Too be honest that offense line the buffs had last year was real real bad Jimmy couldn't get the ball on a regular read cus 2 was panicking all the time on the check down or straight run ..and Jimmy still had decent stats... with a new online jimmy will be a problem!!!!!!!he here too stand on business this year!!!!!!!!! 💯

My thing is all jimmy routes was short basically. I think his speed wasn’t showcased enough especially with all the option routes
I like Jimmy to start too, they will have SO many packages for all the WR’s and a better OL/RB room.
There are so many WR combinations the OC can put into play. J5 will get reps.
Would love to see Wester and J5 on the field at the same time to see how the defense adjusts.
Overall, im eager to see which WRs are lined up on the field at the same time.
After seeing this I'm confident about him more nd yes like T-cal say if he can stick he's foot like LJW he's for sure elite saw a couples routes where he did it and it was crispy clean

He is tough not injury prone. Great athlete
Jimmy was capped by the play calling which were a direct reflection of the poor offensive line play. These short routes were not his game…it was the game they were “forced” to play bc they had NO run game.

Jimmy is fast but Lajohntay has burst and speed. I honestly dont see Jimmy as a starting receiver in the NFL but maybe special teams. He'll probably start until Lajohntay makes it obvious that he should start instead
Lajohntay is one of the top 10 WRs in college football at the worst. 0% chance he doesn’t start

Jimmy horn was injured most of last season. Growing, and hamstring issues. He received lots of criticism last year as a result.
Jimmy was hurt last season and it was fucked up that the guys behind him didn’t get a chance , the position coaches gotta get they shit together
Jimmy will start because CP likes him and his story. Heck, I like Jimmy.
But come fall, based on hands, he will be the 4th or maybe, the 5th most talented receiver on the team. But to his Credit, what he lacks in talent, he is a dawg. He could move up, just based on him wanting and needing it more than the other receivers ahead of him. I hope he works on his hands, he has everything else. What is a receiver without hands.
Aye yo this is scary cause jimmy Horn jr is a good player. Deion and the Colorado staff did an amazing job with the transfer portal I haven’t seen anything like this. This year is Championship or Bust!!

@andrewfrzr He has decently soft hands. The issue is he locks his arms alot while the ball is in the air.
Im not saying he a running back but they can use jimmy like edwards. Let his speed kill out the backfield.

Jimmy in my opinion should be WR1 without a doubt, Hunter is good at receiver and he’s really good at CB, he’s great as a two way player but far as on the offensive side of the ball Horn should be WR1 period.
Am looking forward to JH Jr. & Omarion Cooper having a big year.

2 things Jimmy needs to work on:
1. Route Running
2. Run after the catch
To have that much speed, he should have a lot more explosive plays.
Yac is not something he need to work on. They just have to put him in position to where he can use his speed more. He’ll break a lot this year. His route running is good tbh, but everybody should continue to work on that. He run better deep routes than short routes though because he can manipulate his speed. I would like to see him lower on them comeback route
Nahh fam when Jimmy gets the ball he picks up speed 😂. Seen all of them in person at that TCU game and they really got some talent

Jimmy can run routes I just feel like he doesn’t do it. Like he was too lazy and comfortable in his position last year. Now since Wester is there and that room is deep so he doesn’t have a choice but to step up

jimmy is a dawg! the drops were insignificant and didn't cost them any games. let's take the CSU game...i give him a pass because they were playing dirty and headhunting. the could make you cautious and nervous. but he was able to maintain composure and catch the game winning TD. lets take TCU...it was the first game and over 100 friggin degrees! regardless, he still played well w/ over 100 and a TD i believe. and don't forget that compromised horrendous OLine! im shocked they were able to get the stats the got!
Jimmy Horn will start and play the Slot Receiver!
That’s where Lajohntay plays as well, we definitely think Jimmy will play but LJ going to be the 1st slot
Let there be a serious competition for the Slot and ALL POSITIONS EXCEPT QUARTERBACK. The best players should start and the next best is the backup. There will be formations with double Slots. Jimmy is also a valuable kick and punt returner. These are pleasant “problems” which shows how much depth there is at receiver.
looks like Jimmy killed against man coverage or every 1Y (TCU, USC). If produce enough of a run game to for LBs and safety's to respect the play actions, Jimmy can have a good year.
Main thing as receiver is to make every route look the same. He does that he’ll be fine. All he really needs to work on.

If Jimmy gets replaced I will lose so much respect for Coach Prime and that’s definitely not something I want to happen. I love what coach Prime is doing. I hate to say that cause I been rocking since diapers but come on now. With all this going on we gotta stick up for Jimmy. He deserves his shot at the league. I want to win just as much as anybody but everything can’t just be about winning.

That scheme did not benefit jimmy, plus a lot of lazy routes, aka hitches. They couldn't run the ball. Maybe that added to the defense sitting on routes. I felt the colorado state game jimmy ran the same route over and over again.

I like him as a person but he has bad, and stiff hands. Not an nfl level receiver unless he can make some adjustments. Id play the best talent. I’m sure he will get solid reps though. Probably shouldn’t start

Short answer… hell no. Dropping balls, taking plays off, running routes half speed, no yards after catch, poor blocking, etc…. He will be lucky to see the field.

You don’t just get to keep your job because you were there first this isn’t little league. And irregardless of Prime being his father there isn’t a QB that came in or currently on the team in the same stratosphere as Sheduer as a QB so your point really has no legs to stand on.
