I like how they have representation of some of the clans from the previous generation among the students. Aburame Clan(Shino), Inuzuka Clan(Kiba), Hyuga Clan(Hinata).
But these Aburame and Inuzuka kids wouldn't even amount to fodder in Naruto. That's how weak every clan has grown.

I really do think if Momoshiki keeps repeating the same thing about how Boruto will lose everything, it’s pretty apparent that Boruto will end up being the villain eventually. The way they’re painting this picture, as of now, Kawaki is getting closer to everyone in the leaf while Boruto is trying desperately to hold on but will soon get consumed by Momoshiki or corrupted. Boruto pretty much started out with everything and Kawaki had nothing. From a narrative standpoint it would make sense for these roles to be swapped. Kawaki becoming a good guy and saving the leaf would honestly be a great way to wrap up this show and show that peace can be obtained. Boruto would be way better as an antagonist anyway honestly. Just my thoughts.

I love that the fillers are giving us more of Kawaki so we can love him as a character. But really in the end, that time skip is gonna make us chose wether to love him or Boruto. Which betrayal will hit us more.

Kawaki is my favorite without question I love his design I love his backstory I also like his growth as a character. He's awesome ❤️

Hinawari literally was used as bait vs delta and just got kidnapped a few weeks ago....she easily could be dead...not sure why she is still at the academy...you would think she would not want to be a ninja at this point
Meanwhile Naruto's generation: "We are in a war. Wake up Naruto and make him go after Sasuke so they can fight the war tool of Suna. No, I don't care that I am much more adept to take on a genin as an ex-anbu/war hero/half sharingan user. They can take care of it or die trying."

@@razkable Himawari is just like her parents, she's mostly there to make friends, and of course nobody tells her that ninja life should be taken seriously no matter which era you are, just so she follows the ninja lineage.
Idc what people say about "filler" but these are amazing because we get to see characters interact with daily life and see them do missions that aren't on the screen.
So far this the only filler of Boruto that doesn't actually suck I am still waiting for the code Arc already

It's crazy to see this man from literally teaching the young generation what it means to be a shinobi and proudly claims to be a shinobi himself and then you have the future kawaki who is literally dressed like jigen and declares "the age of shinobi is over" and destroyed the village.

They're not making him a compelling potential villain. Don't forget he is going to be a top antagonist.

@@Haus239 For now but the fact that Kae is going to be alive will likely mean that the anime will reserve for another overarching storyline for Kawaki in the future when she seems to be the big player for kawaki growth beside himawari ofc.

Because those kids at the beginning of the show were talented and came from powerful shinobi families compared to these kids.
The era of peace doesn't allow for Shōnen action development.
Peace has created a lot of soft shinobis. Compared to Naruto's time, it was a time of war; killings left right and center. Naruto managed to create a peaceful era for the current children but because of that, many of them are lacking.

Himawari does have the Byakugan, it just doesn't look like a Byakugan 24/7. It's unknown whether this has any effect on her Byakugan's abilities.

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move so Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them.
2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods.
3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*
Defused Momoshiki did the opposite.
Creators should really change the anime title by now to..
