LUV IT! Back in my day a boyfriend had a Trans Am w a 455 cu. So some black dude pulls up beside with his hemi Road Runner on Southern State Parkway, Long Island and blew us away! Closest muscle car I could afford, a 1972 Duster 340 w 4 on the floor. Me the old lady sold it. Bad Toni! The things we regret looking back, MOPAR MUSCLE cars!
The best color RR in my opinion. I was 7 yrs old when a neighbor had this car, I fell in love, the horn goes beep beep, and then there's the boring Satellite.
In 1968, a Road Runner with the Hemi option was an additional $714. That equals about $5,700 today. I have a 2002 Ford E350 Box Truck and it has the 7.3 Liter Diesel Engine which was a $5,000 option.
Agreed! No way was that the way an OEM starter cable went. That absolutely should be replaced, IMMEDIATELY, because it is carrying a lot of current and is a fire hazard.
A buddy of mine bought a blue one just like that when he got out of the military in 1969 it was the old model new stock he ran into the back of a semi fall asleep he had rawhide boys ranch rebuild the car it was like new again minus the transmission was a four-speed with a 383 coyote package.
Beep beep and you Are out of the batcave, gourgeus car My favorite colour, such a superb car, awsome stunning and fast, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum from tom your friend always 🤩,
It's an Automatic so you can let your Girlfriend drive it and not worry what gear she's in, for example 20mph, 4th gear and going up a steep hill trying to acellerate thinking if you just push harder on the gas pedal, the Car should go faster.
Wow, what a nice Road Runner love the colour. Should have left the exhaust stock as you won't be running this car on the dragstrip. Seems odd not to see bucket seats in this car. I wonder how many came equipped with this type of bench seat?
My 68 RR, that I bought in 1972 had a factory installed front bench style seat. My 68 had a 383 hemi, 4 speed stick shift tranny. On some weekends I took it on the racing track of Detroit Dragway. Had to be careful about damage to the engine, trans, and body during racing down the track. It was my daily driver to high school and work after school and weekends. Wish I still had that cool baby. 😎
PS My wife Dorthe Was a colorgrader, and cutter and Rush print special, we Are in to movies and cars, our son Jimmi grew up in a movie theater, Even at home we had home movies, super 8
The "new" Hemi's under the Dodge Challenger hood sort-of took the steam out of the old Hemi classic's? More HP and they run just fine on today's no-lead gas.

This is pure BS , if anyone buys this car for what their asking , then you deserve to be screwed over . This is why I purchased my collector car somewhere else . You might as well call them volo mecum , or volo jackson !
Generally, Auctions are a true reflection of what people are willing to pay for a Car at that moment. I follow Mecum Auctions and look online at 5,000 Cars per year along with how much they are selling for.
Not that far off Bubba. They left a little wiggle room of course. One problem, he is over selling it. He should shut up and let us see for ourselves. Car is worth maybe 120,’s . Not mid 130’s. My drop son

I wish I could afford that beautiful RR. Remembering my beloved 69 RR when I was a teenager. Thanks for the memories.

Beautiful 68
Gorgeous Roadrunner ! Great color too !
It sure is! 😎
Paint Code QQ-1 ELECTRIC BLUE.
The best color RR in my opinion. I was 7 yrs old when a neighbor had this car, I fell in love, the horn goes beep beep, and then there's the boring Satellite.
If I had this car, the first thing I do is replace the wheels and tires. Other than that, it looks stunning!
Beautiful car If I was in the market for a Road Runner that is exactly the one I would want.
Perfect example of a 1960's Muscle Car. Biggest Engine in the least expensive Body.

Killer street racer back in the day. Should have “beeped” the horn.
Surprised he didn't!
Yes the 426 HEMI is a super engine. In retrospect he should have beeped the horn. I wonder if someone makes a reproduction of the "beeb-beeb" horn?
Wow!! Power steering and power brakes on a Hemi car?? Beautiful car! My guesstimate, I’ll say a modest 150k. That’s a steal, imo.
Yep....beautiful car, but for 150K+ it should have a 4-speed as listed, not that grandma 727 auto trans
Haven’t checked yet, but my guess is $120 - $150K
The round marker lights were used only in 1968.
1968 only year for round marker lights👍🏽
Looks like the battery cable is too short at 10:24
Fuel line is touching the rad hose at 10:51

Only 68 on the round marker lights..
Absolutely gorgeous! Knocked another one out of the park Jay! 👍
Thanks! 😎

If i ever get the money, i'd take it home...WOW
Nice Blue Color.

My girlfriend would be lucky to sit in the passenger seat let alone drive it.

That is very impressive!! 😮😎

No buckets in 1968
Most of them had the split bench seat.

@@VoloMuseumAutoSales PS valoue your friendship very much 🤩 🤩
I thought the price would be closer to 500K
