Happy to announce that for the first time in our vlog we will be covering Breakfast and Lunch on the same day at one of the newly opened a restaurant in Panaji - CAFE RADHABAI.
First of all, I loved the name "RADHABAI", it's my grandmother's name so I was immediately connected with this place.
The owner "Sameer Ghadi" named it after his mother. He is from Shirgao and has been serving Authentic Goan Food in Panaji at Shram Shakti Bhavan where he has got a very good response.
I loved the fact that they had KALWA TONAK/BHAJI which is a rare find, especially in Panaji city. We always eat the regular Patal, sukhi,
tomato, salad bhaji but KALWA BHAJI, SUNGTA BHAJI is something you will find either in South-Goa or in the interiors of North Goa like Siolim, Ribander.
We ordered KALWA BHAJI, PATAL MIX, GOAN BUN, PAO, MIRCHI, SAMOSA ALONG WITH TEA. The taste is very authentic and KALWA BHAJI is something. I will recommend to you guys, Also loved the Goan Samosa, now a days restaurants are shifting to Punjabi Samosa and very few restaurants have kept the Goan samosa alive! You must try their Goan samosa, nice and crispy and bhaji is very tasty, a mix of potatoes, carrot, peas, beetroot, etc.
We also tried the Chonak Fish Thali and the Chicken Thali along with some fried fish Sardines (Tarle) and Silverfish (Velhyo).
The fish thali is very flavourful, the curry is super tasty and also loved the clam or tisryache sukhe. The fish was very fresh.
Highly recommend to anyone and everyone who is looking for daily food. If you are working in Panaji, travelling from far than this place is for you as the food is very fresh and tasty and above all it is very pocket friendly.

kalwa bhaji in other words he mean to say is kalwa ross. many joints /outlets run by goan Hindu give kalwa /oyster ross, and it taste good.location ?
