Great review as always! :) This is one of the figures I am really looking forward getting. It looks perfect, and although I would rather have more traditional looking head, I also like having the more 200x-y looking one, and my only complaint is the lack of the Skeletor's iconic cowl in matching metallic purple to use with this head. If they included the swapable cowl or added another head (the original New Eternia Skeletor's head with the cowl would be great!), this BA Skeletor would be perfect. Other than that, I wish they threw in a purple power sword instead of "the Scimitar of Chaos" but that's not really a complaint. I am glad (but somewhat surprised) Mattel didn't went for a deluxe release with this one, as they just had to throw in one or two more heads, Skeletor's regular armor and a purple power sword, and I doubt anybody would complain... I know I wouldn't. :D
@hegga_nm Thanks for watching, and as always! I think they did a good job with this overall design for this BA Skeletor aside from some of those changes that you mentioned. I think the head and helmet really stand out as well as the metallic purple tones. I wish that hood/ cowl was removable off the skull. He also definitely should have had the vintage inspired purple power included. But there are plenty of figures to switch parts, heads, and weapons around now in the Masterverse line like I showed with some of the parts swapping to customize this NA Skeletor as you would like.

This has to be the best Skeletor head sculpt I’ve ever seen! I mean…it’s perfect in every way! Very menacing and sinister, as he should be. Loving the jaw articulation, even the helmet…has Skelegod vibes, and I really liked Skelegod’s design, it’s how I always imagined Skeletor might look wielding the Power of Grayskull. Damn, this really makes me wish I was collecting Masterverse! Mattel is really hitting it out of the park with the New Eternia sub-line! ~Damon

I love the larger buck, New Battle Armor, and head sculpt. This New Eternia series really puts out some interesting versions of the most popular iconic Motu characters from the franchise just as the Classics line did in its day. But the New Eternia line adds newer changes with mixed features from the main source material and newer concepts. I think they are great!👍

This figure is badass!! Wow, Masterverse keeps upping their game with every Skeletor figure and all of their head sculpts! The first New Eternia alternate head sculpt, the new one that is Alcala inspired, the 40th anniversary... and now this one. I can't decide which one is my favorite! 😍 Not the same for He-Man, unfortunately! Maybe I'm too picky, but I'm always slightly disappointed with how He-Man's head sculpts feel to me. Honestly, the best He-Man head sculpt made in recent years is his latest Mondo figure.
I agree! This,NA Skeletor is definitely badass! He is my new favorite Masterverse Skeletor now! The Alcala Skeletor that came with that Bone Throne is also really cool! I really like the larger chest, new head and armor with this NA Skeletor figure! It's funny how picky we are with that perfect He-man head sculpt when it comes to a newer He-man figure that gets released for Origins or the Masterverse! I kind of like them all a bit as I get older. I like seeing different variants of He-man instead of the same old vintage head over and over. But that vintage head will of coarse always be my favorite! That Last Mondo He-man is awesome! I have him but never reviewed it! Thanks for watching another review!👍

Great review (as always) The part swapping and comparisons are always cool, and I've been wanting this for a long time, But BBTS recently sold out? lucky for me a friend saw it at a local Comic Shop for less than what it would cost from BBTS (or any online place) And I put it on hold and picking up this Friday. I also just reviewed the New Eternia Mer-Man, which is another awesome figure for this wave 14 series! I brought this Battle Armor Skeletor in again for a couple of minutes to show some other parts of swapping ideas people suggested in the comments. Yeah, I think the Preorders sold out at BBTS. @@Themanchlid I did also watch the New Eternia Merman video, I like it but undecided, lots of cool things about it But uncertain if I'll get that when I've got multiple versions of some characters in the MV line ( 2 Merman, 2 Trapjaw, 2 Teela, 2 Beastman, 3 Evil Lyn, 4 soon to be 5 Skeletor) Him I dont mind, but there's also a new Roboto, another Beastman, Emperor Hordak, a new Amazing Fisto, so my MV Collection is getting big, I may get some or all of them, hard to say at this point. Yeah, it's a little frustrating that many of us purchased the first release Revalation versions of these figures that were kind of boring because they didn't have iconic Accessories we wanted in these figures. The 2.0 Mer-Man was a little better. But I really like the New Eternia Mer-Man the best! I'm also looking forward to that New Eternia Roboto and those other figures and I'm also running out of space for all this stuff! Lol
Very nice Skeletor figure, even if it’s not very traditional (but the New Eternia line is supposed to give us non traditional version of the classic toys) And that Merman figure on the box looks gorgeous
@@mistermort77 I think the New Eternia line is really doing a good job with these Traditional characters mixed into the Masterverse series. Some figures are better than other as far as designs go. I've been debating on getting this as it looks like my re-design I did back in 2017. I just didn't know if he was gunna be short or they were going to size him up. Looks like he's a much better height next he man so now I'm even more interested.
Yeah, he's much larger now like He-man because of the Bew Chest the added like I showed in this review. The head sculpt, helmet, and new removable Battle Armor are worth it alone! I think this is a really cool Skeletor for this series now! Thanks for checking the review out 👌

Maybe I missed it, but did you try the Bone Throne hood on the Battle Armor head? Wondering if that'd work for a more classic Battle Armor Skeletor look using the new head sculpt.

So I brought this Masterverse Skeletor in again during my New Eternia Mer-Man review and tried out that that Bone Throne Alcala Skeletor hood on this Skeletor head. It fits perfectly!

I have a kick bash idea for the perfect Skeletor and I was hoping you could put it together, since you already have the parts. New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor's Head 5:48 but with the fabric hood from the Bone Throne Skeletor on the body of the vintage collection Skeletor. I actually tried the hood on the New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor in my Masterverse Mer-Man review because I got some questions about trying that in this review. Honestly, I didn't even consider it because this Skeletor already has that chain hood or cowl. I'm not working on any newer reviews for a little while because of some health issues. Also, what are you referring to with Vintage collection Skeletor? I guess the Origins one?

The news hit yesterday that, The Vintage Collection Skeletor for Masterverse is getting a mass market release but unfortunately doesn't have the articulated jaw of the original. That's why I thought of The battle armor Skeletors Beautiful head sculp. Understandably the chain hood is glued on but I figured with a little heat it could be popped off and since you have some customizing skills, I thought you'd be open to The possibility of attempting it, Since Armor Skeletors are hitting retail shelves and are readily available. Either way thanks for reading and I'm sorry you're going through all the health problems, Hoping you get better soon and looking forward to your future videos, When you eventually recover.
@orobas Yeah, I saw the Vintage Collection Skeletor! It looks like the 40th Anniversary Skeletor, but without the Metal Weapons and moving jaw. I think I showed the 40th Anniversary Skeletor in this review for parts. The Battle Armor couldn't fit that large buck. I'm not sure about all the details of that figure until I get him. Also, the Bone Throne hood will only fit over a narrow head. I'll try to remember the request to try that in another video. I have severe lupus and mixed tissue disease. I'm always in pain, and I get ready badly quite often. So, my reviews come to a stop or slow down. Sometimes, I can put a figure combination together and take a couple of picks that I show in a private message over at Instagram, which i have done many times for other people. It is a little tight, but it can still go on the figure and articulate we'll. I originally filmed that during the swapping but cut it out in editing for technical reasons and didn't re film it.

Hello again! This is probably one of the best. Skeletor looks for the Masterverse series with that larger chest, battle Armor, and new head. He is a must-have! He is about the same height as Skelagod.

@nikoszparaszkevopulosz5522 I'm not sure why they decide to add what they do and what they don't with some of these figures. I'm guessing costs, and it makes people buy a figure sometimes just for the head or parts to add to another figure they already bought.
Duncan its a easy pass for me, but i have ordered the other three. This must be the best looking Skeletor action figure ever! The bar was already high with NE Barbarian Skeletor which miss some points for me due to the stupid narrow chest and i didn't bought the throne version because of that, but oh boy, this new one is Amazing!👌
@adamtsiolas Duncan has interesting colors on that newer armor now. But I can see people skipping out on that figure because it's such a different change over the original Man-At-Arms concept. But this BA Skeletor, New Eternia Mer-Man, and That Sorceress Teela are incredible looking for this wave. I'm really happy that they added that larger chest to the Skeletor in conjunction with the removable Battle Armor. I was also disappointed that Bone Throne Skeletor came with the small first release chest. Thanks for watching 👍
@adamtsiolas Yes, he has the drop joints. I failed to mention that. Those joints are typically used now with most of the Newer Masterverse male figures.

Great review (as always) The part swapping and comparisons are always cool, and I've been wanting this for a long time, But BBTS recently sold out? lucky for me a friend saw it at a local Comic Shop for less than what it would cost from BBTS (or any online place) And I put it on hold and picking up this Friday. Also I've watched this twice and gonna again watch it again, This is an absolutely Excellent MV Skeletor Figure !!! thanks for making these videos.

I also just reviewed the New Eternia Mer-Man, which is another awesome figure for this wave 14 series! I brought this Battle Armor Skeletor in again for a couple of minutes to show some other parts of swapping ideas people suggested in the comments.

@@Themanchlid I did also watch the New Eternia Merman video, I like it but undecided, lots of cool things about it But uncertain if I'll get that when I've got multiple versions of some characters in the MV line ( 2 Merman, 2 Trapjaw, 2 Teela, 2 Beastman, 3 Evil Lyn, 4 soon to be 5 Skeletor) Him I dont mind, but there's also a new Roboto, another Beastman, Emperor Hordak, a new Amazing Fisto, so my MV Collection is getting big, I may get some or all of them, hard to say at this point. LOL

Yeah, it's a little frustrating that many of us purchased the first release Revalation versions of these figures that were kind of boring because they didn't have iconic Accessories we wanted in these figures. The 2.0 Mer-Man was a little better. But I really like the New Eternia Mer-Man the best! I'm also looking forward to that New Eternia Roboto and those other figures and I'm also running out of space for all this stuff! Lol
Very nice Skeletor figure, even if it’s not very traditional (but the New Eternia line is supposed to give us non traditional version of the classic toys) And that Merman figure on the box looks gorgeous
@@mistermort77 I think the New Eternia line is really doing a good job with these Traditional characters mixed into the Masterverse series. Some figures are better than other as far as designs go. I'm happy with the over look of the Battle Armor Skeletor. That Mer-Man looks incredible! I'm gonna review him next. Thanks for checking out the review 👍

I've been debating on getting this as it looks like my re-design I did back in 2017. I just didn't know if he was gunna be short or they were going to size him up. Looks like he's a much better height next he man so now I'm even more interested.
Yeah, he's much larger now like He-man because of the Bew Chest the added like I showed in this review. The head sculpt, helmet, and new removable Battle Armor are worth it alone! I think this is a really cool Skeletor for this series now!

Maybe I missed it, but did you try the Bone Throne hood on the Battle Armor head? Wondering if that'd work for a more classic Battle Armor Skeletor look using the new head sculpt.

So I brought this Masterverse Skeletor in again during my New Eternia Mer-Man review and tried out that that Bone Throne Alcala Skeletor hood on this Skeletor head. It fits perfectly!

Yes, it fits. But it's a little tight. I did film that, but it was cut in editing because of sound issues, and I didn't re film it to Dave time. Thanks for checking out the review!

He is my new favorite NE Skeletor now. They did a great job on this figure! I didn't mind the battle Armor He-man. I think Ramen Toys plans on making heads for that He-man.

I have a kick bash idea for the perfect Skeletor and I was hoping you could put it together, since you already have the parts. New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor's Head 5:48 but with the fabric hood from the Bone Throne Skeletor on the body of the vintage collection Skeletor. I actually tried the hood on the New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor in my Masterverse Mer-Man review because I got some questions about trying that in this review. Honestly, I didn't even consider it because this Skeletor already has that chain hood or cowl. I'm not working on any newer reviews for a little while because of some health issues. Also, what are you referring to with Vintage collection Skeletor? I guess the Origins one?

The news hit yesterday that, The Vintage Collection Skeletor for Masterverse is getting a mass market release but unfortunately doesn't have the articulated jaw of the original. That's why I thought of The battle armor Skeletors Beautiful head sculp. Understandably the chain hood is glued on but I figured with a little heat it could be popped off and since you have some customizing skills, I thought you'd be open to The possibility of attempting it, Since Armor Skeletors are hitting retail shelves and are readily available.

@orobas Yeah, I saw the Vintage Collection Skeletor! It looks like the 40th Anniversary Skeletor, but without the Metal Weapons and moving jaw. I think I showed the 40th Anniversary Skeletor in this review for parts. The Battle Armor couldn't fit that large buck. I'm not sure about all the details of that figure until I get him. Also, the Bone Throne hood will only fit over a narrow head. I'll try to remember the request to try that in another video. I have severe lupus and mixed tissue disease. I'm always in pain, and I get ready badly quite often. So, my reviews come to a stop or slow down. Sometimes, I can put a figure combination together and take a couple of picks that I show in a private message over at Instagram, which i have done many times for other people. @ivochr Thanks for taking the time to check out this review! Yes, the battle Armor Skeletor head dose fit inside that Alcala hood. It is a little tight, but it can still go on the figure and articulate we'll. I originally filmed that during the swapping but cut it out in editing for technical reasons and didn't re film it.

Hello again! This is probably one of the best. Skeletor looks for the Masterverse series with that larger chest, battle Armor, and new head.
He is a must-have! He is about the same height as Skelagod.

@nikoszparaszkevopulosz5522 I'm not sure why they decide to add what they do and what they don't with some of these figures. I'm guessing costs, and it makes people buy a figure sometimes just for the head or parts to add to another figure they already bought.

Duncan its a easy pass for me, but i have ordered the other three. This must be the best looking Skeletor action figure ever! The bar was already high with NE Barbarian Skeletor which miss some points for me due to the stupid narrow chest and i didn't bought the throne version because of that, but oh boy, this new one is Amazing!👌
@adamtsiolas Duncan has interesting colors on that newer armor now. But I can see people skipping out on that figure because it's such a different change over the original Man-At-Arms concept. But this BA Skeletor, New Eternia Mer-Man, and That Sorceress Teela are incredible looking for this wave. I'm really happy that they added that larger chest to the Skeletor in conjunction with the removable Battle Armor. I was also disappointed that Bone Throne Skeletor came with the small first release chest. Thanks for watching 👍

@adamtsiolas Yes, he has the drop joints. I failed to mention that. Those joints are typically used now with most of the Newer Masterverse male figures.

The figure is missing something on the arms. It looks off with absolutely no armor on them.
