddies down to Mexico. The beer was cheap, and nobody cared if we drank. We had a lot of fun. Went to Monterey several times to see the rodeo. I bought two ponies down there for working cattle. This was before the world went sideways. Mexico was OK then and riding horses, just a memory.

I met Roger years ago working at a bar he was playing . He really has an amazing voice and talent and keep a crowds attention! He deserves more airplay!
