Colorado state museum is one best state museum i have been too.
29:41 this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I want a movie of this.
I've lived in Denver 20 years and have never been there lol Putting it on the list. Casa Bonita is any day now!!!
Thank you so much for filming and sharing. I like what you said, "what a jerk". The photo op with the barrel was funny. I am sure that was difficult being in a barrel and unable to bend. But it was funny to watch. Thank you for leaving that part in. Its awesome that you take part in the exhibits. I love going to Denver for conferences. The blue bear is quite cool to see.
Royal Gorge bridge, Million Dollar Highway, Avalanche bunkers, Ouray, Loveland's Statue of Liberty, Big Thompson Canyon, Caribou Studios in Nederland, Granby Town Trasher and the headwaters of the Colorado River
to name a few suggestions
man, I still have dents in my knees from the Wild Chipmunk...Lakeside sure is uh...something.
Colorado springs here. Your uploads are much appreciated, really interesting. I'm originally from Germany, and grew up between California and Colorado off and on, I was a army brat lol. I live 2 minutes outside of fort Carson 👊✊
I was born in Denver many moons ago, grew up there , have been away for awhile, miss it everyday, thanks.😽🪶🎶
Being from Colorado, I can say the state is full of history everywhere! I find it funny that the last object in the museum is the water pipe. pretty much sums it up lol. The humor is 100 percent Colorado as well.
Buffalo Bill shooting Pollution is an iconic moment in history.
Another fine video. Thank you 😁
Awesome as usual😊
I was born 60 miles north of Seattle, and still love the rain and all the green. However, I transplanted myself to Colorado in 1998, and now consider it to be my home. Both states are excellent places to live. I really love when you take us to museums; keep up the great work!
Its been a few years since I lived in Colorado, I dont know if its still open. In Parker, CO there is a museum called The Wildlife Experience that has a lot of animatronic animals.
It unfortunately closed last year and everything was sold off.
Thanks for taking us to the History of Colorado museum, Jacob ❣️
Another awesome video Jacob 🌟 I loved the museum 😻 and seeing You wear the barrel 😄 Going to see the Big Blue Bear and posing like Him too 💙🐻 I haven't been to Colorado myself but I think I want to visit someday, but I might have to bring oxygen 🤭 Thank You for the fun and informative tour 🙏💝😻
Yay! My home state!❤❤❤❤
I hope you get to visit the wonderful town of Cripple Creek which is a true blast from the past! And for bonus points, wild donkeys freely roam the streets! Denver is a fabulous place as well.
The part with the barrel had me rolling LMAO 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
14:07 classic hilarious 😂 Carpetbagger in the Barrel!
Jacob loved your videos few days back glad you and Jenn planning your life together you both are awesome people with lots of love and adventure. Have a beautiful time together and i cannot wait till everything is ready here in NC for you both prayers and love sent to you all and the family too.
Thank you and Hope you are both having a wonderful day.
37:46 "Honey" is a call back to when people had to clean out cesspits and out houses. The workers were ironically called "Honey Dippers"
Good Afternoon Jacob 🙋🏽
Love the big blue bear. He's awesome!
You make me laugh so hard sometimes with the funny things you do.
Trying to get your hat of the floor in a Denver bucket really had me laugh today!
Your knowledge always amazes me .
Especially the things that some say is just useless information.
Well that's the information " I" like to know about, my fellow Hoosier person.
Fun look at the history of CO! Thanks, Jake.
Lot of interesting museums, statistics in Denever and love the blue horse and blue bear.
Aw, this whole video made me kinda homesick. Loved it!
Casa Bonita is opening by the end of May. Can't wait to see you take us all there 🎉
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome work and be safe out there safe travels
Enjoyed replay thanks for sharing your channel 😀 👍🏼 😊 ❤

So glad you did another video! Love this stuff.
Keep up the good work. Got my posrcard roday!
8:54 that was on Mysteries at the Museum
There are dozens of parks in the U.S. which were built over old cemeteries because it was easier than moving all the bodies.
Think about that next time you fluff out your blanket on the park grass for a nice little picnic with the fam. 😆
Well, we have plastic and oil 🛢 which is all dead things, and we eat dead things, live in dead things every day. Right?
I just learned soo much from this video. Thanks for sharing 👍
Love your videos Jacob❤
My buddies Grandfather was the Barrel Man, my dad actually knew him first though. We have pics somewhere of my dad wearing the famous barrel.
Great video Jacob.
Jack rabbits- Monty Python wasn’t kidding. 😳😱
Those Crocs clogs on display looks like yours or Jenny's lol you must giving them to this museum 😊 for display in a box for everyone to see, it will say "These crocs clogs were once own by Jacob the Carpetbagger" lol
OK not trying to disappoint anyone, but the clogs were actually given by a museum employee who owned them and didn’t like the pink color. I only know that because I worked at History Colorado when this exhibit was developed.
According to google, the word honey dipper is used to describe those individuals who clean outhouses. Honey dipper. A worker who collects household sewage from sewage tanks.
Hopefully you will visit the Denver Museum Of Natural History too especially since you like taxidermy animals and dinosaur bones.
You have to go to lake side. Ride the chip munk. I was to short. Now I'm finally 5 ft. But I had a heart attack so I can't. U have to ride it for me. Please😊
I've always thought Honey Bucket was a gross name for a port-o-let, but I think that's an old slang term for such things... I always think of 'Honey Dipper Dan' from Mad TV.
Major input !!!!! love it....Learn something new everyday !!!! XX
People who used to clean out septic tanks were called "Honey Dippers".
Wacky yet cool 😎
Did you get new pink clogs or did you fix your old one from the airport
It is a good thing bears can not read because if he did and saw honey bucket that would end poorly.
My friend that lives in Colorado lived on Colfax when I first visited him. He said that his neighborhood was safe enough, but I shouldn't go too far from his place. He'd be the first to tell you yes, in fact, Colorado is weird.
Denver is nasty
@@brittneydormagen2314 ikr , honestly can't wait to move out of the Metro stink
@Matt Wyckoff I can't movie till my daughter is 16 . Thankfully, not too far away .
@@DigitalartistMatticusme2025 well, he did move. He's over by Red Rocks now. But I went to public school in Chicago, there's not much I'm afraid of.
Y'all are soft. I'm a 5ft2in girl in my 20s, I've been down Colfax and other "rough" streets and even through downtown (at night too) plenty of times. I don't have a car and I just go everywhere with the bus or walking and I've never had issues with anyone or felt unsafe here.
A family that I saw on a Carnival Cruise Ship back in 2019 when I went on the Panama Canal cruise lives in Fort Morgan. Also, that's a really awesome museum Jacob!
You seem to be breathing better now than before high up the mountain
10th mountain wasn't exclusively WW2. I mean they were there, but they still exist. Fort Drum NY. Not just a WW2 thing.
Guess you don't want the lighted man to become the Burning Man
Mucking ain’t easy 😂😂😂
Actually Wyoming was the first state to allow women to vote, followed by Utah and then Colorado. 😊
That’s why it’s called “The Equality State”
Ohhhh!
@spawnofdawnacle Good point
On June 4th 1919 the first states to ratify the women's right to vote were Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan. Illinois placed their vote first but had to redo it. Michigan voted anonymously. Wisconsin was the first vote ratifying the new amendment of the time. So no. Wyoming had nothing to do with introducing womens voting rights. The only additional states on the polls within the first day were Oregon and Washington DC.
@@raggy4064 Wyoming was letting women vote in 1869, before it was legalized.
Downtown Denver is yucky. I live here.
Can you go to the Molly brown museum and home
I first saw those honey bucket porta potties here in Washington when I moved here last year! Right?!?!!? TERRIBLE name.
I thought you threw them pink crocks away?
what's in the colorado museum?
i hope i can learn more about this museum.
but i hope i find out soon.
Ps lol😮😂honey bucket toilets 🚽 too funny 😂like whatttttttt
We need a video of Jacob on some edibles 😅
awwwww so cute love that fox squirrel!
Burro is a donkey and mule combination.
I read your comment and thought, no, it couldn't be because mules are generally sterile and therefore, cannot reproduce. So I looked it up. A burro is simply a small breed of donkey that is used as a pack animal. If it's small, maybe we could think of it as pony-sized donkey.
I miss the logo of the horse was coming out of a "D, never like their current logo
As a Denver native I couldn’t agree more! The new logo looks like a pissed off chicken
i still have a lap blanket (used by my mom as my swaddling blantet) that is the old logo
I know a few people who are TRASH, but sorry Jacob you are not trash.
You had me at history museum.
Should have pick up the blue bear.
Dang it. Ive always wanted to fondle the broom
You shaved 😂
This is a nuance, but Wyoming allowed women to vote by an act of the legislature. They were a territory and needed additional voters. Colorado was already a state and was the first state where women won the right to vote by a majority in a state wide ballot.
I love you, man.
I thought Wyoming was the first state for women to vote back in 1920... Am I wrong?
Are you also heading to meow wolf?
Hey Jacob please go to the meow wolf or aquarium awhile you are there
Colorado is in the west, not the north
You are officially the most awkward person in the United States!!🤣😂🤣😅😆
Cheese-man Park, not Chess-man Park.
Looks cool in broncos barrel go broncos
Colorful is saying politely. 😂😂😂😂. It's an ass backward state 😂😂😂😂
Come to the Milwaukee County zoo because they have Ice Age giants and it open now though may 27 9:30-4:30 and 9:30 to 5:00 and that is may 28 to Sept 4 and please come because my birthday is on may 29 and I will be 13 teenager so please come next week ok, Gavin
Wyoming was the first state to grant women to vote 🗳 🙄 😂 🤣
Awesome thanks for sharing this was so good 👍👍👍👍
