Aww this is so beautiful!! What a fun idea to have it as a family camp.....I love it!! I’m from England, UK, but have actually been to the Adirondacks before when visiting friends in upstate NY, so I know how incredibly beautiful it is out there 💕💕 We also got married in 2015 - June 20th - such a good year for weddings!! 😋✌🏻💍💕

Awwww thanks!!! I LOVE how the pics turned out -- Chelsea did such an amazing job!! 😍 And that's so funny - I had no idea first looks weren't really a thing in England! So many people do it in the states - I just never thought I would! haha :) I loved your video about how your wedding was that you did a few months ago!

It might be interesting, the summer camp in on a private dirt road and there are no cabins, just metal cots under the oak trees. I don't think it will be everyone's cup of tea :)

Yes! That was so inspiring! I want to do a wedding like that!! If you feel alright answering this, what kind of budget did you have for this wedding?
That's so awesome you want to do a wedding like this! Like a family reunion weekend are you thinking? And no problem - I'd be glad to share! So overnight guests paid for their rooms at the camp, which covered the cost of reserving the camp that weekend and helped a little bit with the food budget too. I think our total guest count was right around 250 people if I'm remembering correctly? So if I'm remembering correctly, the entire amount we spent, including the entire weekend; our honeymoon; my dress, hair, and makeup; the church, catering, food for the whole weekend, ice cream, bridal party gifts, printing the programs, decorations, flowers, photographer, gifts to the officiant and helpers we had that day, etc...I think the total was right around $20K for everything, that whole weekend. So not too bad! Food and photography were definitely the biggest expenses. We definitely made a lot of things ourselves, or our friends did some of them, so it cut down on costs a lot. I highly recommend it -- it was a lot to plan, but I had lots of help and it was seriously THE BEST weekend ever -- I wish I could do it again every year!! 😍😍😍
Oh and I think we had 60 people staying at the camp the first night, and about 100 the next two nights.

Do you have videos in advice or just talking about your journey of writing letters to your future husband? Your one of the Christian TH-camrs who's videos I trust a lot :)
Oh that's such a great question! You know, I don't have any videos about writing the letters to my future husband...and I can't even remember where I first heard the idea! I think I read it in a book somewhere when I was 13... But basically I just bought a pretty notebook and would write a letter every few months, just talking about what was happening in my life at that time, what God was teaching me, and saying that I was thinking of him. I'd write a handful of letters a year, but also pretty much every Valentine's Day (or close to V-Day) for about ten years. That was really special to me. Sometimes it really helped me feel close to him, but to be honest, sometimes it made me miss him even more!😂

On a side note though, i wanted to offer a friendly warning, Christians should not be practising Yoga or other eastern types of activities, they are actually deep rooted in occultism, Ive been there myself, its not about stretching, but poses that are part of a ritual to activate spiritual realms, every pose worships a false dietie, these so called wellness practices activates charkra points that allow the Kundalini spirit to enter into you, you can research this to educate yourself, there is many videos out there that warn us about the dangers of the Kundalini spirit, you can also find alot of this information on YT, we need to be vigilant and test everything that the world calls Good, most of what we have been taught is good is actually evil.

Hmmm...you know, I can't remember! We wanted to do a family reunion, and after looking at all different options, this camp seemed to be the best option--considering space and finances. 😃
