I know this is old but I’m rewatching it as I’m going to focus on dahlias for florists (and tuber sales) going forward. I’ve found that my Crichton Honey had the same inconsistent form that you described and, from the pictures I’ve seen online, I think perhaps that’s just in its genetics? It seems to have an inconsistent form with some looking like a perfect ball and some looking a bit twisty in the center.
Thanks for your information and work to make this video. Would be nice to see a picture of the ones you mentioned in your gardens, to see why you loved/ disliked them. 😊
Yes, Wizard of Oz is not supposed to be bright candy pink. It’s supposed to be a very soft pink. Maybe what they got was either mislabeled or a “sport” of Wizard of Oz.
@Petite Fleur I knew it was “Chik”(Fil-A) the latest Mandela Effect...the spelling has always been Chick. Ummm, not in my former reality, but apparently so- check it out

I got some Dahlias at aldi this year for just 2.29 and was able to seperate the tubers into 5 plants
