From a truck that was hideous to say the least, look what a bit of welding, care and patience can give you. Check out the finished result of this rusted-out 2nd generation Cummins!
my thing is day it needs is some reworking/cleaning up that bumper. Push it forward about 2" so its not a flat smash look and to make the body lines clean to match the truck. Otherwise looks good.
Thanks man! It has a leveling kit on it, just remember to grab some shocks because of the extra height. I found some from skyjacker. I believe the tires are 305/45R 22.
@@nighttraindiesel so here’s the thing I put new shocks in it and got a adapter to raise the shocks up so it would work with the leveling kit and it wasn’t different you think different shocks would help
I put levelling blocks under the front coils and longer shocks from sky jacker to accommodate them. To be truly level it would need to come up a bit more, because those coils were known to sag over time.

LOVE THE BUILD!! I have the same truck, would you mind sharing the modifications? Is it leveled? The front guard is sick, and tire size?

@@nighttraindiesel hey bro also what steel bumper is that?
@@sanguinary6247 It's the only one in the world. LOL Homemade.
What lift you do I own a second gen and cannot find one for it.
Nice work!! Where did you get the mud flaps?
eBay
@@nighttraindiesel thanks!!
how’d you paint it?
I live pretty near London, Ont would you be down to trade for it?
Sweet build a looks like lot of hours into it, you have a leveling kit in it?
Countless hours, yes a leveling kit. Factory they came exceptionally low on the 2wd models
@@nighttraindiesel how does it ride I put a 2.5 in mine and it rode like crap very bouncy
@@chaseholmvik5666 It rides decent, I didn't notice a difference. Try new shocks meant for the levelling kit. I found some from skyjacker.

Metal is Metal, Mechanical is Mechanical... Insurance Companies don't see it that way.....
Any suspension changes or all stock?

What clutch do you have in it?
Southbend duel disk, it's heavy on the foot
